Rue with a View - Pittoresk utsikt över bergen

2 sovrum och loft: Kung, kung, drottning, full bäddsoffa och 2 badrum - 2 svepa runt däck - utsikt över bergen.
Med utsikt över miles kommer de som söker utsikt, lugn och ro inte bli besvikna. Stugan ligger bara 3 miles från centrum Clayton, på Screamer Mountain inför South Carolina. Med övre och nedre lindning runt däck finns det gott om platser att sitta och njuta av utsikten. Det nedre däck är täckt med takfläktar för att njuta av utsikten. Det finns en stor, platt parkeringsplats med enkel åtkomst till kabinen.
Inuti finns det två sovrum och ett loftområde för att sova eller ta en tupplur. Det finns två kompletta badrum och ett öppet kök med gott om utrymme för dem som vill laga sin egen mat. Ett öppet familjerum gör det möjligt att koppla av framför tv: n eller spela spel vid matsalsbordet. Nedervåningen erbjuder spelrummet kul för alla med en storstorad arkadkonsol och platt-tv. Det finns också en bäddsoffa i full storlek också i spelrummet.
Det stora sovrummet är nere utanför spelrummet och ger direkt tillgång till den nedre täckta wrap runt däck. Det stora badrummet har ett bubbelbadkar för avkoppling efter en dag med vandring i några av de närliggande vattenfallen. Tvättstugan är i bottenvåningen och inkluderar en tvättmaskin, torktumlare och tvättställ.
Mobiltelefoner är antingen prickiga eller fungerar inte på den här platsen, men internet tillhandahålls så att du kan använda den VoIP-tjänst som erbjuds på de flesta telefoner (Voice Over Internet Protocol).
Vi levererar 2 rullar toalettpapper per badrum, två två rullar med pappershanddukar i köket, tillsammans med hotelltvålar, tvättmedel och schampo. Förhoppningsvis kommer detta att vara tillräckligt med grunderna för att ge dig tid att shoppa när du har bosatt dig.

Hermosa cabaña con vistas increiblemente hermosas! Tiene todo lo que necesitas para tu estadía cómoda y lejos del bullicio de la ciudad pero convenientemente ubicada cerca de muchos lugares naturales que puedes visitar. La recomiendo 100%. Sin duda volvería sin pensarlo!

I do not regret staying here!

A beautiful secluded cabin with a beautiful view. Only 5 minutes from the town of Clayton. Cabin came with practically everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The jet tub, fireplace, and video games were also nice to have! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!

Mountain Views & close to town

Check in process was smooth owners accommodated us to check in earlier which was amazing since we drove from south Florida overnight. The drive up was not bad at all- follow the instructions provided and you’ll be fine. We’ve stayed in the area before with much more steep and limited space. The cabin is perfect. Cozy and comfortable. Plenty kitchen gadgets and coffee mugs. I’d definitely return here in the future.

Best View Ever

We stay at Rue with a Vue because that’s what it is. The cabin is easy to reach, paved roads. It is so comfortable and homey. Absolutely the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s well maintained and the owner is very accommodating and helpful if you have questions. Thank you, Derek

Great stay with amazing views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rue with a View and the pictures did not do our view there justice. We loved every morning and evening sitting outside and enjoying our time in such a beautiful landscape. Everything was clean and comfortable and the hosts were amazing and quickly responded to any questions I had. Definitely 5 of 5 stars!

Amazing View

We had a beautiful Christmas while visiting the Rue Cabin, the view is priceless , the accommodations were perfect the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for all our cooking needes. We had much fun playing the arcade games, sitting on the back patio sipping our mornings coffee or just relaxing by the warm fire. The town of Clayton is lovely with many great shops, grocery stores were close by. I definitely would stay again and recommend to others.

Great weekend getaway!!

The cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. The view is amazing. It was especially nice that we are able to bring our dog. Everything that we needed was supplied. Clayton is a cute town and was super close for a quick visit.

Purely Peaceful

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The view is amazing. It is so quiet and peaceful. The place was clean and comfy. When we weren’t in town we spent most of our time one of the decks sipping coffee or wine. The Gallaga was an added bonus. My husband and I had so much fun playing pac man and it got very competitive. We really loved the place and will definitely be renting it again.

Great cabin! Everything we needed, and more. Views, comfort, close to town while still feeling secluded. We were able to check in early. Host answered messages immediately. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Great views promised and delivered!!

The house was wonderful. Great views and the space was super clean and spacious. Old school game machine was nice bonus. Driveway was a little tricky but i figured it out...I would recommend arriving in the day light. Other than that, this house really delivers and I look forward to coming back.

Amazing View!

Beautiful property with a remarkable view across the mountains. We were very comfortable and found all the amenities we needed to stay here for 2 nights. Disappointed that the hot tub seemed to NOT be tied to hot water heater (at least both nights when we tried to fill it). Prop Mgr did not answer the phone both times we called but followed up with email that night. We had trouble accessing the property upon arrival as door keypad was not visible (not lit) to us as we tried to enter code into a separate keypad near the ft door. We also had trouble accessing the internet before the prop mgr provided additional instructions that evening. Road up to house is dangerous single lane so drive very slow around the blind curves!

Beautiful views, but be careful with pets/small children

I can't say much about the property because our visit ended as soon as it began. As soon as we got to the house, my husband walked the dog down the road to get her to go potty before entering (there is really no where for pets to go around entrance). Upon walking back up, the dog broke free from her collar like something spooked her. She ended up running towards the house and over the retaining wall (the wall is barely elevated). After sliding down the mountain to get the dog and rushing her to a vet in town, we found that she had broken several toes and her wrist was messed up. The Clayton vet stated she would most likely need pins and plates, but there was no specialist in the area. She would have to call around to find someone the next day because they were past closing at this point. Due to the upcoming inclement weather and the fact that the nearest specialist was several hours away, we made the decision to drive the 9 hours back home for our vet to lead the dog's recovery. Please be careful if you have children or pets, because I would hate for someone else to have the same situation happen to them. This whole experience ruined our Christmas holiday. I can't say much about the house since we never stayed even one night, but the views did look nice when we drove up. This would have been our 8th year staying in the mountains, and was the first time we ever felt that a home was not suitable for pets or small children. It would be good for couples and teenage children though. As for our dog, the break is too close to the wrist for surgery. She will be in a splint for 8 weeks and at the 6 week point they will be assessing if her wrist will need surgery based on how it is healing and the mobility. The owner did reach out once to see if our dog needed surgery, but that was it. The reason for the mark down in cleanliness, was that we saw dead bugs along the sliders and windows inside the living room. They should have been cleaned up if it was swept or vacuumed before arriving. That is the only thing we saw, but we were barely there due to the accident.

Exceptional Views, Easy Access, and Close to Town

We would definitely return to this cabin and recommend to friends! We love how it's secluded on top of the mountain with spectacular views (sunrise AND sunsets) yet literally 4 minutes to the grocery store and downtown Clayton / restaurants. Easy access (Google maps GPS works well here) with paved roads leading to cabin. Owner is very responsive and hospitable; supplying lots of free amenities than many rentals do not, such as free coffee pods, tea, and access to supplies if you need more TP, etc. Main bedroom bed was firm and comfortable with nice quality bedding. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the large whirlpool tub was clean and nice to have after a long day of hiking. Speaking of hiking, this cabin is central to 20++ incredible hikes within a 20-30 minute drive, with Black Rock State Park only a few minutes away. (Download the Hiking Project App for driving instructions to trailheads and trail descriptions, etc). Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there is a grill on the deck too. Highly recommended!

Rue has the BEST View

We always rent for the view, we were not disappointed! In addition, the cabin was extremely clean, and to our surprise, was well stocked with household conveniences that are not provided in other rentals. The owners were available to answer any questions. Oh, and the beds were very comfortable.

We are two friends who decided we wanted property in North Georgia. I am originally from Colorado, and my business partner is a native of Atlanta. We both fell in love with the mountains and mountain life early on. He has been coming up and hiking these woods for years and I spent my youth in the mountains of Colorado. We finally decided we needed a place we could come to as we pleased. Rabun County is 70% National Forrest. The amount of hiking is almost unlimited. Making for a great place to get away.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The view is the first, but not the only reason. The cabin itself is exactly what we wanted. The large open space with windows for the view, as well as the Master with its own private covered deck with great views. Secluded in the mountains, yet just a short trip to the town of Clayton. We fell in love immediately with all of it. We spent the first 6 months renovating to repair, upgrade and make it more comfortable.
