Sabinas stuga har nyligen renoverats med fiskaren i Ätanke. FrÄn den utomhus tÀckta och upplysta rengöringsstationen till en frys med is för din fÄngst. Det finns ocksÄ en cirkulÀr uppfart med parkering och gott om utrymme för en 25 bÄt och en lastbil med lastbil! SÀtt tillbaka din bÄt bredvid vattenslangen för rengöring och spolning av din rigg. Du hittar allt du behöver för en perfekt fiske tillflyktsort. Men icke-fiskare kommer att hitta stugan en perfekt plats ocksÄ! Cozy cottage that feels homey, with a lovely view of the river and marsh. Sit on the deck and watch the egrets and boats launching while sipping coffee or a glass of wine is the epitome of relaxation. This was a much needed getaway, that didn’t disappoint. Management worked wonderfully with us as life circumstances made us reschedule and they were very accommodating.

Beautiful Place!

The cottage was lovely, everything clean, comfortable and convenient. The location was wonderful with great views of the river and lots of birds including an osprey nest. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again.

Southern Hospitality

Couldn't have asked for more. Oozing with Southern Charm, the home was impeccably clean, with super comfortable beds, and breathtaking views! The hosts were quick to respond to inquiries before and during our stay. We truly felt like we were staying with family who made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful, peaceful and clean! Love the history of the cabin and the fact that it's shared along with the Cumberland quarter ❀ Unfortunately, the biting gnats/no-see-ums arrived the day after we arrived. We couldn't fish or enjoy the outdoors without getting bit - even with spray (and I'm allergic to them). Went to Amelia Island for better restaurant selection and a change in scenery. Visited Cumberland Island one day. Will stay again after the gnats are gone.

Charming, modern house in a natural setting with great views

Crooked River CharmVRBO: 5 starsCharming, modern house in a natural setting with great views. Everything was either new or renovated. The very good and cozy condition exceeded our high expectations. We felt comfortable from the first moment. There are many merits that should be highlighted, and we name only a sample. The house is nestled under large trees and surrounded by bushes and flowers. We felt that this is the right thing for us. Inside, we found a modern kitchen and two king beds with boxspring and topper enjoyable by people with back problems. The view was awesome pointing to the river and to the marsh without buildings in the distance. We recommend this home and would love to come back.

Great place to stay

Pros: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable ,very comfortable beds, huge walk in shower with grab bars, huge tv, comfortable couches with views of the water and marsh from dining table and couches, great outside spaces, deck screened porch, glassed in porch, views,views,views, location right next to Crooked River State park with more views and nature and wonderful walking. Suggestion: down load the Cornell Bird App before arriving. The amount of birds I heard every day from this location was wonderful. Cons: had to leave !đŸ˜»this little slice of heaven exceeded our expectations 
.oh I almost forgot. The communication between the Better Stay team is off the scale!!they called to check on us the second day to see if everything was OK! So sweet!

Awesome getaway

I stayed for over 2 months for work and enjoyed every minute. Walking distance to crooked river state park. House was extremely cozy with amazing views of the river, dolphin and beautiful sunrises.

I will return

This cottage was absolutely beautiful. The instead well decorated and well stocked. It has an amazing view of the crooked river and very peaceful. The bed I slept in was very comfortable as well as the pillows. Nice huge back deck where I spent most of my time just watching nature. Gas grill worked great and even has the gas so no need to buy any. I would highly recommend this little piece of heaven. And I will be returning as there as so many things to do there that I didn’t get to do on this trip. If you want peace and tranquility, this is the place for you! Oh! And owners were quick to respond with any questions that I had prior to and during my stay.

Exactly as described. We were mesmerized by the nesting Ospreys out our back door We watched them on the television Osprey cam far more than we watched any movies or tv shows.

Thrilled

The property exceeded our expectations, the location was excellent for our hopes for this short trip, the views of the river, sunrises, sunsets, and birds were spectacular. The State Park is literally in walking distance and St. Mary's is a short and pleasant drive away. The dining in St. Mary's is very nice. We are birders and identified 46 species of birds from the cottage itself and many more in the park. Just a lovely place to leave some of this crazy world behind for a bit!.

Great place to stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sabina's Cottage. The kitchen and entire cottage were very well equipped and supplied. The living and dining area was very comfortable as were the bedrooms. The view of Crooked River was wonderful and we enjoyed spending time in the back yard. Crooked River State Park is an easy walk away and a great place to visit. The cottage is close to shopping and dining. If we visit St. Marys again, we would certainly want to stay there.

Amazing stay, wildlife, great location and accommodations

We loved our stay here. We appreciated the special welcome gift...it meant a lot to have this keepsake. Loved the osprey cam for good views even at night. We saw more bald eagles than osprey! The cranes and egrets love this place, and were never far away. We loved the proximity to the state park. Everything about the accommodations was good for us, very comfortable, plenty of spaces to spread out and relax. The screen porch was a very comfy place to relax outside, even in bad weather. Would stay here again without hesitation! Actually hoping to make it back.

Awesome Cottage on the Water

Cute, Comfortable and great location. We throughly enjoyed our short time at Sabina's cottage. We loved seeing the sunrise and enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Sabrina's cottage is the perfect get-a-way. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Shady moss laden oaks on the water and so centrally located. You are just a few minutes from St. Mary's, shops and restaurants. A short ferry ride takes you to the magic of Cumberland Island. Just an hour away you can enjoy the wonders of the Okefenokee.

What a great location, absolutely LOVED this place!

This house comes complete! We cooked every meal at the home, could have benefitted from a larger serving/plate set (we had family over for many of the meals). Pantry with odds and ends was well stocked, fridge and freezer worked well, and the washer/dryer was perfect! Super clean, charming, WARM, everything you need. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.
