Great place to call home for a few days

Property did not disappoint. Nicely decorated, comfy beds and hot tub was a plus. Property manager was very easy to deal with. Would stay again!

Lovely stay off the beaten path

Everything was great and was just as listed. It was a nicely appointed and clean rental with all the comforts of home. I would stay there again in the future.

Great Weekend Getaway

Great location with a pretty good view! The cottage suited our needs well. Overall a nice place to head to for a relaxing weekend. Hot tub, park across the street, quite, pets are welcome, lots of pluses. Thank you very much!

Great Location for Bourbon Tour

We had a wonderful time in Cottage 18. The location is central to Louisville and Lexington which made travel easy. Would absolutely stay here again for our next trip to the area.

Adorable Lake House

The location of this house was beautiful! We had fun taking our dogs on the hiking trails right in the community. Convenient to Bardstown and lots of Bourbon Trail locations. We would definitely stay again!

We had every thing we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We especially appreciated the Tiki lanters - I sat outside every night of our stay and wasn't bothered by a single insect!

Just Perfect!

Such a lovely property with cute finishes & unique decor. But the star of this cottage was THE VIEW! Gorgeous location overlooking the lake & the woods. Loved the hot tub for relaxing in the evening before bed. Living area was great. The kitchen had anything you would need, however we were too lazy to cook :-)Both the front & back patios were nice to relax & chat. Book this cottage! Thanks to Suzanne for her quick response. We will be back.

Beautiful views and a great cottage

Great cottage in a beautiful area. Quiet and relaxing with a great hot tub. Host was extremely responsive with any questions. Nicely located between all of the distilleries we were visiting during our trip. Cottage was well stocked for all of our needs. Only thing missing was bathroom rugs or floor towels to make it perfect. We would happily stay there again.

The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I was able to walk along the roadside without worrying about high traffic volume since I was in a gated community. The house was clean and had everything that was needed for a comfortable and relaxing retreat.

Cozy and comfy!

Cottage was clean cozy and close to Louisville. Enjoyed closeness to lake but disappointed the view of the lake from the house was obstructed by trees. Would stay again but a different time of year for view. Loved the rocking chairs in front porch and hot tub. Property was really pretty!

Just what we needed

With restrictions in place, our family decided to spend Thanksgiving at this cabin. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay from the hot tub to relax in, to the friendly town that was open as we needed things. We appreciated easy communication with the property manager and were able to check-in and out with clear expectations. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to get away, have a lake view and spend some time near bourbon country.

Peaceful

We stayed here looking for something rural and away from the busy cites for our Bourbon tour trips. It’s locate 30-40 minutes away or closer from all the activities in Louisville and Lexington. And easy to get to any distillery. Quaint little town with some good eats close by. The lake is right there if you have a boat and you can be on it in 5 minutes. Very quiet area. Suzanne was fast to get back to us and solved any minor issues we had. I would stay here again.

Functional and Adorable House on the Lake

Kentucky Sunrise 18 has everything for a nice, relaxing stay. It was about 30 minutes from Buffalo Trace, Bulleit and Four Roses--which was the purpose of our trip. The unit was very clean; plenty of towels and some kitchen gear was provided. The beds were comfy and the layout was an A+ for two couples (each bedroom has a connected bath). The stars at night were so bright to those of us from bigger cities and the area was so quiet! Not too many requirement upon checkout which is always welcome and much appreciated!
