The cabin is exactly as the pictures shown. Relaxing, clean and easily accessible. Kyle gets right back with you when needed. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay and explore the Grayling area.

Very nice cabin and everything you need to have a great vacation. 2nd time there and hope to be back again next year

Comfortable and Clean

The cabin is very adorable and situated on a nice piece of property. It was a hot Michigan weekend but the AC unit did an admirable job though I will say to be prepared for the upstairs bedrooms to be warmer. It didn't affect us too much and there are plenty of fans to help. There's plenty to do on the property and in the area to keep you busy and it's just a very pleasant place to stay with the amenities you need to unplug for a few days.

Excellent Property - Very Clean

This cabin in the woods is private with plenty of outside space to enjoy. The first thing you notice when you open the door is cleanliness. The cabin even smelled really clean, which was a welcome experience based on some other rentals.I hope to be able to return for a future vacation.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful trip, the snow was deep and our gracious host came out to plow the drive for us before we got there! The pellet stove kept us toasty and we enjoyed the games and backyard snowball fights when we weren’t skiing. Wonderful visit and will return!

Relaxing cabin vacation

Was such a nice break from city life. The snowfall one morning of our stay outside of the cabin windows was a highlight. Our dog loved running around and yard and exploring the woods. The pellet stove kept the cabin warm and comfortable, with relatively minor inconvenience . We would love to come back and stay again!

Wonderful cabin

Although I had to cut our trip short due to an emergency, I was still able to enjoy and appreciate the stunning cabin and the local area. I cannot wait to go back and finish exploring. The host was an angel. I have nothing but great things to say.

Bonfire Holler is a wonderful little cabin in the woods outside of Frederic, Michigan. There’s plenty of things to do in the area, and if the weather were bad, there was lots to do in the cabin and on the property. No worries about forgetting things at home as the cabin is well-equipped with cooking/baking supplies. Beds were comfortable - we were a little worried about being too hot sleeping upstairs, but the fans and cross-breezes made it quite comfortable and having a half-bath upstairs was great if there was a need to “go” in the middle of the night. Water temperature and flow was excellent - some places don’t get you both. The long tie-out from the porch was also a plus for letting the dog roam while we relaxed, but stay close enough to keep an eye out and we didn’t need to worry about chasing after our pup. The property is really quiet except for the birds and frogs at night. We saw deer and rabbits, but not one other person or car go down the road. It was fantastic!

Beautiful cozy cottage

Perfectly located for any season activity. This is a gem. Well cared for, very clean, cute, cozy, comfortable. We were on snow shoes everyday in the woods. Quiet quaint and snuggly warm at night filled with games and laughter. There is a lot of care an attention given to this cottage by the owners.

Amazing place

We came up for a family wedding on the Manistee river. We were expecting an average cabin for the weekend, we got more than expected. There was shampoo/soap and even kids soap I’m the shower. Full kitchen with fridge water and ice. The sheets are amazing. I will be ordering a set or two. We will most likely be in contact to rent again for a weekend!

Lovely cabin in a nice location!

My family and I enjoyed our experience at Bonfire Holler! From the moment we first walked in, we couldn’t get over how cute the cabin was and all the amenities it had to offer. They even had a treat waiting for our pup! Our only negative experience was the lack of air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms - the listing stated there would be a unit so we were disappointed about that. They do have a nice unit in the main floor, though. The week we stayed, the highs were in the 80s/90s so it was very problematic for sleeping upstairs, especially with our infant daughter. The hosts kept in good communication with us, though, which helped immensely. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin and its location.

The location was definitely relaxing, you’re basically in the middle of the woods. The tree-lined path to the property was beautiful. The cabin is cute and has everything you would need. Everything was clean. The pellet heater was super cozy, and it felt like we had a fireplace. We spent a lot of time hiking in the woods. Great experience overall.

This cabin was clean, peaceful, and well-supplied. We had a most marvelous time! The bedding was luxurious and the firepit was wonderful. It was so nice to be greeted with a very long tie out welcoming our dog who loved the property.

Privacy and peace

Rode sxs for the weekend. The cabin was great to get back to and enjoy a bonfire. We really enjoyed the record player too

Great Hideaway!

We love staying at Bon Fire Holler. It's away from a lot of other houses and close to trails so we can ride our Jeep and enjoy nature. There was a couple problems but the owner quickly took care of them. His communication was excellent.
