This cabin was wonderful for our family of four. We were visiting family in San Marcos and used this cabin as a place to stay that was close. It’s well decorated, cozy and in the absolute perfect location! If you like being secluded, this is the place for you. There is a house close by but you can’t see them.

50 Birthday celebration

This is our second time staying at this lovely cabin & property. The view is absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed most of our time out on the porch looking over the valley, having coffee , lunch , birdwatching, enjoing the hot tub … we did see a fox! Very relaxing.. the cabin is beautiful, clean, cozy and well stocked. There was one negative…on our first day stay when we arrived between 430 -5 there was a wedding going on very nearby, I believe at the Rimrock Lodge? which was quite loud and went on until about 11 pm , which takes away from the whole “getting away” feeling so I suggest & will myself check to make sure there is no wedding going on before I stay here again..

Perfection!

This home was possibly one of the best we have ever rented. For a long weekend for two Ladies, everything we needed was included, and then some. All details were accounted for which made it very easy for our stay. The view was also one of the major selling points for us. While it was cloudy during our stay, you still couldn’t beat the patio and the view. The proximity to Wimberley plaza also was very easy for daily shopping or dining. We will definitely be back to the area and this home would be our #1 preference.

Wonderful getaway

It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Everything from the cabin to the area was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about it. The views were amazing and the hot tub added that much more. I loved the quaintness and detail of the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable which made for a great nights sleep. We will definitely be back !

Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Cedar Vista! The cabin had everything we could have asked for: privacy, an awesome view, a hot tub, and an easy drive to Wimberley, PLUS all the comforts of a home. We would definitely return!

Great get away!!

Everything was as described- teens had fun- horseshoes out back, grilled on gas grill, hot tub was nice and loved the peacefulness- close to Wimberly and San Marcos and Schlitterbahn

Peaceful Property

A great location just minutes from Wimberley. This log cabin is a great place to get away and enjoy restful peace and quiet. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck while watching birds gliding through the hills and valleys just beyond. The hot tub was relaxing as well. There are two other properties near by but you couldn’t tell, we felt as if we were the only ones there. Definitely high on our places to return to!

Great Relaxing Time

Spring break 2024

Beautiful house, amazing views, great location; wished kitchen had additional plugs for appliances and better lighting over dining table (for games) but being picky. Great choice---highly recommend!
