Lägenheten ligger i en gammal byggnad som har 800. Vid 4 min. promenad från den lyxiga Via Veneto och Villa Borghese. Cirka 10 minuter från Spanska trappan, Piazza del Popolo, Fontana di Trevi och en trevlig promenad anländer till Pantheon och Piazza Navona.

Suite, nyligen renoverat, ligger på fjärde våningen med hiss, med moderna designmöbler. Det rymliga sovrummet har en stor garderob och en bäddsoffa. Det andra rummet är mindre och har en enkelsäng och en utdragbar säng för två personer eller kan bli en enkel soffa för en sittgrupp, efter behov. Lägenheten har gratis WiFi, TV, individuellt kontrollerad luftkonditionering, ljudisolerade fönster, fönsterluckor justerbara i totalt mörker, ortopediska madrasser. Pentryt har bestick, kyl-frys, kaffebryggare, brödrost, elektrisk potten samt styrelse och järn, tvättmaskin.

Två badrum med handfat, toalett och dusch bidé och en med dusch, är utrustade med tvål, schampo och hårtork. Och "det är inklusive handdukar och sängkläder.

Området är super ansluten. Två tunnelbana: Metro Repubblica och Barberini Metro (till Vatikanen i 10 minuter), 50 m. många buss på Piazza Fiume, olika parkeringsplatser för en avgift, 2 hållplatser med buss från centralstationen Termini och Air Terminal till flygplatsen. I området finns på ena sidan, restaurangen-bar på Via Veneto elegant och lyxig shopping av Spanska trappan, å andra sidan, Piazza Fiume, med butiker av alla slag, från kläder till ekologiska produkter, stormarknader, marknader, restauranger, pizzerior , vinbarer, tvätterier.

Great Rome apartment

Loved the location since it’s within walking distance of major sites, but in a more authentic neighborhood away from masses of tourists. The restaurants in the area are super. A dozen non touristy ones that still cater to non Italian speakers. We found Terry to be very efficient in explaining her apartment and only confusion was not knowing that city tax had to be paid in cash when we got there.

Disappointing

This was our 2nd trip to Rome, the 1st being Fall 2023. We have experienced good to satisfactory accommodations through VRBO and the like. The Veneto apartment did not have hot water for the duration of our stay as the tankless water heater failed to function. We could not shower or wash our dishes as a result. The host was apologetic but did not offer any dispensation for this major inconvenience. The property was represented as 'Spanish Steps Rome Historical Center'. We felt this labeling was a stretch as Spanish Steps were a long walk from the apartment. Also, the apartment location was not the most desirable for the price we paid. The apartment did not have any place to sit other than folding chairs in the kitchen. We felt the host while accessible, was overbearing with regard to our using their facility. The cleaning deposit was held hostage until the apt met her strict inspection. In summary, we have stayed at far better facilities for less money.

Loved our stay

This apartment was an excellent choice for our 3 nights in Rome. The apartment is very comfortable, and the location is an easy stepping off point to explore Rome, but a bit removed from much of the tourist craziness which is nice. The neighborhood has a nice feel, not dominated by tourism, appeared very safe, and we enjoyed some nice cafes for coffee in the morning, and we Pro Loco Pinciano for delicious pasta at lunch. Terry was a very helpful hostess, and responsive to our needs and questions. Very accommodating with early check-in and later check out requests. Only mild negative comment would be that the shower is small and water pressure not the strongest, but this is probably typical for an apartment in an older building in Rome, and the positives of the building and apartment far outweigh this one negative. Clean and helpful

Terry was a great host. Communication was excellent. The apartment is clean which we appreciated very much. The second bedroom adjacent to the kitchen was small and quaint. The main bedroom is large.

Apartment misrepresented

Listed as 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sleeps 5. Masterbedroom had queenbed and a couch. Second bedroom had 2 small single beds that were in the kitchen. Kitchen was unavailable to all as it was also a bedroom. There was not a sitting area where we could all gather as a group to chat. The entrance area had no seating at all, it was unusable. It was a pass through area. Bathrooms were acceptable.

This apartment was very clean and the check-in and check-out process were very efficient and clear. However, the apartment is actually a 1 bedroom with a kitchen that has space to turn the couch into two single beds, but then there is very little kitchen space. I found this difficult to decipher from the listing pictures. In the actual bedroom you could have three single beds or a double and a single, and this would leave the kitchen’s sofa free during the day with ability to be a bed at night. When there are two single beds in the kitchen it is very tight. Make sure you communicate your preference for the bed arrangements prior to arriving as the owner was inflexible with any changes, even if we just wanted to make them ourselves.

nice stay

We had a very nice stay in Italy and appreciated the owner's hospitality and communication. It was as described in the listing except we would have benefited from some more towels and the check in process was lengthy and excessive. Location was perfect and everything was accessible and within walking distance. Our flight was delayed, and owner was accommodating and flexible as far as our check out time. This was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our time and are thankful for the experience.

Little Gem: Local Feel

Wonderful local Italian community experience away from (but close to) the busy area. Terry was attentive, carrying and communicated well. This unit is adjacent to her place, and it is private and quiet. We were there over New Years and it was a perfect place to hear the celebration in the distance and go to bed early! 😊. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen has sufficient supplies though we were gone most of the time. There was plenty of hot water! The little restaurant at street level is a 5 out of 5. We should have eaten there every nite. Coffee shops near by made us feel like we were locals. Bus lines are easy and plentiful. I loved that we could walk to the Borghese. All in all a great place. The master bedroom and 1 shower and 2 toilets made it easy to share for 3 people. The twin bed in the kitchen area with its own door worked better than I expected for our nephew. Note: I forgot about the cash security deposit, (I didn’t read the details… but it worked out and all was good!). We’d stay here again. Thx Terry!

Terry has great pride in her property. This location is excellent for seeing all,of the sights in Rome. My family and I enjoyed this location with easy walking around the the city. Grateful for sleeping quarters shared by the entire family.

The apartment was fresh and spotless. Terry provided a detailed booklet outlining important and useful information about the apartment and local neighborhood. We appreciated the quiet community area yet were walking distance to attractions. The only challenge was learning how to properly use the entry keys. We were fine once we got the hang of it. Nice apartment

Nice, clean apartment. In the description of the apartment it stated there was a smart TV which was one reason we picked this apartment. The TV was not a Smart TV so we weren't able to watch Netflix and Amazon which we were planning on doing.. Terry was very helpful. Location was great for walking to the various points of interest in Rome.

Not what we expected

The apartment is listed for 5 guests still We got charged for an extra guest, we were five. The condo is way smaller than it looks on the pictures. It only has one shower, we were expecting two since the listing shows two bathrooms. The neighborhood is really nice though.

Beautiful service

Our host Terry was very friendly and arranged for an early dinner at the restaurant downstairs because we were all starving after our flight. The apartment was very clean and the bathrooms were lovely. It may be a bit small for 4 people but overall it was a great experience.

Week in Rome

Great location, very close to Via Veneto, Spanish Plaza, Trevi Fountain and many restaurants around. The apartment is comfortable with 2 rooms, with a plus of having two bathrooms. Kitchen is small and is inside one of the rooms, there is only one TV and is small, towels could be updated, and shower is small which is common in Europe. Host was very communicative, making check in and check out very easy.

Decent location with some disappointments

Good location in Rome and clean facility. Wifi only worked 1/2 the time. Host lives immediately next door and accessed the area a couple of times while we were out, when it was not necessary to do so. Towels left for us were very musty and smelly, had to request new ones, and only one bed was made up prior to our arrival. Check in was tedious as owner insists on walking you through entire apartment to explain minutiae like how to flush the toilet and open the windows and close the doors and, and, and….as well as the financial consequences to you if you do not do these things correctly and something breaks. Host indicates that after 9 pm is quiet time and so didn’t respond to our messages re wifi etc until the following day. Short story is that is an okay place to stay but we we did not feel welcome once we got there.
