Jordbaer Hus ligger på en privat 2 tunnland trädbevuxen tomt med 160 fot strandlinje på en av de renaste sjöarna i Minnesota. Det finns gott om plats för stora familjer eller flera par.

Huvudstugan har en vacker mysig träinredning med fantastisk utsikt över sjön och den outvecklade norra änden av sjön. Huset vetter mot norr som möjliggör otrolig utsikt över solnedgången samt utsikt över soluppgången för de tidiga stigerörerna.

Huvudstugan har 3 stora bekväma sovrum och två badrum. På bottenvåningen finns ett stort kök, matsal, vardagsrum och solrum med förhöjd utsikt mot sjön. Nedervåningen har ett stort bekvämt vardagsrum. En perfekt plats att koppla av i slutet av en rolig dag eller på en regnig dag.

Bunkhouse ger ytterligare plats för en andra liten familj eller äldre barn. Den har 2 sovrum, ett komplett badrum och ett litet vardagsrum.

Sjöfronten är perfekt för avslappning och bad. Den enorma gräsgården erbjuder gott om utrymme att spela trädgårdsspel eller för att lossa barnen. Det leder till den kristallklara sjön med en sandfylld botten. Du behöver inte oroa dig för att stenar skadar dina fötter! Det finns en gradvis sluttning i sjön som ger barnen en stor grund lekplats. Det finns också utrymme att använda bryggan för att parkera din egen båt.

Relaxing place to stay for everyone

From adults to young kids there was at least something to do for anyone. Plenty of yard and house space for everyone. Nice and quiet. Well stocked with most things you will need. We went here for our family trip and everyone enjoyed it, we’re already talking about going back again next year. Highly recommended

Strawberry Lake

This is our second time staying at the property. Cabin is nice and big with lots of light. Bunk house was really nice for the extra family to use. Lake and property are both really quiet. Richmond town store is about 10 mins away and has most everything you would need. Plenty of water toys (Lilly pad, kayaks, canoes) to use in the water.

Strawberry Lake

We enjoyed the stay and Strawberry Lake was perfect for our family and little grandchildren. I few things we noticed were the ants in the kitchen, especially in the countertops. We kept as much food in the front cupboard but they seemed to always make their way back out. Of course AC would have been great! Overall we had a very pleasant stay and loved the lake!!

Family togetherness

We absolutely loved this place! The lake was beautiful, the house was cozy and comfortable, the bunkhouse was wonderful. We had 8 of us all together which included kids, grandparents, parents, and auntie. We had plenty of places to be when inside, and tons of things to do outside. Anything you could possibly need was already provided. Just show up with food and clothes and you're good to go! The views from the deck are gorgeous! The kids played in the lake for hours on end, picked water lilies in the bay (just down the shore), caught lots frogs, played on the swing set, and everyone caught a lot of great fish. But the thing they loved most was the pedal boat. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. And the property manager was excellent at communicating. We hope to return in the future.

Excellent!

You won’t be disappointed here! This place had everything. Privacy, great swimming area, garage, huge yard among many other things. There was no AC so that was kind of a bummer on the hot days but it was perfectly fine on cooler days. Kristen was super helpful when we had an issue. 10/10!!!

Great stay

Great stay for us 6 adults and 4 kids. property is as advertised- clean and well stocked. lot is huge and house and bunkhouse have lots of room.lots of water toys and games etc to do while there. communication was great. clean lake, good fishing, overall great time.

4.5 Stars! We had a wonderful time at this home on Strawberry Lake

This house has most everything you will need, or even want in a Northern Minnesota vacation home rental! Let's start with the setting. This home is located on the South side of Strawberry Lake--one of the clearest lakes I've seen in the past several years. The large lot accommodates many different "ecosystems" so to speak: You could: Hang out by the sand-bottom beach Fishing by the dock (they also have a pontoon available for rent). I caught some good fish at sunset right off the dock. Take a nap on the hammock surrounded by the canopy of trees. Have a fire in the fire pit by the bunkhouse. Our kids loved checking out the cozy bunkhouse, although nobody stayed the night in there. Run around or play lawn games in the huge, grassy backyard leading up to the beach. Rain? No worries! The owners have supplied the home with fast internet, a huge TV in the walk-out lower level and lots of board games and books. You won't get bored being inside for the day. The kitchen supplies could be a little better, for example there was no griddle (for pancakes, breakfast, etc...). This is a common thing in vacation rental properties, so if you need something like a griddle, bring it from home. There were lots of coffee filters, and a good coffee maker, however! The home was of average cleanliness, and I would say the kitchen and dining room surfaces needed an extra bit of cleaning when we got there. I get it, as it is very difficult to make a house look "perfectly" unoccupied every several days or so. Also, the gas grill was not working, but the owners were responsive about it, and let us use a charcoal grill, which was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway

This was the perfect place for our family get together. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed. What a beautiful lake. The kids all stayed in the bunkhouse and the adults stayed in the main house. We all had a fun time with the canoe, paddle board, kayaks and pedal boat. This is one of the cleanest/clearest lakes I've ever seen. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect in every way!

I concur with all the positive reviews for this property! Responsive owners were wonderful to work with, even allowed us to pick fresh vegetables from their garden patch. The little ones LOVED all the water toys. The fishing was fun. We caught plenty for a fish fry meal. Absolutely no complaints! Thank you, Kristin and Mark!

Awesome Cabin

First and foremost this cabin is awesome. As listed in some of the other reviews it does not have AC but the fans in the cabin keep it extremely cool. You do have neighbors on both sides of you but only one you can really see if you are in the front yard. If you are big into TV they have one large flat screen in the basement and that is it (which was perfect for us since we were outside most of the time). Water was 76 degrees when we were here in the middle of August. Overall Kristin is awesome she texted me upon arrival and made sure we were okay as a bad storm came through. We will for sure be back,

Beautiful view with big yard

We had a big group of 10 friends that all play hockey together that do an annual trip. This house was the perfect spot for us to fish, play yard games, grill out. The lake water is very clear One of the owners stopped by very nice gentleman. Only suggestion would be to move the fire pit from the backyard to the front yard so you get the Lakeview.

Outstanding family lake home!

The space for multiple families to share a fun time was the big draw along with all the lake toys. Great Lake for all ages! Many essential items provided to eliminate hauling. KClean and clear water to play and float. Bunk house a hit with grandchildren. Owners easy to work with and responsive to all questions.

Strawberry Lake home

This is a really special place to share with your family. The grounds are kept well & they offer all the things needed for water activities. The view of the lake is really lovely & you can watch the sun rise & set off the patio. The bunkhouse is rustic. Fantastic getaway from the city. Very much appreciated.

Excellent location/amenities/experience

My wife and our three teenage kids stayed for a short week in early July. Amenities: - the lake was fantastic from a recreation stand point. Excellent swimming, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and general enjoyment. The fishing was lackluster but that certainly could have been us or the time of year. - the cabin was clean, supplied with what we needed and very comfortable. It doesn't have A/C but we had plenty of fans to keep us cool. - the kayak, paddle boards and canoe were well used and welcome. - the dock was sufficient for our 18' Lund. Location - the cabin is 30 miles from DL and 40+ from Park Rapids. Not a deterrent but just know it's a bit of a trip if you need supplies. - we especially appreciated driving to Itasca State Park for a day bike trip to the headwaters. Hosts - very attentive to any questions we had and from everything I experienced, simply wonderful! Overall we would highly recommend this location and had a fabulous time!

We grew up going to Strawberry lake and it is a special place for our entire family. The U.S. Navy has taken us around the world. However, we decided to put "roots" down at Strawberry Lake because it is a place we always look forward to coming back to.
