VÀlkommen till Day's Away river house, som ligger vid den vackra floden Guadalupe i Center Point, Texas. Center Point ligger halvvÀgs mellan Comfort och Kerrville och halvvÀgs mellan Bandera och Fredericksburg, bara 50 minuter frÄn San Antonio och cirka 30 minuter frÄn Hunt, Texas. Vattnet Àr djupt och floden Àr vid vÄr hisnande halv tunnland retrÀtt. Du kan grilla, bada, rör, kanot, fiska eller bara koppla av vid vattnet. Det finns ett underbart dÀck som gÄr hela vÀgen över baksidan av huset som Àr tÀckt. Det perfekta stÀllet att titta pÄ floden och se dina barn studsa pÄ trampolinen, simma eller hoppa av bryggan i floden. Vi har ocksÄ en repsvÀngning och en glidbana i floden. Glöm inte att ta marshmallowsna för att steka över den inbyggda eldstaden pÄ vÄra stora 2-nivÄiga stenstenar uteplatser vid vattnet. Gas- och kolbar-b-que-gropar ocksÄ.

VÄrt dyrbara hus Àr fullt utrustat för att ge en fantastisk semester du aldrig kommer att glömma! *** Huvudhuset har 3 sovrum och 1 badrum med dubbla fÄfÀngar (8 sovplatser). Det stora sovrummet har en king size-sÀng. Rummet har en dubbelsÀng. Det tredje sovrummet har en dubbelsÀng plus en uppsÀttning vÄningssÀngar. Det finns 2 pack-n-pjÀser för smÄ.

Vi har ocksÄ en *** valfri *** fristÄende stuga med badkar tillgÀngligt (4 sovplatser till). VÄr fristÄende stuga ligger precis intill huvudhuset och har en queen size-sÀng plus en drottningsmadrass pÄ loftet. Pentry med kaffekanna, mikrovÄgsugn och litet kylskÄp. We had a lovely time, the river was great and all the river toys were excellent. Make sure to read the recommendations on what to bring, but Becky was great to work with!

Days away

We did have a wonderful relaxing stay on the Guadalupe river. I was just surprised when I found that the reservation does not include the small cabin that is shown in the pictures on VRBO. I actually had to pay extra after paying for the initial rental. Beautiful home! Wonderful owner, will stay again!

Perfect peaceful fun!!

What a perfect place! We loved the lodging! Then on top of that, there was a trampoline, a floating dock, row boat, a fire pit, & more!! We stayed here while we were in town for a Stock Show and it was the perfect respite from barn life!!

A Lovely Time

We stayed in mid-March, so a little chilly for water play but we so enjoyed sitting by the firepit right on the water, under the trees. We relaxed and caught up and chatted with the ducks and geese who were very welcoming. The house is beautiful and the host is lovely. Thank you for a great weekend!

Thanksgiving Trip

This is a beautiful property on the Guadalupe River. Close to Boerne, Comfort, Kerrville and Bandera. We spent our first day at Gruene Market days - a bit of a drive to the house - but Gruene is worth the visit. The Singing Water Vineyards are a must. Every evening we enjoyed sitting on the porch/balcony enjoying the view.

Wonderful River Place

The spot on the river was amazing. The river was wide and cool, when the temperature that weekend was 100 degrees plus. The yard and area by the river were shaded with beautiful trees. We loved the floating dock that you could pull out into the middle of the river and the rope swing. We've already booked again for next year!

Something for everyone!

A beautiful property! We were able to grill, go kayaking, sit on the deck and paint pictures. The house was in excellent condition with all the amenities. We lacked for nothing. It was a great time. We hope to be back!!!

Fantastic property and host!!!

Day's Away is the perfect getaway from the hustle of everyday life. The pictures represented the house perfectly and Becky was all you could ask for in a host. She communicated everything upfront and ahead of time and made the whole process simple. The kids loved the rope swing and kayaks and fishing off the dock. Great place to spend with family and getaway from screen time. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be booking again next year. A+++++ all the way

Spring relief

We enjoyed our visit so much! I was so relieved the river was flowing enough to enjoy the canoe and kayaks. Due to the location of the property on the river, it looks like that is not a problem even during drought conditions. Everyone got to take turns and enjoy the chilly, but beautiful water. We arrived on the winds of the March 14th storm, and although it was very breezy, we were still able to enjoy our entire weekend. The house accommodated us well and the kitchen was perfect for preparing large breakfasts and cookouts. There is a public river entry across the river. We enjoyed people watching and the local ducks and goose were eager to greet everyone. Very relaxing and felt very safe. Travel to other cities and attractions was easy. We have already recommended this property to another family friend.

Liked - Jonathan's Netflix and Hulu account Didn't like - Communication - Wasted time on morning of travel confirming property instructions with VRBO call center Didn't like - Mattress pads were dirty. Housekeeping needs to wash ALL bed linens. Not just top sheets. DIdn't like - Smell - Faint smell of dead animal in wall or under floor. Owner attempted to cover it with plug-in air freshener. LIkely cause, owner uses rat bait poison.

We stayed at Day's Away so we could attend a weekend event at a nearby camp. It was the perfect place for us, giving us a beautiful view of the river from the beautiful house and porch. The kitchen was well-appointed, and the bedrooms matched our needs perfectly.

We were scheduled to stay there starting July 7th but due to the tragic flooding on July 4th, we were unable to visit the property. Becky was very kind and understanding and allowed a refund for our stay. We're going to give it a little time and try to rebook what looks like a fantastic property to visit.

We just returned from a truly unforgettable weekend at this beautiful river home. It was the perfect setting for a girls’ trip with lifelong friends all of us now in our 50s, reconnecting and relaxing together. The house was spotless, cozy, and clearly cared for with love and attention.The hosts went above and beyond to get everything ready for us after recent flooding in the area. Though the surrounding community experienced devastating loss, their home was safe and welcoming, and we’re so grateful for the chance to stay there. The resilience and warmth of the people in Center Point were incredibly moving we were touched by the community’s spirit and ongoing volunteer efforts.We especially loved the access to the Guadalupe River and the kayaks they provided. it was peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We felt truly spoiled!If you’re looking for a serene getaway with heart, hospitality, and riverfront beauty, this is the place. Highly recommend, we’ll be talking about this trip for a long time.

Nice & peaceful getaway

This is our 2nd time staying here. We noticed another bathroom was added which came in handy and the kitchen was also remodeled! It’s nice and quiet and we enjoyed our stay! Very spacious yard and well kept backyard. The only thing I would suggest would be maybe adding an extra double kayak.

We completely fell in love with Days Away! It was perfect for floating and relaxing. We didn’t have to leave to float, and it was so much better to tie up to the dock. House was as listed and there was a kayak and canoe for us to use. We will definitely come back!

Day's Away was a wonderful location for our family vacation. We enjoyed the outdoor settings during the day and slept comfortably at night. Our kids have already asked us multiple times if we can go back. This will be on our shortlist for future vacations.

River fun

We had a family group of 5 including 4 seniors and one adult. The house is laid out great and so many outdoor spaces to enjoy! The kayaking up the river was amazing! The house was in the perfect location for visiting Fredericksburg, kerrville and Bandera. Wonderful place!
