WoodHaven kan också kallas "Dold pärla", eftersom det är en utsökt privat, välutrustad, fyra sovrum-reträtt som gömde den övre bergssidan av Old Timberline. WoodHaven är perfekt för familjesemester eller vänner som letar efter en mysig bergsresa. Den har ett härligt öppet stort rum som är upplysta av fönster på tre sidor, accentuerade av de fantastiska trägolven, utrustade med en kökö / bar, och värms av en charmig interiör vedeldad eldstad. Vänta tills gästerna kommer fram till den mysiga verandan eller njut av soliga dagar eller stjärnklara nätter med spektakulär utsikt över Vintergatan från det stora, privata bakdäck och badtunna.
WoodHavns fyra rymliga sovrum är alla möblerade med dubbelsängar. Varje nivå har ett komplett badrum utrustat med dubbla tvättställ och kakelgolv. Det stora sovrummet på bottenvåningen erbjuder privat tillgång till det lyxiga badet på första våningen. Det största sovrummet på andra våningen kan sova ytterligare två gäster på den fullstora liggande futon. Matsalen har bekvämt plats för upp till 10 vid bordet Amish-stil.
Denna tillflyktsort har också bekvämligheten med en tvättmaskin / torktumlare på bottenvåningen och är utrustad med kabel-tv och höghastighetsinternet / WIFI för dig som vill hålla kontakten med världen. Som en bonus har vardagsrummet ett inomhus shuffleboardbord som kommer att underhålla unga och inte så unga i timmar. Exceptional stay

Loved everything about the stay. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, roomy, stocked well in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Hot tub and fireplace were very welcoming. We stayed here before, and hope to come back. Great location too!

Friends weekend

This is the 3rd time staying at the house. It has enough room for a group of friends. We love the big table for playing games and the shuffleboard table. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood with close proximity to hiking in Dolly Sods. The home was very clean. We will most likely stay again next spring.

Quick get away

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Access to Dolly Sods was a plus. Will stay again.

Great property

This property is in a great location for skiing at Timberline. Getting to the parking lot for Timberline takes maybe 5 minutes. The home is clean, well furnished and comfortable.

Great Getaway

Our family of four and small dog had a wonderful relaxing time in this house! The open floor plan was very welcoming as was all of the natural light from the many windows. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable as well. We loved playing on the shuffleboard, the only issue was there wasn't very much sand which made it tricky to keep the pucks sliding well. We're hoping to come back again!

Great weekend

We ad a great weekend at te property. The house inneat and very roomy. We had a lot of fun playing shuffle board. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. Mostly well equipped, but could use a few items in the kitchen.

Great house and great Location

This was our third trip to this home with Friends. 9 of us stayed this year and we had more than enough space for everyone . The kitchen, living room and dining area are great for large groups. We had plenty of room to eat and play games. The location to Dolly Sods is wonderful for hiking. We will be back!

Heavenly

My aunt and I stayed here a week. It was so comfortable and was exactly what we needed. A safe, peaceful place to relax and make our home base for various day trips in the area. We went to Blackwater Falls, Cass Railroad, Elkins for the Gandy Dinner Theater. It was simply perfect. We enjoyed our privacy, and the ability to cook our own meals. I would definitely rent this home again. We were really lucky to experience the beauty of this area.

This property deserves more than 5 stars. It is clean, nicely decorated with moose/bear.

Everything was perfect. Clean house, very large rooms. Heat worked well, very comfortable beds, the hot tub was very relaxing. Showers and water had good pressure. The Canaan realty were very nice. TV in upstairs bedroom was very fuzzy, but downstairs had many options for shows. I did break my leg climbing Seneca rocks. And had to cut our trip short, but look forward to coming back when I’m fully healed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house.

Not Bad...

Everything was fine except 2 things...there was dog hair throughout the whole house...even on the pillows of some of the beds. Also i pointed out to the property manager the amenities stated pool and spa. There is no pool and/or community pool. The management appeared to not really care

The Great Escape

The house was as described in the write up and in the reviews. What a beautiful mountain setting in a secluded and convenient environment. Some of the amenities are showing their age and are borderline ready for updates. Unfortunately, the dryer was not working, and it was recently replaced, no fault of the owner, which made the cleaning process more challenging for the staff. Therefore, the home wasn't as clean as we thought it should be upon our arrival. We had a good stay and the cabin was very convenient to Timberline for skiing and to many local hiking areas.

Timberline cabin stay

We all really enjoyed the cabin and it's location. Everything in the cabin was very nice. Overall it was a great experience. We only had a few minor issues. The were mice droppings throughout a lot of the kitchen drawers, the oven had not been cleaned out (it began to smoke immediately when we turned it on), several living room light bulbs were burned out. Thankfully there were some spare light bulbs provided but not nearly enough, we ended up buying some to replace the rest. The thermostat was not especially user friendly, but like I said those were minor, but everything else was very nice. Plenty of clean towels, blankets, etc. The hot tub was great. We liked the gated entry point. I would defintely stay at again. I have stayed with Timberline cabins in the past and never had a bad stay anytime.

Awesome House Located in Great Location, Old Timberline!

The house with it’s layout, fire pit and hot tub make this house a great place to stay. Another great reason to stay here is a short drive to the top of the mountain and you can hike into Dolly Sods. The only issue we found was the house was not well prepped nor cleaned. There was an empty paper towel tube and an empty soap bottle next to the kitchen sink. The bottom few steps had substantial lint and hair. We located the vacuum which was full of dog hair. Even with the lack of cleaning which we took care of, we would definitely stay here again. The only other recommendation I would give is to extend the roof over the hot tub. We really enjoyed it, but when the wind blew the snow off the roof, it was extremely cold on our heads.

Woodhaven Rental

This property is spacious, clean and well-appointed. It appears to be very convenient to the slopes and inside a security gate. That said, you will have to drive everywhere. We brought bicycles, but it’s not convenient to ride them due to the gravel roads and steep hills This is one of a few properties that has air conditioning and we thought it prudent to rent one in the middle of July. Glad we did, however the A/C did not really adequately cool the second floor. It is a preset thermostat, so we could only get it to cool down for a couple of hours before it would creep up again. Main level stayed cool. Tried calling the maintenance number but they told us to open the windows....
