Great location !!!

Larry & Judy's ( Excellent hosts ) casita is located on a quiet residential street. There are abundant services within walking or short driving distance within a mile or 2 .Many great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping centers. Many running trails near the Casita and hiking and running trails at nearby McDowell Sonoran Preserve.Relaxing out on the patio listening to the birds (without hearing doors banging like in the hotels ) or playing mini golf on the property.Will definitely stay at the Casita again. Larry and Judy, see your guys soon !Thank you for the enjoyable stay !Kenneth

Great location!. Great hosts!

Our first time to Scottsdale. Great neighborhood. Quiet and safe. Perfect location for exploring surrounding areas. Old town Scottsdale and Phoenix.Lots of grocery stores within a 3 mile radius. Larry & Judy are wonderful hosts. This guesthouse is attached to their home so they are right there if you have any Q’s or need anything. We got into town earlier than anticipated and they let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. Thank you! Pride of ownership shows in this place. Ask Judy about her artwork! She’s a painter. She did the artwork in the guesthouse. She has many things for sale too. If you are into art don’t bother with The Contemporary Art Museum in Scottsdale. It’s very small and disappointing. However Judy Judy told us about a very prominent “tent” art show going on while we were there that we had known about. Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Scottsdale.

Perfect Scottsdale Casita

This property could not have been be more perfect for my trip to visit my daughter who lives nearby. The casita is just as pictured with everything you need during your stay. The quality of the kitchen utensils, dishes and linens (bath & bed) are better than many I've seen in the past year of rentals. The owners, who are fabulous BTW, care for and furnish this property as though they live there themselves. I also enjoyed the outdoor patio area to soak up some vitamin D each morning. Don't miss this Scottsdale Casita.

Very comfortable and conveniently located

Great place to stay

A quick Spring Training weekend

This property was perfect for a nice quiet location near the ballparks. The bed was very comfortable, lots of nice towels and a kitchenette with everything you need. We would definitely come back.

It is easy to see why Larry and Judy are listed as premier hosts. They are very friendly and most accommodating. They really try to make their guests feel like the casita is a home away from home. They are quick to respond to any concerns that may arise and are knowledgeable about the metroplex. When you are looking for a place to stay while in Phoenix area, this is a place you should check out. The facility is neat, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. It has ample equipment and enough supplies needed for a few days or a few weeks. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and has easy access to major streets and highways. Shopping for groceries, gas and other essentials is proximate. There are two shopping centers and several restaurants in the area. The private entrance, courtyard and front door parking are real assets.

A gem of a Casita

My wife and I just returned from a 6-day golf trip and were blessed to have found Judy and Larry’s Casita. The multiple positive previous reviews continue to hold true. The rental was a perfect size for the two of us. While I know bed firmness is highly subjective personal preference, I still have to say this was the most comfortable bed we’ve come across after many years of many rentals. We also enjoyed and truly appreciated the displayed artwork (be sure to check out the artist’s signature when you visit)! Thank you Judy and Larry for the hospitality!

Cute casita!

This is a beautiful, contemporary casita accented by the host's amazing artwork. The kitchen was well supplied, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the entire house spotlessly clean. Larry and Judy are kind and helpful hosts making this a perfect stay.

Hate to give such praise

This very comfortable property in a great location, quiet, easy access to everything and th hosts were wonderful. But when we share that, it gets booked up for our next trip. But the owners deserve a great review because the property is ideal for 2. Friendly and accommodating. We will be back!!

Home Away FromHome

The facility is located on a quiet street with various types of shopping near by as well as quick access to major streets and highways. It has comfortable furnishings and is tastefully decorated . The private entrance and patio are a real plus. The owners are super hosts. They are friendly and accommodating. Since they live on the premises, response to guests’ questions and concerns is quickly provided. They have tried to anticipate what guests may need and have supplied many amenities.

Lovely and On Point

Lovely casita attached to the main house on the other side of the house garage. Well appointed with all major appliances, two televisions, and all just very nice. The description of the rental was / is definitely On Point. Fine neighborhood indeed.

Cozy casita.

We loved our stay at Judy and Larry's casita in Scottsdale. The one bedroom apartment was very nicely furnished and the bed was comfy. Lots of linens available and pillows to choose from. The washer/dryer came in handy for our 18 night stay. The kitchen is well equipped so we were able to eat in. But, eating out was fun with so many restaurants nearby. Grocery stores nearby, too. Loved the private patio which was perfect for morning coffee. Nice neighborhood where we took evening walks. It's nearby to the Mayo Clinic, which was our reason for traveling here in the first place. But we have discovered Phoenix/Scottsdale and highly recommend visiting. Especially the Musical Instruments Museum, the Heard and Taliesin West. We hope to return to the casita on our next visit! Thanks again, Judy and Larry

Enjoyable Winter Getaway

I recently stayed a month at this property. Larry and Judy were super hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them and their dogs. They were very attentive to any questions or concerns that I may have had. The Casita is located on a quiet neighborhood street which is close to shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Also, it is in proximity to major highways for traveling to other parts of the metroplex and State attractions. In addition to being very clean and comfortable, it is stylishly decorated and furnished. There were ample appliances, dishes, utensils, and supplies to accommodate guests in travel mode. The private entrance, close onsite parking and patio are a plus. Larry and Judy have earnestly tried to anticipate, supply, and respond to needs that make guests feel at home. As a result, I will definitely be staying there again.

Great Place

We can't say enough wonderful things about this property. Lawrence and Judi were very easy to work with from booking all the way through our stay. The location of this property was perfect for us. We spent a week exploring Scottsdale and its surrounding areas and found this location to be very centrally located to just about everywhere we wanted to go. It's very close to a grocery store which was a plus for us. The apartment itself was perfect. Very comfortable bed & pillows, plenty of linens, comfortable living room space with access to Roku television so we could watch anything we wanted, great bathroom space. The listing pictures are true to life. The kitchen was well appointed. We had everything we needed to make our own breakfasts (we ate all other meals out). The patio area was wonderful and comfy, although it was pretty chilly while we were there and it didn't get much sun but I expect any other time of the year it would be perfect for sitting outside. Judi came over our first day to introduce herself and gave us some good tips on places to visit. The neighborhood was super quiet and very residential. There was plenty of parking space in the driveway for our rental. We had no issues while we were there, but I expect if we had, Judi and Lawrence would have been right on it! We would definitely stay here again when we visit Phoenix next. Thanks Lawrence and Judi for sharing our space with us making for a perfect vacation!

Beautiful Apartment in a great Area

We really enjoyed our stay in Judy and Larry's Casita. It is a lovely property in a great neighborhood and Judy and Larry were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed meeting the dogs as well :) The apartment is clean and well stocked with eveything you could want. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Lovely place, lovely hosts, great location

We had a long stay (about one month) due to medical needs. This apartment was in the perfect location for us, only 2.5 miles from the Mayo Clinic/Phoenix. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating as well as enjoyable to visit with; I regret not having had much time for that. The apartment has everything we needed for such a long stay. I hope we don't continue to need to travel for medical reasons, but if we ever have to spend time at Mayo again we would certainly return to this place!
