Beläget i hjärtat av vingårdarna i Entre-Deux-Mers, är vårt karaktärshus (360m2) en fristad som är idealisk för att tillbringa din semester med familj eller vänner på landsbygden. Vår 4000m2 fastighet, i byn Escoussans, erbjuder 5 rymliga sviter, ett 120m2 vardagsrum, tre nivåer betjänas av en privat hiss.
Välkommen till hjärtat av Bordeaux-vingårdar, omgiven av naturen, där villan också erbjuder sin uppvärmda pool (från 1 maj till 1 oktober), ett piano, ett biljardbord, ett ping-pongbord och ett hemmabio. avslappning garanterad!
På bottenvåningen har du ett sovrum med dubbelsäng med eget duschrum och wc, ett tvättstuga, ett 25m2 kök och hemmabiorummet.
Det stora moderna och fullt utrustade köket står i kontrast till husets autentiska stil; det är smakfullt renoverat med sin utsatta stenmur och dess stora bildfönster med utsikt över poolen. Den har också en öppen spis som ger den ännu mer charm och äkthet.
Det stora vardagsrummet på 120m2, korsat av hissen,
ligger på första våningen. Översvämmad av ljus, erbjuder det en vacker sten spis, en kvart flygel, biljard, en platt skärm, ett stort matbord och många soffor där du kan koppla av.

De 5 sovrummen är alla utrustade med eget privat duschrum och wc.
Det första sovrummet ligger på bottenvåningen med duschrum, wc och duschkabin.
De andra fyra sovrummen ligger på andra våningen med utsikt över fastigheten och vingårdarna. Dessa är fullt utrustade 25 / 30m2 sviter.
På den praktiska sidan har villan ett tvättstuga med tvättmaskin, torktumlare och ånggenerator.
WiFi finns gratis.
Djur kan accepteras under vissa villkor. Meddela ägaren i förväg.
Från utsidan kommer du att dra nytta av den lugnande atmosfären som erbjuds av den omgivande miljön, mitt i vingårdarna eller på en solstol vid den uppvärmda poolen (4x10). Maximal avkoppling!
Vårt hus ligger 40 minuter från Bordeaux, 50 minuter från flygplatsen, 30 minuter från Sauterne eller St Emilion (två kända Bordeaux-vingårdar) och en timme från Arcachon Bay och Dune du Pyla.
Slutligen för att shoppa en liten mataffär 1 km bort och alla affärer 10 minuter med bil från huset.

Fabulous Property

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the property wowed us. It had everything, apart from a second dishwasher (we were being a lazy party of 10) that we needed. Each room was individual with bed linen and towels to go with them. A toilet on each floor and en-suites made for harmonious living. Philippe did apologise for problems with one toilet but that was very minor to us. The pool was lovely although not as well used as could have been due to the weather. The lift was brilliant as those of us who had difficulties with the spiral staircase were able to access all areas. The mosquitos did seem to find a way round the screens which may need some attention but it didn’t detract from the overall stay. In short if you are going to Bordeaux go and stay here it’s wonderful.

Philippe and Eric were brilliant hosts, any questions were answered immediately and they went above and beyond to organise a vineyard tour for us 😊 The house is stunning and is set in a beautiful, secluded location, an easy drive from the airport, shops and other amenities. We had a fantastic week here and would love to return. Thank you Philippe and Eric!

Excellent Villa

Overall an excellent experience in a wonderful villa. the hosts Phillipe and Eric were very helpful. The villa was immaculately clean and very well presented with many interesting design and decorative touches. The villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. The outside space of the pool, BBQ and outside dining were also excellent. The house is a bit remote, but with good walking options and many great places to visit within easy driving distance. The small village of Arbis (20 minute walk) has a small store and an excellent very welcoming restaurant, well worth a visit, but booking is essential. There is a larger supermarket 10 minute drive away. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay

Stunning house and location. Lovely features, especially the pool table, cinema room and piano, to name a few. The lift was very useful for the bags and our elderly relatives too. Great location, far enough away from people but close enough to get to anything you may need. There is a shop and rustic restaurant 15 minutes walk away and caddilac is a 15 minute drive for supermarket’s restaurants and a few shops a Friday night market and Saturday market The property has all mod cons and the owners couldn’t be more helpful. We would highly recommend this property.

Splendid family holiday

La Tirantaine exceeded our expectations. It is in a lovely rural location, yet only a short drive to shops. Outside, the pool proved to be a hit for all three generations. There are also plenty of chairs for relaxation and a table large enough for the family. Inside it is spacious, equipped to an exceptionally high standard, with the pool table and home cinema well used. The bedrooms on the second floor (lift available) are also spacious and all 5 en suite. We wanted for nothing and any minor queries we had were answered quickly. We also appreciated Philippe’s suggestions for nearby restaurants. In summary, a wonderful holiday.

Outstanding!

Phillipe’s home exceeded expectations. The pictures do not do this property justice, it is remarkable. The interior and exterior were so well set up for adults and children, it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms were all very spacious. The area was superb with many small towns so close by. Would absolutely return. Phillipe was so lovely to deal with as well, 10/10.

Idyllic Retreat in the midst of the vineyards of Gironde

This property was not a typical holiday let. It was the beautiful home created by the Owner with interesting architectural features and tastefully furnished. We have visited France for the last 7 years thro' Home & Away /VRBO and the properties have been of a high standard - this was the best yet. it even included a heated water pool.

Pictures don’t do the property justice- so much more wonderful!

We have been waiting for this holiday for a long time and it did not disappoint. It was perfect! Very Spacious, beautiful and the pool was wonderful especially during the very long hot days. Kiss ‘the horse’ was a lovely surprise and enjoyed many carrots. Shops are not too far away and there was a lovely restaurant in the near by village where they managed to fit all 10 of us in and we ate well! Would recommend bug spray thou if outside a lot - not the fault of the house or owners thou. Would recommend a stay here if you want to reconnect with the family.

Fab Vacation

This home was better than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. There are a lot of pictures of the outside, and we spent a lot of time in the garden and pool. The house is absolutely beautiful and the interior as well. It has been loving the restored and beautifully decorated. It is a home from 1840 and even though we had a heat wave of 43 degrees Celsius, the thick walls helped to keep it cool. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and each bedroom is quite large and has bedding and mattresses that are very comfortable. The elevator comes in handy with luggage and kitchen is extremely well stocked. We had a great time.

Propriété Escoussans

Magnifique maison très bien équipée située au milieu des vignes . Le calme absolu à quelques kms de toutes les commodités. Malgré une météo un peu mitigée lors de notre semaine, nous avons pu profiter de tout ce que la maison propose: billard, salle de cinéma, ping-pong….. et la piscine chauffée est hyper agréable. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Pour couronner le tout , les propriétaires sont d’une extrême gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cette maison!!

Des vacances reposantes dans un cadre idéal

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Escoussans en Août 2020. La maison est superbe, propre et rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Gros coup de coeur pour la salle de cinéma qui permet de regarder un film tranquillement ou de faire une soirée Karaoké. Un autre point très positif, les nombreux endroits pour diner ou prendre l'apéritif (à côté de la piscine, dans la pièce de vie, au rez de chaussée à l'intérieur et deux espaces à l'extérieur). Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, disponibles et réactifs pour répondre à vos questions. Encore merci, nous reviendrons.

Really nice house fully equipped surrounded by Vineyards

Our group of friends (four couples, one baby, one dog) had a fantastic holiday in Philippe’s home! The house is very private and is surrounded by vineyards and meadows (including two beautiful horses!). We spent most of our time lounging at the pool or watching the sunset on the outdoor terrace. The pool is large and has plenty of sunchairs and other seating options. What we loved were the special tiles around the pool that stay cool in the heat. Indoors, we couldn’t have asked for a better equipped or comfortable holiday home. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, the beds were large and soft, as were the pillows. There’s also a very practical lift that takes you right up to the top floor. For cooking and cleaning, everything you need is available: BBQ, washer-drier, pots/pans, etc. We didn’t spend much time inside because the weather was so lovely outdoors, but we would have loved to stay another couple of days to enjoy the home-cinema, pool table and upstairs lounge. All of the furniture and amenities are new and good quality. We would definitely recommend this house to others! Onze groep vrienden (vier koppels, één baby, één hond) heeft een fantastische vakantie beleefd in het huis van Philippe! Het huis biedt de nodige privacy en is omgeven door wijngaarden en velden (inclusief twee mooie paarden!). We hebben onze vakantie vooral doorgebracht al loungend aan het zwembad of al genietend van de zonsondergang op het terras. Het zwembad is groot en er zijn meer dan voldoende zonnestoelen. De eigenaars hebben ook een speciale tegel gebruikt rond het zwembad, eentje die niet opwarmt in de warme zon. Binnen was alles ontzettend goed uitgerust en comfortabel. Alle slaapkamers hebben een aansluitende badkamer, de bedden waren groot en zacht, alsook de kussens. Er is ook een praktische lift die je meteen naar de bovenste verdiepingen brengt. Voor koken en wassen is ook alles aanwezig: BBQ, was- en droogmachine, potten/pannen, etc. We zaten met het mooie weer meestal buiten maar hadden graag nog enkele dagen extra gebleven om te kunnen genieten van de home-cinema, pool tafel en lounge ruimte boven. Alle meubels en andere producten in huis zijn nieuw en van goede kwaliteit. Een echte aanrader!

Ein herrlicher Urlaub in einem perfekten Urlaubsdomizil

Das Haus, in dem wir (4 Ehepaare) eine Woche verbrachten, hat die Erwartungen aufgrund der Website-Beschreibung bei weitem übertroffen. Liebevoll eigerichteter Wohnraum und vollständig mit Allem ausgestattete Küche., es mangelte an nichts. die Schlafzimmer sind gleich groß und sehr gut ausgestattet, beste Bäder. Tolles Schwimmbad, schöne, absolut ruhige Umgebung. Äusserst sympathische Gastgeber. Vacances parfait dans un domicil parfait!!

Zeer mooi huis met zwembad midden in de wijngaarden

Zeer mooi huis met zwembad midden in de wijngaarden. Wij verbleven 2 weken , en na een week werden de handdoeken/lakens vervangen. Niet echt negatieve punten. En de kleine cinema-zaal is echt uniek.
