Lover's Leap Lodging, en riktig Montana-upplevelse

Lover's Leap Lodging ligger 1. 2 miles från allmän tillgång på Beaverhead River nedanför odden som markerar punkten "Clarks Lookout" längs Lewis- och Clark Trail. Detta 4 sovrum hem är tillgängligt året runt för kortare och längre vistelser. Ägarna, Sandy och Jeannie, är erfarna värdar. De är båda från Montana banbrytande familjer och kan svara på alla frågor om historien och händelserna i området. Barn är välkomna och kommer att älska sitt rum med våningssängar.

Sandy håller på att gå i pension från ranch på Horse Prairie där han har bott hela sitt liv. Han är musiker / låtskrivare och han och Jeannie är grundare och regissörer av Dillon Junior Fiddlers. Jeannie är multimedia-konstnär och arbetar mest i färg och målat glas. Originalkonst dekorerar husets väggar.

Hela huset är tillgängligt för gäster.

Lover's Leap Lodging ligger cirka 5 minuter från centrum av Dillon, men har ändå hela charmen i landsbygden. Fastigheten är nio tunnland och utsikten är rymlig. Det finns flera utbyggnader där Sandy för närvarande bor i sina samlarobjekt. Gamla biltillbehör kommer att älska hans gamla bilar.

Nice, quiet, yet close to town

The house was very nice. It was a little chilly in there, but they did have space heaters for the rooms if needed. It was very nice and quiet where we were, but still close enough to town. I will definitely book this place again.

Very accommodating hosts!

We were very grateful to have a cozy, warm place to stay in Dillon. The hosts were responsive and friendly. The house was nicely furnished, lots of space. We especially enjoyed the artwork in every room!

Wonderful and out of the way

Love the privacy and the space. We had a great time lots to do around the area. But plenty to do in the house as well. Thank you for the hospitality.

In town for a funeral - awesome owner

This property was perfect for our family to gather before and after a family funeral. The property is interesting and has room to roam around and look at interesting relics from the past. The drive to the property proved to be equally interesting. Jeanie was so understanding and accomodating.

Not much to say about what we liked other than spacious. This is located in a terrible location, felt unsafe. Also, the dishes and pots & pans needed to be replaced. We could not use the oven as it had been sprayed with cleaner and not wiped out clean. They advertise barbecue grill which also needed to be replaced. No outdoor seating but we wouldn't sit outside due to location. We would never recommend this place and we find it hard to believe the ratings this place received.

Not what we expected

I do want to mention the Host has refunded us because we had to get a hotel due to the condition of the property - ie. We found a mouse in the toilet and appeared nobody had checked on the property prior to our arrival. The refund was much appreciated. Communication prior to arrival with host was poor. Questions were not answered. I called VRBO customer service and they were not able to get a response from them either.

I don't want to jump on here and just say the bad... so bear with me. I did not receive an email with info to obtain access to the property. Tried to call/text host with no answer. Had to call VRBO directly and finally was able to touch base and get the code to enter property, etc. Not the worst thing, don't get me wrong. Second, no air conditioning. Granted, the listing does not mention whether it has A/C or not, so I should not have assumed, but unfortunately, in the middle of summer and days that are the hottest days of the year, not having air conditioning was frustrating. I'm sure staying there in the fall, spring or winter when the temps are not as extreme it works just fine, but when the temps are in the 90's mid-summer, no thanks. Otherwise, the house was clean inside and certainly worth staying at (if A/C was not an issue). The property (outside the house) was less than ideal but we were not there for that. Inside the house, clean, rooms were what we expected, had everything. There were fans to accomodate for the lack of A/C but...

Stay in Dillon

Really enjoyed the location and close proximity to downtown. It was the perfect fit for our fishing trip and just the right size. The two twin beds were a little uncomfortable but I put an extra quilt or two on it to cushion those springs.

Roomy Home

We are full time RVers and like to stay out of the RV every now and then. This house was a great place to give us all the space we need. Our Cavaliers loved the room to roam. The huge jetted bath tub was amazing!

Sketchy neighborhood.

The house is very clean inside, the house is extremely outdated. The neighborhood is extremely sketchy, so much so that I was scared to open the windows for air. The land is not manicured whatsoever. It was close to town so was easy to get to from the rodeo and again very clean and easy instructions.

Nice and Quiet

Good beds and linens. Furniture was good and working appliances. Could use some repairs to blinds in kitchen and on patio door. Quiet area and peaceful at night.

Very nice

It was a nice place with lots of room. We wanted to make food so having the kitchen was nice. We kept the doors shut in the rooms we didn’t use to help keep the house warmer. Easy to get to.
