Perfect Vacation Spot

We loved our stay at Secret Splash. The house is well-equipped and nicely furnished. The beds very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The best part is the lovely backyard with the pool and garden area. We have stayed in the area before and this is a great location to get to the beaches and store.

Beautiful place to stay

The house was absolutely amazing! It has everything you could possibly need for your stay! We loved that there were beach chairs, sand toys, coolers and an umbrella for us to use on the beach! The pool was very clean and well maintained. It was in a great location with minimal noise! It was a wonderful place to relax!

The house had what you need to enjoy a stay, however what I booked online and what we got were different. We had no base cabinets, found a massive cockroach in the kitchen the first morning, had algae all over the pool… it was not cleaned. The house also had an old smell. Not one that had just been cleaned. The final straw was when my husband saw the neighbors sneaking out of the pool/backyard when he came home at night. Really?! It did have all of the fun stuff for your enjoyment to the beach. We unfortunately only spent one day there due to this stuff and only slept 4 of 5 nights there. We checked out early because of Vacasa property giving no responses. I called them 4 times and spoke with a person but no help. I thought I was booking with VRBO and actual owners/managers which has always been perfect to work with. Vacasa is not attentive or timely. This was the worst stay we’ve had.

Secret Splash is a Splash!!

The home is exactly as pictured. It had everything we could think of from stocked kitchen dishes, pool floats, 3 bikes, etc.. We most enjoyed having direct access to the pool. We chose to heat it (January). We could bike around the neighborhood. Connor Park is 1.5 miles and Vanderbilt Beach parking garage is 1.7 miles. We would book again.

Nice Thanksgiving Stay

We really enjoyed this home! It was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice to have as well. The house has plenty of bath and beach towels which was perfect. We love the Naples Park area so this house was perfect and close to restaurants and stores.

Clean & Comfortable Stay

The house was very clean and was comfortable both inside and out. The home has been nicely updated. The kitchen could use some more cooking utensils and storage containers. 2 of the 3 bikes had flat tires and would not hold air, so they were not usable. I did let management know late in the week, so hopefully this will be corrected for the next guest. Overall, I would recommend this place.

A great getaway from gloomy UK

Sadly after hurricane Ian it wasn't possible to go to the beaches. For the children this was a disappointment. However they did make good use of the swimming pool!

4 day stay

Stayed @ the secret splash, location was good , pool was real nice , lots of room nice size home, neighborhood was quiet. They are renovating the house next door but they were quiet. There is a shopping center about 7 blocks called Mercato that has a lot of restuarants & shops. Downtown 5th ave & tin city is about 9 miles away. Vanderbilt beach is about 1/2 mile. The only thing make sure to bring your toiletries they only supply hand soap. All in all a nice place to stay.

Secret Splash Review

The place was very clean, with the exceptions of a few things. Neighborhood was quiet and we all felt safe. A few things to mention: two propane tanks empty upon arrival, umbrella would not open (even after following directions), drains in shower/tub very slow, and 5 windows were open/not locked upon arrival. Everything else was amazing. I only share these small issues so you are aware. We would definitely come back.

Location

We enjoyed our month long stay at this home. It’s quiet neighborhood and location were pluses. We bought kitchen towels as there was only one to use. Bring your own knives to cut. Kitchen could use a larger skillet. Some issues were addressed the next day and others were ignored like the freezer and TV functioning in each room. We enjoyed the pool and despite the inconveniences listed were very happy with our stay.

Late summer vacation

Upon arrival I notice that there was a damaged sun lounge chair at the road for trash pickup. When I went out to the pool, there were not any sun lounge chairs as shown in the pictures. I contacted the booking agent and at 8:30 am the following morning a nice women delivered two new lounge chairs. Very nice. A few i things the rental could use: All three bicycles had very low air in the tires and the pump did not work. One tire eventually went flat. There are not any handrails at the pool stairs. The ladder out of the pool gets very hot in the sun. Difficult to grasp. Needs grips installed. There was a lack of cleaning products. No first aid kit. Only one smoke detector in the entire house. Two had been removed in two of bedrooms. Both of these last two items are not code compliant. It would be nice to have some reusable ice packs for the cooler and some Tupperware to pack food for the beach. The house is nice, and the pool was lovely. Very quiet area close to everything. We had a nice stay. The blue chairs in the living room look okay, but are comfortable at all.

Nice place

Very nice place, close to the beach and very quiet neighborhood, my only suggestion is to fix the damages part on the back yard fence, other than that house was very clean, as well the sheets and towels, and the pool was amazing . I will definitely come back again.
