Condo review

Floors were very dirty. Our feet stuck to it as we walked across. Needs a matt in the shower. Tub is quite slippery. Other than that it was a great place. Nice and quiet.

Great Stay

Beautiful location on a golf course just outside of Durango. The condo was very clean, spacious and well kept. Conveniently located to nearby towns and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

So cozy & beautiful.

Very nice, clean and well furnished. We opened the front and back doors (locking them with wood bar and key the owner leaves on a cute little key rack) & used fans for some super cold nights and cool days with the "heat wave" they were having (ha). Loved having to wear sweatshirt to drink my coffee on the back deck in the mornings & seeing deer and wild turkeys on the golf course!

Perfect spot!

The unit was beautiful! Kitchen was well-equipped. We stayed with 4. Only one real bed but there was a nice inflatable mattress and the couch looked like it pulled out. We were impressed with the pool, hot tub and sauna at the lodge. Very nice stay!

Love the area and the location sits perfectly between ski resort and town. We had small issue and the management company took care of it quick and excellent and easy to work with!

Nice place

It was very clean. Just a few issues. There is absolutely no place to put your clothes, no dressers or closet. Would be fine for a weekend but we were there for 8 days so we had a lot of clothes and living out of suitcase was frustrating. The fact that there is no AC made night time sleeping hard. We eneded up sleeping in the living room with patio door open. We had to go to the store to buy batteries for the remote on the TV and toilet paper. Just a few minor problems. It is great for a weekend getaway.

Great find in the mountains

This was a great location for two adults. It was comfortable, clean, and had a great deck. We used it as a base point to go up the mountain and also out to Mesa Verde. Would stay here again in the future.

The worst night ( Horrible beds)

To begin when we arrived, we noticed that the sofa bed that shows in the pictures was not there, I thought that it was the wrong unit at first but then I open the patio, and there it was the sofa bed, broken, no mattress and dirty from the exposure of being outside. I immediately call management and they call me back after 20 minutes with an apology for the inconvenience and to instruct me that there was an air mattress in the closet that I can use. Really? I told the manager(David) that I was not happy with the solution to the problem and he said that " unfortunately is too late today to do something" He promised he will call the next day and he never did. Honestly, I will never stay in that unit, and I do not recommend it. Sincerely, the worst two nights sleep.

Good and not so good

The views from this property are great…front and back. It’s not super close to services but I was OK with that as we went into Durango most days anyway and this place was much prettier than in town. Overall, the place is pretty nice, great kitchen appliances, tools and washing machine. Appreciated the fans to bring the cool air through the condo and the screened front door for cross breeze. Plenty of parking. There were several objections. There was supposed to be a sofa with a pull out bed in the living room. That was put out on the deck with the bed pulled up and out which looked really tacky and would have been a big problem for someone expecting to use it. Finding the office to check in was confusing and there were no location instructions in our communication. The description said it had everything one would need, but unlike most VRBOs there was no coffee (there was a coffeemaker and filters)or salt and pepper/condiments. Since we arrived late and the nearest store was 15 miles away that was a problem. Christiana at the front desk was great and gave me some coffee packets for the next morning. Lighting was terrible. Chandelier over the dining table didn’t work and there was no lighting for reading in the bedroom or living room. The shower fixtures need attention as they are loose. All bathroom fixtures could stand updating but are certainly serviceable as is. This place could be really awesome and make renters feel welcome if some of these issues were dealt with.

Great place, bad bed

The place was clean and spacious. Very nice to have amenities at the Glacier Club. (Call ahead though, because they do require reservation for hot tub. But the bed at the condo was absolutely horrendous. The mattress was old and hard. It had a foam topper that I can only describe as stale. It was tough on the edges and squishy in the middle. We had to take it off to sleep. Still, took a while to fall asleep on a rock hard bed. Overall, great stay. But bring a queen mattress topper if you can.

Anniversary Mountain getaway!

Celebrated our engagement and anniversary this trip! The condo was more than perfect for a couple of 2. Kitchen area was accommodating and we had most of everything we needed for dinner one night. The bed had a memory foam mattress topper and we actually slept great on it. Mineshaft and hot tub on property were convenient for us when we didn't want to go onto town for food and relaxing after getting bruised on the mountain. We didn't have neighbors at the time of check in and we felt secluded, especially when looking over the back balcony. We are so happy we stayed here and found this beautiful home.
