Awesome VRBO!

We had a wonderful stay at the Castroville Modern Farm House! The house was spotless, kitchen is fully stocked, and beds are very comfortable! My kids already want to go back!

Our Texas Home

In the words of my three-year-old, we loved our new Texas home! This is our third stay and we enjoy it every single time. Everything our family could need away from home is provided. It is a great location to everything in Castroville. We enjoy staying here when we come out to visit family and hope to be back soon!

Farm House Close to Hoffman Ranch

We were in town for a wedding at Hoffman Ranch. The house is literally less than 5 minutes away. The house was very cozy and provided all the necessities needed for our stay. We even saw some deer and rabbits! One item of note is that the master king bed is pretty high, so if you have issues getting into a high bed, you may want to bring a step stool for safety. The owners were easy to communicate with for the rental. We would definitely rent again!

Peaceful and out of the way

There are a good number of rules for this house, but it's honestly one of the favorite places I've been to via VRBO. Weather was 105+ and the AC kept up with it. Comfortable master bed, no complaints from family on the rest of the beds. A good way from the noise of San Antonio, but just 5 minutes away from WalMart and everything you'd need for a stay. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if we're in the area.

Beautiful Home To Make You Feel At Home

What a gem of a place. Clean, quiet, gorgeous home with everything you could need. There were 6 of us that shared this home while attending our son's wedding at Hoffman Ranch. SO much better than getting motels. We were able to prepare our own food and have meals around the table together, hang out and chat in the comfy living room when we weren't attending wedding shenaningans, and come back and sleep like a log in the comfy beds. Seriously don't think twice about renting this awesome place. Thanks so much!!

Relaxing Retreat

We chose this property for my son’s 17th birthday celebration weekend. The four of us were able to stay close to my in-laws. And the kids enjoyed the change in virtual learning atmosphere. The two had fun hanging out outside during the day and studied well/comfortably inside at night. Win. Win! Our host made us feel welcome! Hope to return soon! Already wishing opening weekend was available. 😫

My family along with another couple booked this home and we were all happy with our decision. I have a 7yo and 10mo. Open floor concept and very clean. I had no worries of my crawler getting into anything she shouldn’t. The privacy is a compliment on its own, but the house is beautiful. I plant to take my young family on a Seaworld trip this summer & would boom this listing again. No complaints from my party. Thank you to the Young’s for letting us stay.

Beautiful, peaceful and all that you’d need or want.

The modern farmhouse is everything that Michelle, the owner, described and more. The location is slightly remote (enough) but not so that you can’t get what you need in about 10 minutes. The house is beautiful, totally renovated, well-designed, well-outfitted, and there for the enjoyment of the guests. Michelle thoughtfully set up each area and you will lack nothing. The bathrooms & the kitchen have all needed amenities. The appliances are new and top notch. You’ll be thrilled to sleep in their very comfortable beds and bedding and the land itself is well maintained and so serene. I highly recommend you stay at the modern ranch. You won’t regret it and I’m a seasoned HomeAway traveler with high expectations and standards., This was a true delight for my husband and I and our two young adults, son and daughter.. Happy New Year Michelle and Garrett! Hoping 2020 brings you continued success at your ranch.
