A wonderful retreat in Narbonne

A spacious house with an enchanted garden with large trees, among those a lemon tree, great to relax. Excellent location also with respect of public transport to other cities as well as to the beach and close to city center. Easy communication with the owners. We spent a wonderful week with 4 (partly 8) people in the house.

Compared with the property we had just left, this house was shabby and poorly equipped.

Villa Limon was an adequate base to explore the area with a bus stop round the corner and near to the railway station. Sadly there were few creature comforts and no instructions about rubbish etc.

Gut gelegene Unterkunft in Narbonne

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, der Kontakt problemlos. Das Gebäude ist sauber, hat 4 Schlafzimmer auf 2 Ebenen, 2 Küchen und 2 Badezimmer. Man kann sich also gut treffen oder ein bisschen aus dem Weg gehen. Der Garten ist schön und schattig, der Balkon eher sonnig. Als wir da waren, blühte die wunderschöne Blasenesche. Da waren dann auch viele Bienen, die sehr friedlich waren, aber auch viel auf dem Boden laufen. Die Vermieter haben uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht und mit Schuhen / Schlappen war alles kein Problem. Nur mit Baby oder Hund oder für Allergiker gut zu wissen. Es gibt eine Bäckerei um die Ecke, ebenso ein kleiner Supermarkt. Man kann fußläufig in die Stadt kommen und mit dem Auto ist man in 20 Minuten am Strand. Es gibt viele tolle Strände in der Gegend. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt.

Schönes Haus am Rande der Altstadt

Wir haben 2 sehr schöne Wochen in Narbonne verbracht. Insbesondere die Nähe zur Innenstadt und zum historischen Zentrum hat uns gefallen. Der kleine Garten ist wirklich schön. Vermieter Philippe hat uns auch gleich am Ankunftstag mit guten Tipps versorgt. Etwas störend ist der nahe Bahnhof.

Viel Platz, gut ausgestattet, wunderschöner Garten

Wir waren für 1Woche Ende Juli/ Anfang August 2018 in der Villa. Die Kommunikation verlief einfach und wir sind sehr nett empfangen worden. Die Villa bietet viel Platz und hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Die Ausstattung ist gut und wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Bestimmt werden wir wieder kommen, allerdings vermutlich eher Pfingsten oder in der Nachsaison, da uns 37 Grad zu heiss waren. Die Villa war sehr sauber und ist hübsch eingerichtet. Internet verfügbar. Vielen Dank, wir haben die Woche in der Villa sehr genossen!

Ein Haus zum Entspannen

Wir würden dieses Haus mit dem wunderschönen Garten immer wieder buchen. Auch die freundliche Begrüssung und die vielen Tips von Phillipe haben uns sehr gefallen und zu einem schönen Urlaub verholfen.

En plein centre, la villa dispose d'un jardin fleuri où il fait bon se reposer

Une grande maison où chacun peut se reposer. Nous avons mangé dehors midi et soir à l'ombre du grand acacias. A proximité de plusieurs plages de sable fin. Une région qui reste sauvage même en été.

belle maison bien située

Nous avons apprécié la situation de la maison, proche du centre ville et de la gare ; on peut tout faire à pied et c'est vraiment bien. La villa est grande et on ne se marche pas dessus et ça c'est appréciable lorsqu'on vient à plusieurs. Les propriétaires n'ont pas lésiné sur la quantité de linge de maison ; il y vraiment de quoi faire. Nous avons également pu profiter de la terrasse extérieure (grande table avec parasol et chaises de jardin au moins pour 10 personnes). Le propriétaire que nous avons pu rencontrer est sympathique et nous a fait savoir qu'il envisageait d'installer un lave-vaisselle (un plus pour la villa ce qui n'est pas négligeable). Au final, nous avons apprécié notre séjour où nous avons pu nous retrouver en famille.

The property is nice in a good location and has all the facilities one would ever need.

My wife and I and our three daughters stayed here for 10 days in August. We enjoyed our stay very much. There is a nice bakery conveniently located round the corner and Narbonne centre is a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of places to eat there. Had warm good weather for the duration, and nice breezes in the evenings to help cool you down. The house was a good base to come back to after visiting different areas. It's quaint looking inside but comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is nice although we didn't use it. There are 2 large shopping centres near the property for fuel and groceries. We used the Carrefour, which was the biggest. My kids made good use of the wifi in the evening! I would recommend the property to others...

Excellent House With Lovely Garden

Villa Limon was an excellent base for our June visit to Narbonne for two weeks. Three of us travelled to Narbonne via Eurostar and the TGV whilst the fourth member of our party flew to Béziers and then took the train to Narbonne. The house is in a good location on a quiet street just 5-10 minutes walk from the both the railway station and the bus stop for buses to the beaches. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into the town centre and to Les Halles (The indoor food market). If you need to hire a car then there is a Europcar between the house and the station. The house is spacious and airy with large bedrooms. There is a plentiful suppy of towels and bed linen. Both kitchens have a good range of equipment, crockery, glasses etc. The upstairs lounge and dining room has french windows leading onto the terrace as does one of the bedrooms. The large upstairs bathroom is off one of the bedrooms. The terrace and garden both face south west so are very sunny. There are deck chairs on the terrace. The walled garden is great and is perhaps the houses nicest feature. It is both sunny, sheltered and private, an oasis. Excellent for evening meals and drinks. There are a variety of plants and trees - including a lemon tree. So, there is shade too if you need it. The downstairs kitchen and one of the downstairs bedrooms both have french windows leading into the garden. Philippe was very helpful in giving us information and recommendations. There is Le Moulin Boulangerie Patisserie five minutes walk away. For wine the Cave de l'Amphore. Also, there is a Petit Casino Supermarket on Boulevard de 1848. David, Marie, Fiona and Martin from the UK.

Lovely house and great location!

We have just spent 2 weeks in Villa Limon in April and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was so homely, clean and comfortable (especially the bed - we slept like logs!). There was plenty of space and it was well equipped. The terrace was lovely to sit in at night with a glass of wine, and also the sheltered garden, which our dogs liked to potter around. The house was within easy walking distance of the centre of Narbonne. I would thoroughy recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable house in Narbonne. Also the hosts Philippe an Magali were very welcoming. If we come back to Narbonne we will be definitely booking Villa Limon. Lovely patisserie nearby - go out the house turn left, then right, past the first patisserie, then on to the patisserie on a junction. Very good. On past that is a vet if needed. We needed it for one of our dogs who hurt his paw, and they were good. All the very best to Philippe and Magali and thanks very mcuh. Bertha & Ged - Edinburgh, Scotland.
