Detta restaurerade bondgård har funnits i familjen sedan det byggdes 1918. Platsen erbjuder spektakulär utsikt och områden att vandra på. Förutom de vackra trädgårdarna med antik jordbruksutrustning, kommer du att njuta av den stora öppna gården (perfekt för trädgårdsspel), de stora skuggträdarna och den omsluta verandan. Always a wonderful stay!

We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future.

Enjoyed the Farmhouse

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! There was plenty of room for all of us. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. If we are back in town at another time we would love to stay there again!

Beautiful old home.

The owners were wonderful to work with. The house was so cute and cozy. Loved sitting out on the front porch and watching the deer and turkeys in the field. Definitely would stay here again!

What a wonderful property

We’ve rented quite a few vacation rentals and this one is pretty much at the top. It was such a great location and the porch is amazing. The house is so well appointed and you can tell it is well loved. We would rent this again for sure. Thank you so much Clara. We had so much fun.

Great Farmhouse

Perfect Getaway

We had a great time. The home and grounds are beautiful and give you a nostalgic longing for days gone by. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. The strawberry rhubarb jam was delicious. Sorry we didn’t get to leave Wendell the whistling whistle pig any jam. 😉

Charming Farmhouse

This was the second time my family has stayed here. We thoroughly enjoyed it again. It’s a charming old but well maintained farmhouse with a comfortable wrap-around porch in a quiet, remote location. The main street of the small town of Sparta is about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend

Lovely House!

I was very happy staying at The Bald Knob Farm House. The amount of charm and history in the house is overwhelming in the best way! The owners were sweet and made the house very welcoming (including some delicious apple butter). My group had a lot of fun on this trip and staying in this house!

Family Time

This house was perfect for our family trip. It was just as listed and perfect. We got to spend time with family and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with my Aunt and Uncle that live in Glade Valley. We will rent this house again.

Family time in a peaceful setting

This is our second time at Bald Knob Farm. We enjoyed our special family time and made great memories. The owners are super to work with and had the house stocked with everything we needed. They even blessed us with some delicious homemade apple butter! We will be back again soon.

Beautiful and relaxing

The farmhouse is an extremely charming house full of antique furniture and history. It's family-friendly and the yard is great for kids. We were all quite comfortable, and we were lucky enough to get to chat with Clara and Clarence a bit about the history of the Crouse's and the house as well. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to stay.

Private and relaxing.

Beautiful old farm house with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Great sitting out on the wrap around porch and watching the deer feed in the field in front of the house. Would be totally awesome in the fall. Clara was very helpful and nice.

Heaven on Earth

This was the most peaceful relaxing vacation ever! The beautiful farmhouse with beautiful views of God's creations! Even saw deer (including a small baby) in the field beside us! Swinging on the porch watching hummingbirds feed, and mama birds taking meals to their young! Owners were wonderful! Hope to return someday soon!
