Excellent Getaway!!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house felt like home. It was well stocked, with everything you could need for the pool and beach. The kids loved the pool. The private beach was a short walk away, and the beach wagon was very helpful in transporting sand toys, chairs (all provided). Highly recommend a stay!!

Great rental home

This house worked out great for a family vacation - its location was convenient for day trips and activities, and with a pool easy beach access our kids were easily able to have a lot of fun during our stay.

Great Xmas vacation

Nice house- great location

House was nice with nice pool area and comfortable bed. Nice touches included all appliances or cookware that you would need for cooking meals there. Location was excellent- just a short walk to the beach access and very quiet street.

Amazing house and location

The house is amazing and has everything you could possibly need. The pool is fantastic but the main feature of this house is the location just 1 street from the private beach. We had the perfect family holiday

Escape in paradise

It was our second time here, so knew what to expect and was not disappointed. Colleen, the house, the beautiful neighborhood, the convenient beach access and great weather made for a wonderful stay. Hope to be back next year.

Wonderful Beach-Home

My family had a great time at this beautiful home. Colleen was super great and very friendly. Home was clean and well appointed. Pool was great. The private beach is just a short walk away. We almost had the beach to ourselves the entire week. Everyone in my family would love to stay here again.

Lovely

This house was in a perfect location. The beach was a block away. Walked the dog on the beach everyday. The owner was great! She responded promptly and any problems she took care of immediately. Definitely would book again.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed staying in this home. The home was great and well appointed. We had everything we needed for fun in the pool and at the beach. The wagon for pulling beach stuff was priceless. We all enjoyed riding the bikes around the neighborhood, especially the tandem bike. Vero was a very nice clean and quiet beach town. We enjoyed our stay greatly.

Beautiful, clean, and relaxing!

Colleen is hostess of the year! She’s wonderful to work with and so gracious and accommodating. Her property is perfect for a family vacation and well appointed for all needs. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach every day. There are pool/beach toys available, plenty of beach towels, games and puzzles for rainy days, and plenty of kitchen items. We loved our stay and are looking forward to a return visit.

Location, location, location…

This lovely three bedroom two bath pool home, located one block from the beach offers a tropical retreat. Enjoy ocean breezes and long walks on the beach. For those who like boutique shopping, the island stores are just a short car or bike ride away. There are plenty of upscale restaurants available to satisfy discriminatory palates. The nearby Riverside Theater offers a wide array of venues. This home offers easy access to all that Vero has to offer.

Family vacation

This property was everything we could have asked for in the perfect vacation rental. Beautiful home and property, quick walk to the beach and wonderful location. There was 7 of us and we had more than enough room. Colleen is a wonderful hostess and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property and hostess and would most assuredly rent again. My only complaint is the Queen and full beds were a bit hard but we were so tired from all the fun it didn’t really bother us.

A great week in Vero

This was one of our several visits to Vero Beach. Each time we have stayed in various homes. This home was exceptional. The pool area was delightful with plenty of space available for seating. The home is a very short walk to a wide, gradually sloping beach. The Moorings have a very nice cabana/seating area next to the beach. The home itself has plentiful amenities both for the home itself and for the beach. We use the bicycles, which were in very good condition. The property owner truly wants her guests to enjoy themselves. She is readily available by phone call or text. It is very easy to recommend this property for your Vero Beach vacation.

Vero Beach is beautiful

What a great home! Wonderfully decorated, nice pool, a short walk to a private beach. Paradise. Colleen takes great care of her home and you will love to meet her! Home has games, cable, all the kitchen accessories you will ever need. You will not be disappointed. We even had a Category 1 hurricane and she has storm windows, inside the house you could not even hear it! Look forward to coming back as soon as we can again!

Great house and so close to the beach

My husband and I stayed here for 2 months and loved how close we were to the beach. It was just a 5 minute walk there and Colleen has everything you need for a day at the beach. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The house also has many amenities to make your stay easy. The pool was amazing and warm. We had family down during our stay and there was alway enough room for all of us. We had a great time and if you need anything just call the owner, Colleen. She's a friendly, nice lady that is always willing to help you out with anything. Thank you Colleen for the wonderful house that created many good memories for our family.

Absolutely Perfect

This home was truly perfect for me and my family. We had three adults and three teenagers, and still felt like we had all the space in the world. Each room in this home is large and we were more than comfortable! The enclosed pool/patio was such an added bonus. This home has everything you need for the beach as well! 3 bikes, including a tandem, a wagon, umbrellas, chairs, towels, the whole works! We couldn't have rented a better spot in the beautiful town of Vero Beach, nor had a better hostess, Mrs. Colleen. She's delightful and a pleasure to work with.

Great Vacation Spot!

Overall - this is a great property to stay at! Top 3 Highlights - 1) Location (3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to South Beach, short drive to an abundance of restaurants). 2) Clean - this property was spotless! 3) Loved the access to all the beach gear (had chairs, coolers, paddle games, etc). Top 3 Improvements - 1) If you have small kids, this might not be the spot for you. There are a ton of decorations on the floor, lots of glass doors, and a couple of floor raises that will have you chasing little tots. 2) Be prepared to shop for some small items - garbage bags, toilet paper. Everything else was furnished. 3) Pool was initially chilly (we vacationed in November) but, Colleen was great to work with to turn the heat on). Overall - we would stay again!

Lovely home in a lovely neighborhood.

We were a group of 8 adults and enjoyed this home very much. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Everything worked well (master bathroom shower didn't have much pressure); nice appliances; nice supply of pool and beach accessories; well stocked pantry; only items missing in cooking supplies were a large stock pot and a 9X13 cake/casserole pan. The description is misleading by saying you are only 2 1/2 houses from the beach access. Technically this claim is true, but because you can't walk through people's yards, you are really 7 houses from beach access in either direction. During our stay the beach access was closed so we had an even farther walk. Colleen was very nice and takes great pride in her property which shows. Absolutely no complaints about house or owner only disappointment was proximity to beach. Had terrific weather and spent 70% of our waking moments on a wide nearly unpeopled beach!

Beautiful Pool House Near Beach

We had a great week! The house is spacious, clean, with a lovely screened in pool and well-stocked kitchen. There are a good deal of decorations - which we easily put up higher/away, but be aware if you have small kids. Loved the outdoor shower and all of the beach amenities (chairs, cooler, wagon, towels). You are a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. A few small annoyances - be prepared to do a separate lease with the owner and provide her with your personal info (credit card/license). This is required to rent here - which bothered me a little since I had purposefully gone through a site like VRBO to avoid this. (But perhaps this is common). Also, know that you will need to bring your own garbage bags/toilet paper as only 1 initial set is provided - again, maybe this is common, but I wish I would have known ahead of time. Lastly, Colleen is responsive with any questions - but also at times, texted us about not doing too much laundry or where my children should sit in the house. Overall, while our stay was great, these small annoyances did somewhat detract from Colleen's otherwise generous hospitality.

Fantastic beach trip

My wife and I recently spent a week at Colleen's home in Vero Beach. Many things to recommend about this property. Clean and well maintained home, upgraded kitchen and bathrooms, extensive DirecTV package, good WiFi coverage, plentiful high quality linens (including beach towels!), high end appliances, lots of kitchen supplies such as dishwasher detergent, sponges, sugar, coffee, filters, oil, vinegar, seasonings, etc. (even oatmeal!); lots of plates, glasses, mugs and silverware, good quality cookware, and a nice supply of tupperware-type containers for storing leftovers. One of the big surprises was use of the garage to park our vehicle! This may be the first time I have been able to enjoy that amenity in a vacation rental. The garage also contained bicycles, beach chairs, floats, boogie boards, and a wagon to carry all the toys to the beach. Which, by the way, is an easy stroll away, beautiful, and endlessly uncrowded. After the beach, head back to the house and relax in the sparkling screened pool. A previous review mentioned traffic noise...the property does back up to Florida Route A1A so the sound of passing vehicles is noticeable, but not objectionable. And the heavy vegetation along the back of the property line completely screens the road from view.

So I started renting to seasonal visitors and have never looked back. I've met some of the most interesting, colorful people ever and it's all happening in paradise. I developed my beach house with the tropics in mind and created an atmosphere that allows people to transport themselves in mind/body/spirit so they can feel like they truly escaped. Come visit; you'll be enchanted.
