Jag har en liten timmerstuga som ligger i de rullande bergen i norra Missouri. Det är en trevlig tyst plats för en weekendresa. De flesta dagar kan du se djurlivet resa över det öppna området på den främre gräsmattan. Stugan har ett loft med en queen size-säng och full säng. Tillträde till loftet är genom stegtyp trappor. Inte långt ifrån några små städer för mat. Flera sjöar inom 30 miles om fiske är önskvärt.

Prom night

We were simply looking for a place to sleep because my daughter was in town for prom. Wow we got so much more! We got some amazing pictures of the happy couple. My younger daughter is 10 and loved it as well! The hiking trails from the cabin are great with many unexpected attractions. Make sure you look yourself over we found a couple of ticks trying to go home with us. Beds were very comfortable. Youngest fell asleep on the couch and said it was better than her bed. All in all a very charming and memory making night! Would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful host, beautiful cabin, neat tub! I’m always looking for a place that has a cool shower or bathtub. Even a jetted tub would make me happy. I’ve got to say this is the first time I’ve been able to take a bath in a trough. I enjoyed looking around at the craftsmanship of the cabin and even the kitchen cabinets impressed me. The door handles are half of a mason jar lid! My husband and I went to this cabin alone and it was plenty of space for the two of us.

Amazing little cabin

With a short drive, we found this little cabin. As soon as we pulled in, I knew it was going to be awesome. You walk in and immediately smell the cedar (best smell ever) hit you right in the face. It was tucked away behind a row of trees and faced a huge field where we saw deer both in the morning, and at dusk. It’s very quiet. The only two things that were kind of annoying (not really a big deal) was the shower/bathtub and the loft steps. You can’t take a shower without the curtain sticking to you. Still not a big deal. You can open the back park of the curtain and it helps a bit. The listing did say the steps were steep. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have trouble walking steps, you might wanna sleep on the very comfortable couch. No exaggeration, it was one of the most comfortable couches I’ve ever sat on. The owner was AMAZING and was just a text or phone call away. We never had to wait for a response. we will definitely be back.

Quaint and comfortable!

This cabin is well cared for and sits privately behind the trees. It is surrounded by Queen Anne’s Lace and wildflowers in July. The stars are beautiful. The furniture inside was comfortable. We enjoyed the surrounding area which was quiet and scenic.

A REAL LOG CABIN

My spose has always loved the idea of owning a log cabin. Misti's cabin is 100%T logs, right down to the cabbithes, stairs, etc. Nery beatiful setting but close to several town within 30 minutes or less.

Quick get away

A lovely property tucked away. The perfect elevation and direction of the house allowed for us to just sit on the porch watching the sunset and a beautiful starry night. Understandable how directions are confusing but our advice? from the road look for the partial silo. Overall very cute small cabin perfect for time away. Owners are very nice and very helpful.

Fantastic Getaway!

Very relaxing location!

The stay was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway weekend to relax and unwind! We were able to sit on the porch and watch the thunderstorms and the deer. The cabin was very comfortable. It is a bit rustic though so just be aware that the farmhouse sinks are actually buckets and the bathtub is also a big metal-type trough! The ceiling is very low in the kitchen, the steps into the tub/shower require a big step, and the stairs up to the beds in the loft are quite steep and high. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful stunning cabin and location. We loved every moment we were there, the ambiance of the cabin and all the special touches were so much more than we expected. Misti was so sweet to have everything ready for us on our arrival, beautiful host. The rain was a special treat for us as we could sit outside the beautiful wrap around covered deck and listen to the rain fall on the metal roof. It you want seclusion and beauty this is the place, watched the deer every morning in the field in front of the house, couldn’t ask for more. Don’t miss this place! Easy Getaway

We stayed in this cabin for a night. It was as expected given the price: nice, private area; cabin is air conditioned; bed are comfy; cabin is clean. 2 areas of notice: 1) it took us longer than it should to find. On Google Maps, it took us right to the location, but initially it did not look correct when we arrived, as some there is a discrepancy in some of the roads on Google Maps compared to the actually signs; 2) the host requests not to flush toilet paper; this wasn't a big issue to us, but it may be a big issue to some. Overall, great place!
