There was enough space to spread out. Beds were comfortable. Liked having AC units in each bedroom but wonder if it added to the humidity in the rooms. Pool was clean and well kept but the 4 little kids got rashes from the chlorine. Owner worked at lowering the level of chlorine but kids rashes didn’t go away. Liked having 2 kitchens but wish it had laundry on site.

Wonder Stay

Very comfortable and homey with room for everyone. All needs were met by the well stocked home. The host was very easy to work with and the home was centrally located to everywhere we needed to be.

Weekend on Long Island

The Great Times house was just as expected. It's a standard Long Island suburban house. It's not a big house, but it had plenty of room for our group. It's very clean, and well equipped. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and if you forgot something, there's a Walmart Supercenter just up the street.

Nice stay

We had a good stay at the house. It's in a residential neighborhood and close to some commercial areas with restaurants etc. The house was very clean and the property manager was great - she went above and beyond to find and return something that we left behind. The upstairs beds were a little hard. We were there with 7 people and the main living area felt a little crowded. With more people, you'd want to make sure you were using the downstairs/outside (in the summer). But all in all, a good stay

Great location and comfortable home

10 of us (8 adults and 2 kids) stayed for a family wedding. Great location, wonderful to have the pool, lots of seating outside on the deck! Kitchen could use a few more storage containers and cooking utensils. Thanks for the great accommodations!

The house was exactly as the listing

As this was my 1st time using Vrbo, it was a wonderful experience. The host was very prompt in answering my questions. The house was very accommodating to my young family. The furniture was very easy to clean up after little ones as was flooring but saying this the house was very comfortable. Nice back yard to sit outside. We would look into staying here again. And a huge shout out to the cleaning crew for finding my son's wedding band and chain and host for making a pickup possible. Wish I could give more stars.

Excellent stay

Beautiful little house that includes anything you could need, with plenty of room and spaces to relax. Super easy check-in process with no delays or anything. If I was to return to LI, I would def return here!

Nice family home

This home was very nice, with plenty of beds for all of our group. Well-supplied kitchen and plenty of room for our family. The host was very helpful and responded quickly.

Visiting long Island

It was a nice house. The pool was awesome. The main level bathroom was good but the basement bathroom was not as nice. The “master bedroom mattress was in desperate need of replacement. My husband and I had to try to sleep on the edge of the mattress in order to sleep at all. My husband’s back has been giving him trouble since the trip. However, the adult kiddos said their beds were good. There is plenty of space for 15 people however there were not enough towels for the 11 we had. There is no washer and dryer at the house for guests so you have to go to a laundry mat to wash them. We did tell the manager and he was kind enough to supply more towels. It would be a much better experience if there was a washer and dryer for guests. We really liked how easy it was to get in and out of the house through the keypad. The kitchen was nice. The AC units work well! Being from LI I would rent this house again when visiting family but wouldn’t consider this a vacation home.

Worked well for us

All in all the property worked well for us. The location was key as it was right near family we were visiting. The pool was phenomenal and worked great for our kids, and the caretaker for the property was very responsive. The only negative for us was that they did not offer a washer and dryer, which I didn’t realize initially. With 4 small kids, and only a week’s worth of clothes for a 2 week trip, this was a bit of an inconvenience. They also did not offer pool towels. So we were using the bath towels for both pool and bath until we went and bought some beach towels from Target. But, other than that, the property was clean, comfortable and worked out just fine.

Well stocked, comfortable home

Nice little home, perfect for a short stay to visit family in the area. Well appointed, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of space for our family of 7. Very close to train to travel easily into NYC.

Not Recommended for Seniors

Overall our stay was decent. There is ample room for quite a few people, but the basement isn't really usable. There is a musky, moldy smell and after one night of staying down there decided I would rather be upstairs without a bathroom. If you have young kids I am sure the basement and upstairs area would work well, but the lack of a bathroom upstairs was difficult for us. I would not recommend staying here if you have mobility issues or older people staying with you. There weren't enough basic supplies in the house for the length of our stay, but the property manager Naydee came over to rectify the issue.

Great location in Long island

very close to family and that was important as we came to spend time with family. Naydee was there for us from the moment we arrived and addressed the few concerns we had. I wish we came a little later so we could have enjoyed the pool but would have missed an important Mother's Day and that was more important. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer available to use but overall, beds, linens space was very comfortable. Heat and water pressure was very good.

Spacious and comfortable

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We had many options for where everyone was going to sleep and the basement apartment was incredibly spacious! All of the basic kitchen and bathroom essentials were provided as Naydee was very responsive when I sent her a message. We would definitely consider returning in the future.
