Amazing place and host

We stayed at this amazing place one week this summer, the location is fantastic right in the middle of town with a nice view overlooking the harbor. Host Alessandro was very helpful and gave us a lot of suggestions of what to do, see and where to eat. We can recommend this apartment to everyone that wants to have a superb Ligurian vacation. Fantastic area and position

So lucky with our weather in this wonderful area. The apartment is in “ pole position “ for everything- beaches, boats, restaurants and sea views. Our host was super helpful and very kind to us on a late check in (delayed flight!) and check out too. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful, comfortable apartment. That view is real! Good bed, washing machine and the A/C is a huge plus during the hot summer days. Helps you get some restful sleep. Owner went above and beyond. Incredibly helpful.

Excellent location

There was so much to see right outside our window—the beautiful scene of the boats in the marina and beyond, people dining in the outdoor restaurants, and the mountains across the sea. It was so conveniently close to the beaches, the tour boats, many restaurants, groceries — all within a five minute walk.

Lovely apartment

I think the bathroom needs some work .. the shower was moldy and there were a lot of steps up to apartment.. not good for luggage and we had come from a big trip. No taxi was around to take us so it was a very long walk on the heat. Maybe more directions would help

Apartment living like a local

This apartment is as delightful as it appears in the listing. We stayed for 12 days and had everything we needed to cook, rest and explore the stunning location. Visit the beach at Paraggi, walk to luxe Portofino or take the train to any nearby Ligurian town to soak up the sunshine and the crystal blue ocean. The apartment is a cozy place to rest before your next daily adventure. Situated directly above the bustling seaside strip, open the windows for ocean breeze and to feel a part of it, or close the windows for a quiet oasis. Air Conditioning in the bedroom helps for a comfortable sleep. We would highly recommend this lovely rustic abode if you are looking to stay for a stretch in idyllic Santa Margherita.

Relaxing Holiday

We spent a very relaxing week in Santa Margerita Ligure. The property is very charming and ideally located. Our view was perfect!! Alessandro was warm and welcoming. He was highly responsive and extremely helpful during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in SML.

Amazing authentic place! The view from the apartment is so beautiful. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and very well equipped with everything you might need. The location is perfect. The host was helpful and responsive. Can not wait to be back.

Great stay

Super location. Great resto tips from welcoming host. We had one lost piece of luggage that needed to catch up to us and Alessandro was a great intermediary. If you have mobility issues due to stairs this is not for you but otherwise highly recommended.

Best apartment in Liguria

Santa is the jewel of the coast and this apartment is in the best location to experience it all. Opposite the beautiful marina, this spacious one bedroom unit is immaculately appointed to provide the perfect stay. Alessandro, the host, is very good with all communications, and excellent with restaurant recommendations. We had the best stay in Santa.

Yep, it’s even better than the photo.

We thought that Santa Margherita would just be the hub for visiting the Cinque Terre and Positano, but it became our favorite spot. There’s a relaxed vibe, much smaller crowds, fun and friendly people and GREAT food (Angolo 48, anyone?) The apartment’s location is perfect and the stairs are not a problem once you get the luggage up ( and we are 67 .) The washing machine was an added perk! Thank you so much, Alessandro, for sharing your wonderful place!

Sehr netter Vermieter, unkomplizierter Abwicklung vor Ort. Tolle Organisation des Parkplatzes im Parkhaus. Die Lage ist sehr zentral zum Strand und den Geschäften, Lokalen, Bäcker etc. Sehr schöne Gegend. Jederzeit wieder.

Der Aufenthalt in Santa Margherita war grösstenteils sehr gut. Die Lage und der Ort selber sind wunderbar. Der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Schlaf war etwas gestört durch die sehr laute Klimaanlage. Mit offenen Fenster kann man aufgrund der Lage inmitten des Zentrums nicht. Wir empfehlen Ohrenstöpsel. Ansonsten hat es uns gut gefallen.

Cleanliness let it down

We booked as we wanted to do self catering. Unfortunately the fridge was dirty had not been cleaned, microwave was filthy unable to use no kettle no oven. Hob was difficult to light. Shower grouting black with mould. Toilet door does not close whole toilet/shower room extremely dusty and not cleaned properly. This had an impact on our holiday as we had to eat out every day instead of being able to cook. By the second night the towel rail came loose and toilet seat very slack and came loose we did report both these things which were acknowledged but not repaired during our stay. Therefore saw no point mentioning the cleanliness to the host as who need confrontation when on holiday. The flat does provide lovely views and is central to everything but is tired. We did take photographs should evidence be required.

Magical view of magnificent Santa Margherita

You will love this place and the best view of Santa Margherita. Comfy bright living room, full kitchen and spacious bedroom. One of the best deals in the Riviera since Santa Margherita is breathtakingly beautiful, central to visit Positano and the Abbey San Fruttusso (gorgeous) via short ferry ride. So fun to have a yummy cappuccino and gelato just downstairs every morning and people watch. A must do is the easy beautiful walk to Positano along the water the entire way. You will love this town and especially Alessandro's place. He will meet you for check in and is very kind and accommodating.

Amazing location

This location was perfect. Very close to downtown Santa Margherita Ligure, and only a 15-min bus ride (~1 hour walk) to Portofino. Extremely scenic area. The apartment gave a beautiful look of the sea and was only a few minutes’ walk from great food. Highly recommended!
