Amazing Stay!

Beautiful condo and amazing location. Very clean with all needed amenities. Amazing views and awesome doors that open all the way leading onto the lanai. Very detailed communication and guest portal from property management prior to the stay. Easy check-in process, and friendly staff on site. We would absolutely stay here again - thank you so much!

Perfect honeymoon!

My new husband and I stayed here for 6 days during our honeymoon and the property was fantastic! The place was spacious and had a wonderful view of the resort and the ocean. Plenty of pools and Duke's drinks to keep us happy and a short drive to Lahaina and other fun areas. Will definitely be back!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect to walk on the boardwalk or go to the beach. We enjoyed the pools and Dukes. The property management was very helpful and the checkin process was easy. The condo is beautiful and well taken care of. Thanks so much.

Stunning Studio!

We stayed at Bruno's little best kept secret for 4 nights and it was amazing! This condo has absolutely everything you need! so well equipped i wish i wouldn't have packed half the stuff i did. Great location, easy access to the beach. LOVED opening the lanai doors at night and listening to the ocean. Don't hesitate to book this outstanding condo! can't wait to come back next year! Thanks Bruno!

Beautiful home in paradise!!!

Wow! Where do I begin!? My husband and I spent 5 nights in Bruno's studio at the Honua Kai. We were in heaven! The only thing we regret was not booking for more nights. The studio was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (pots/pans/spices/tupperware/ziplock bags etc...) as well as head to the beach (chairs, cooler, beach towels). My favorite part was sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the full ocean view while drinking my morning coffee. The self-parking under the building was easy and convenient to come/go. We were glad that we purchased our own snorkels before the trip because you can snorkel immediately off the resort. We can't wait to come back!

Exceptional attention to detail with a great view

This was a smooth, comfortable experience from start to finish. Shortly after booking, we received a personal call from Bruno and he answered all of our questions about the property. The Maui Trip Planner that was sent prior to our arrival was full of valuable information. We saved an electronic copy, plus a printed copy was provided in the unit for us. We also appreciated having a copy of Maui Revealed in the condo. Things we loved: underground secure parking. Beach chairs, beach bag, and cooler. Stainless steel water bottles stayed cold in the car when filled with ice water. A wheeled cart for groceries. The coffee shop in the lobby. Breakfast on the lanai with an incredible view. High quality linens and beach towels. Well-stocked kitchen with new appliances. We happened to be there during an unusually rainy week for Maui but we were usually able to drive around the island and find decent weather. That's where the Maui trip planner really came in handy. Mahalo, Bruno and Ellen, for making this a fabulous vacation with a place to come "home" to at the end of each day. We would definitely repeat this stay.

Amazing stay!

We’ve been to Maui before and love to stay on the north end of Kaanapali. We wanted the resort feeling and this property was perfect! Being on the eighth floor in the corner was perfect! The view was amazing and we could also here to music from Dukes in the evening. Everything was great in the condo, so much so that we didn’t need to call or text them about anything but they checked in with us by email and maybe even text (I can’t remember) asking if there was anything we needed and making sure we were happy with everything. I really appreciated that! The condo was updated and had most everything you needed. They even had shampoos and soap in the shower. It was beautifully decorated and clean! Never saw a bug lol! In Hawaii there are bugs and that’s just the way it is for the humid climate but seriously there wasn’t any type of bug at all. They have 2 beach chairs and a cooler in the closet. We rented boogie boards from the Snorkel Store. They are awesome there! They send you daily reports of the conditions of the different beaches and they set you up with all you need. The staff at this property were all very helpful and kind as well. It was a great and well needed trip and everything went smooth and was perfect. The only thing I wished they had was a mirror on the wall somewhere outside the bathroom. That way I could get ready while the other person showers. But seriously that would be just a suggestion…everything was wonderful! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Studio and Property!

My wife and I just stayed at this lovely studio for 6 days as we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. This was our first time renting through VRBO, so we were a little apprehensive being that we normally rent a hotel. I must say that Bruno was a top notch host. From our initial booking, to our departure, he was always ready and available to answer questions or address concerns. This studio is exactly how you imagine it in the pictures, and more. The ocean view is breath-taking and easily enjoyed because the glass doors open up the full length of the lanai. A few nights we left the glass doors open (there is also a full length screen to keep the bugs out) to hear the ocean waves throughout the night. Yes, the ocean is that close! Bruno has stocked the studio with everything you will need to make your vacation enjoyable: Boogie board, beach towels, sunscreen/sun tan lotion, grocery cart, dishes, binoculars to enjoy the ocean view, the list goes on! The studio is impeccably maintained and was fresh and clean when we arrived. The grounds are beautiful and have direct access to the beach. Good eating is within steps of the condo, namely Duke's famous restuarant, which provides causal breakfast and lunch, and also a nice dinner menu. There is also a spa, general store, and a lovely coffee shop within the resort. Self-parking is free (not far at all from the main entrance) AND valet is free too (tips of course though). If you are looking for luxury accommodations in Maui, that is centrally located to many major Maui excursions/dinning/shopping, look no further because this is the place! Bruno, and his property, have truly changed our perspective on renting a VRBO in lieu of a hotel. We will be back!

Nice views, clean space!

We enjoyed watching the whales from our balcony, it was a better view than we expected. Chairs and cooler were a nice addition. The only small thing for a family who enjoys bbq, the kitchen wasn’t fully equipped. Would definitely recommend this unit!

First time staying at this resort. The location cannot be beat, right on Kaanapali beach, steps away from Duke's, spectacular views, and well maintained pools and gardens. Will definitely return! :)

Loved everything but there wasn’t bedding for the pull out couch. We asked the front desk for a blanket and we’re curtly denied with the explanation, “We don’t deal with vrbo/condos.”
