A perfect place!

We had the most amazing time in Layals flat. The pictures are very accurate, the place is beautiful and very clean and the balcony is so spacious and perfect for all meals or just evening drinks.The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s even bin liners, aluminium foil etc. left by others so you don’t have to buy everything. There’s an ironing board, hair dryer, literally everything you need.The beach is just minutes away and so is the pool area. The main pool area is great! It’s very big, sun loungers are only 1 and you get a soft mattress. The young people working there are very nice and helpful. There’s another pool area on the other side of the Avenida, but we preferred the Playamar II. There’s also a kids’ pool, but we didn’t use it.The supermarket is just as close as the pool area and the beach so you have everything you need within five mins walk. We’ve been to Torremolinos many times before but this is by far the best place we’ve been to.Layal was very helpful, so flexible about check in and check out and always quick to respond.We cannot recommend this place enough!

Best VRBO we've stayed in

We really loved this property and it's the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. The balcony and views of the sea were spectacular. Location was convenient to the beach and many restaurants. It was a little bit of an uphill walk to the town center but still only about 15 minutes by foot. Layout of the apartment was great. Beds were comfortable. We only had breakfast and lunch in the unit and everything was adequate for our needs, but we can't comment on what it was like to cook meals there. There is a great supermarket (Mercadona) two minutes away. Although we didn't use them, there are a lovely pool and tennis courts. There were so many conveniences in the apartment that you usually don't find. Three of us lived very comfortably there for 10 days. Note that the air conditioning is turned off part of the year (we were there in October). It wasn't a problem as the cross breeze with the balcony doors open kept the place plenty cool. Wifi was great. You'll need to brush up on your Spanish when you check in as the local contact does not speak English. Make sure you establish some way to contact her before she leaves as there were some issues communicating through Whatsapp (not her fault) which we can't explain. It would have been helpful to have a manual of printed instructions and important information, which other VRBO's have, and the main door lock was a bit balky. But overall, it was wonderful and we would love to come back to this property.

Dans l’ensemble, nous avons apprécié l’appartement et surtout sa localisation et la vue sur la mer. Toutefois, nous avons été privé de conditions annoncées soient le four et le micro-onde pendant 6 jours, de l’air climatisée pendant 7 jours rendant les nuits inconfortables et de la télévision pendant 4 jours. Dans l’ensemble, nous sommes satisfaits de notre réservation mais nous sommes d’avis que les manquements auraient dû conduire à un dédommagement.

2 bedroom apartment with xlarge balcony with sea views

Wow what a fabulous apartment. 10th floor seaviews, modern interiors with everything you need to cook. It’s a beautiful apartment. Nesprecco type coffee machine. Large fridge freezer. Great bits & pieces were left in apartment such as coffee capsules, salt, oil, soap, dishwasher tables, washing up liquid etc. Makes arrival so much easier. Outside balcony has sofa and table and chairs. Gorgeous for dining outside with stunning views. Stayed with our family of 5, kids age 6, 10 & 12. They all loved it. Supermarket across the road, beautiful beach across road. Restaurants close by in every direction. All round a fantastic stay. The only negative from the kids is that the Pool is a bit strict, no pool toys allowed or floaties. Bit the pool is large and plenty sun beds with shaded areas.

Spacious & spectacular

Wow what a stunning apartment, the view is spectacular from the well equipped balcony, the kitchen is amazing with hi tech appliances that we didnt use as we are on holiday, the bedrooms were large with plenty of bed linen supplied & both bathrooms were super modern, we had a fantastic holiday & would definitely recommend the apartment to everyone

Fantastic location

Just returned from this apartment and had a fantastic week. Booking and communications with the owner were easy and informative. Checking in was OK but unfortunately none of us spoke Spanish and the lady showing us around did not speak English either. There were a few questions that couldn't get answered there and then, but it proved to be no big issue. The apartment had whatever you need. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, good beds and lots of space. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Would like to have had the beds made up upon arrival, rather than trying to find and match the bedsheets to the beds as there are 3 different size beds. The pools are great and a nice pool bar/restaurant serving nice food and drinks. For the 3 of us to have sunbeds and brolly it was less than 3 euros per day for all of us, unbelievable value. We did have an issue with 2 of the guys working there 1 day. I had left early to go to the supermarket (100 mtr from the aptmt block) When my wife and daughter tried to leave, they blocked them as I had the sunbebed tickets and because of the language barrier had a very uncomfortable conversation where they basically called them liars and cheats. Very arrogant and aggressive. Top tip! Always have your ticket with you. This is no reflection on the apartment or the owner as everything else was perfect. Location- Lots of good restaurants close by. Some great places to visit from the area, Benalmadena harbour, La Cariuela, Torremolinos old town. Excellent value.

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage.

Abzug gibt es für die schlechte Kommunikation,sowohl beim Check-in,als auch beim Checkout. Die Anreiseinfos haben wir erst ein Tag vorher bekommen! Das war knapp.Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet.Küche und WLAN sehr gut.Der warme Wind pustet auf dem Balkon manchmal recht ordentlich.Ist aber nach einem Strandtag eher angenehm.Bahnhof gut erreichbar.Viele Restaurants gleich über die Straße.Zu erwähnen ist auch der gut sortierte Supermarkt gleich neben dem Torre. Das Preisniveau ist vergleichsmäßig günstig.Die Anlage mit dem Pool ist sauber und gepflegt.Zudem gesichert.Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub. Arnim und Philipp

Bel appartement bien situé!

Nous avons fait un très beau séjour dans l’appartement de Layal à Torremolinos. La propriété était telle que décrite sur VRBO. L’appartement est grand et bien situé, très près de la plage, du marché, et sur une avenue facile d’accès. L’ameublement est récent et les électroménagers sont modernes. La cuisine et les salles de bain ont été rénovées et tout est propre. L’appartement est au dixième étage et il y a donc du vent sur le balcon, qui est aussi très grand. Le seul point négatif est la communication, qui serait à améliorer. Les réponses sont parfois longues à venir et, sur place, nous avons eu peu d’information sur le fonctionnement, par exemple, que faire avec les poubelles, ou comment avoir accès au stationnement, car nous n’avons pas pu l’utiliser durant tout notre séjour. Heureusement, nous avons pu nous stationner à proximité, dans la rue. Ce serait bon d’avoir un suivi le lendemain de l’arrivée et quelques fois pendant le séjour. En résumé, très belle propriété, et communication à améliorer!

Great Property - Unreachable Manager

Great location on the 10th floor and nice apartment, if somewhat noisy as one can hear the lady upstairs walking about each morning despite the concrete construction. The problem we encountered was that there was no cable TV after a heavy rain. On the second occurrence and after having no TV for 5 days we contacted the condo admin who immediately sent a technician who changed a connector and charged us 45 Euros which we paid. We contacted the property manager, the daughter of the owners who gave us her e-mail address and to whom we forwarded the invoice. There was no reply. We left several phone messages to no avail. We then contacted VRBO who contacted the lady who in turn sent us a message the she was looking for our e-mail. After that there was no further contact from her despite another message to her through VRBO. She obviously doesn't want to pay even though this repair benefitted not only us but also future renters of this property. I am also disappointed that VRBO wasn't more forceful in resolving this situation.

Der gesammt Eindruck ist top.Aber die Töpfe und Pfannen sind eine Katastrophe. Die Böden alle krumm, so das die nicht auf dem Ceranfeld aufliegen und die Deckel passen auch alle nicht. Dasselbe bei den Pfannen, man mag garnicht damit kochen.Dadurch leidet auch das Ceranfeld, verkratzt usw. Da muss nachgebessert werden für den Preis. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber und eine gute Ausstattung, vorallem die Terrasse mit Meerblick ist einfach super. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Fantastic apartment

Just returned from a 13 night stay in Layal’s apartment. Son, daughter and daughter in law came over for several nights. We all enjoyed our holiday, the apartment is beautiful with all the comforts we enjoy at home. The large balcony is incredible to sit and eat or lounge on the large sofa with the 180 degree view of the beach, sea and mountains. Will certainly be back. Thanks Layal and Peppy.
