Very nice apartment

The apartment was very comfortable. Had a bit of a struggle getting in at first. There was a sort of a scavenger hunt in the courtyard to get the keys and we were cold, wet, and short on patience but the instructions were excellent. I turned the key the wrong way (counterclockwise) in the door to get into the building which deployed a temperamental deadbolt and kept us out of the building for 10 unpleasant minutes before we lucked out and got it to release letting us in. The residents know better and a quarter turn the other way (clockwise) reliably releases the latch opening the door. Once in the building, there was no problem with the other key and the apartment door and once we understood about clockwise-only on the door from the courtyard that was not a problem, either. The apartment was comfortable and located in a beautiful part of town. I would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located on quite street

We arrived to find a lovely clean newly renovated cozy apartment. There was fresh fruit on the table and a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge. Directions for check in were easy to follow. The location was ideal. We will definitely plan a return trip!

Great little property (little being the key word). Caution if you have big suitcases as there are two large flights of stairs. Good for 2 persons. A little cramped with 3 persons. Bed is comfy and bathroom is good. Kitchen very usable for snacks etc.

Location can't be beat

We stayed for four weeks, so can definitely recommend for a long or short stay. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Loved having a washer. The host checked in with us as we were arriving. Other than that, we didn't have a need to contact them. Cathedral and many sights are just a few blocks away. There are nearby grocery stores and many nearby places to eat or socialize. The only negative for us was that the apartment is on the third floor (2nd floor if you're not from the US.) We're over 65 and hauling heavy luggage up two flights of stairs is a lot.

Super apparemment

Un appartement très agréable, plein de charme. La situation géographique est idéale pour découvrir Strasbourg. La petite rue est calme. L'appartement est très bien équipé et d'une propreté impeccable. Nous n'avons pas rencontré les propriétaires, mais les instructions d'arrivée et d'utilisation étaient très claires et l'échange de messages cordial. Je recommande !

Straßburg Tage

In der Ferienwohnung, die zentral und zugleich sehr ruhig gelegen ist, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit den freundlichen Vermietern war unkompliziert und angenehm. Straßburg ist eine sehenswerte Stadt! Das Auto in solchen Ferientagen zu parken ist teuer, weil nur in Parkhäusern möglich.

Urgemütliche Wohnung in der Altstadt

Die Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt von Straßburg war herrlich gemütlich, neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Man kann fast alle wichtigen Besichtigungen fußläufig erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

tolle Wohnung

Wenn man ein paar Tage Aufenthalt in Strassburg geniessen möchte, dann ist diese kleine feine Wohnung genau das Richtige zum unterkommen! Zentrumsnah, in einem belebten und beliebten Viertel mit vielen Kneipen und Gastro-Angeboten und doch ganz ruhig gelegen. Und gut mit ÖPNV zu erreichen. Es hat uns sehr gefallen! Auch die beiden kleinen Kreativ-Shops links und rechts neben dem Haus, die unbedingt auch ein Besuch wert sind ;-)

Perfekte Urlaubswoche

Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr gut eingerichtet und enthält alles, was man braucht. Der Gastgeber ist hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, in wenigen Minuten erreicht man fußläufig das Münster, Museen; viele Läden und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir können den Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen und kommen gern noch einmal wieder.

Agréable appartement bien situé proche du centre historique. A préciser 2eme étage sans ascenseur dans une petite rue sans accès à la voiture et difficultés de stationnement (assez cher) compte tenu de la localisation.

Wonderful landing spot for Alsace exploration

This was a perfect place for our two-week exploration of Strasbourg and environs, the second half of a month-long work/holiday stay in France. We received a warm in-person welcome and helpful introduction from Yvon on the first evening, after an easy tram ride from the train station. There could not be a better location for exploring Strasbourg on foot and by bicycle. History, museums, beautiful small streets, and tourist attractions start just a five-minute walk away, with abundant restaurants/bars, small and large grocery stores, and bakeries right around the corner. We rented bikes from a nearby shop and spent eight days on outstanding bike trails, from easy canal rides to the more challenging Alsace wine route - in several cases taking the bikes by train to the outlying starting point. These were all easily accessible from the apartment, which then also provided a comfortable and quiet place to land on our return. The apartment was impeccably clean, fully furnished for all of our needs (including a well-functioning kitchen and clothes washing machine), and even had a convenient and safe parking for the rental bikes in the entry courtyard. The apartment is up two flights of stairs and not large, but worked exceedingly well for two active 60-somethings. We recommend!
