Det här är vad Tybee Island handlar om! Ett ett kvarter promenad till floden och 2 kvarter till norra stranden / fyren! Allt du vill är en kort promenad bort. Efter en dag med simning, och få den perfekta solbränna, besök de många butiker och restauranger Tybee har att erbjuda. * Hyresdelen av hemmet är bottenvåningen belägen på andra våningen över garaget och nere. Den nedre våningen som har en separat entance för en året runt hyresgäst.

Fyrmuseet, Viki's Restaurant, North Beach Grill och Cafe Loco ligger några steg bort. För dem som är intresserade av antikviteter och lokala hantverkare, är det här platsen att vara!

Vårt 3 sovrum hem är dekorerad med en avslappnad strand stil. Allt du behöver ingår, sängkläder, köksartiklar och kabel-TV och tillgång till internet! Vi har en stor uteplats med utemöbler för avkoppling efter en hård dag med roligt! Ha en underbar semester i vårt hem! Du kommer att vilja återvända igen och igen.

Bra läge för att besöka Tybee Island. Mindre än en mil promenad till North Beach som är listad som # 5 sak att göra medan på Tybee Island. En stor strand utan alla stora folkmassor .. Många restauranger runt ön från vardagliga till fina restauranger. Berömda Tybee Island Light House och museum # 2 inom gångavstånd (.8 miles). Historisk plats med en fyr tillgänglig för besökare via egen guidad tur och ett museum. Du kan köra ett kort avstånd (2. 6 miles) till Tybee Beach Pier och Pavilion eller promenera till stranden för att du kommer dit.

Very cute, convenient Tybee rental

The property was great...comfortable for our family of four. It was a short walk to dining and art galleries, about 7 minute walk to the beach. The lighthouse is walking distance, as well (~1 mile). Quiet neighborhood, away from the touristy area. We recommend Huc-A-Poos for great, inexpensive food. Also the art gallery with the local artists is great! Both are a very short walk away. Finally, we really enjoyed Captain Derek's dolphin adventure. An awesome getaway, and Valentina was easy to work with. Thanks for making it so fun!

Johnson family vacation 2023

We loved the house and location. Check in should be earlier and check out a little later. I wish we had known about things that were there for us to use, like a blow dryer, shampoo and conditioner, bodywash, coffee, sugar and cream, beach chairs, beach blankets and beach towels. It was nice having a washer and dryer with detergent so that we could wash clothes there. We didn't know about a bike either.

No 4 Bedroom Here

The ad shows a 4 bedroom house. However, the home has a small storage room converted to a bedroom in the garage. In addtion, the home has 1 tv in the living area that is only a 32" tv. We had no tvs in the bedroom. Also, the beach is much further than the ad implies. We drove and it took apprx. 10 minutes. I could not send my kids there alone. House was not impressive at all. Deposit was difficult to get back. Will not use again.

Great Stay

Valentina is a great communicator. She even called prior to our stay with some suggestions and news to make our trip go smoothly. The place is large, clean and has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location was convenient to the beach, some shopping and Huc-a-poos. We would love to come stay at Valentina’s again!

Perfect location

Valentina was great with communication. She was super sweet and accommodating. Her home was beautiful. Tons of nicknacks all over the home to view. One bed was extra soft the other two were a Little harder. Bathrooms were large and clean. Game room is nice, but no air in there. It was extremely hot. There was an extra fridge for food and drinks in the game room which came in handy. If you don’t want to take the long walk too beach gps south beach it’s a quick drive. Go to 14th and turn left for parking lot. Make sure you pay for parking. The porch is amazing. She has lights all around the front for you. I recommend putting lights through the walkway it’s really dark at night. Overall it was an amazing stay. Savannah was really close for shipping as well as Wilmington island. Derek’s dolphin tour is a must see!

Wonderful Accommodations

This is the nicest place to stay. We were very pleased with the location. Everything was clean and so close to the activities of the island. We will definitely stay here again and bring our family. The property owner is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. She makes you fell like she’s family.

Warning...

The host called us half an hour before we arrived. She asked us how many people we were. I stated that we were 4 adults and 1 child but that there may be a night or two when there would be 5 adults and 1 child, as my sister lives in Savannah and might stay over if we did dinner on the island. The host then yelled at me for over five minutes. She was so loud that my son in the backseat overheard everything. She used the words "lies" and "liar" repeatedly. She was extremely aggressive and suggested that we may not be able to stay there. It was only when I started crying that she said that I had her permission to let my sister stay there. I felt sick and uncomfortable at the end of the conversation. The capacity for the property was listed as 6 adults and 2 children. As adding one more adult would have made no difference in terms of price or eligibility, I couldn't imagine why the owner reacted this way. Initially, I thought perhaps she had just been through a lot. She had shouted about her place being treated like a dormitory and people bringing pets when they shouldn't. But my husband later looked at past reviews and it seems she is extorting people for extra money. Her behavior has been so unsettling and aggressive that the police have been called. This is a pattern of behavior, and it is a terrible thing to be made to feel unsafe and insecure when you are far from home, especially when you have your children in tow. In terms of the house...First, she is right, pets are a problem. The living room smelled of dog pee and the blanket provided in the bedroom chest smelled strongly of dog and was definitely not washed between guests. There was very little space to put any personal items in any area of the house. There were surprisingly few hangers. Each person was issued one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth for a six-day stay. The kitchen table was obnoxiously wobbly. On the bright side...She had a charming game room set up for children below the main level of the house. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The beach, which was within walkable distance, was lovely and uncrowded.

Short Walk to the Beach

Very nicely decorated house with a great beach feel in a quiet neighborhood. The owner Valentina is charming and very accommodating and has a great flare for decoration. The house is an easy 15 minute walk to the North Beach and Lighthouse and a longer walk to the South Beach. There are a couple of restaurants and many shops two minutes away from the house. The house is up a staircase, which is standard in this storm-vulnerable areas. The porch is not completely screened-in which was not a problem in February, but might be in warmer times of the year. The HVAC is located in a closet in the living area and was a bit too noisy for my taste.

Great stay

Had a great time on Tybee Island. The property was spotless and close to some local walkthrough stores. Plenty of room for everybody and the property manager was attentive to anything we could need.

Beautiful property

We had a great time at this property. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The only down was the mosquitos!! Make sure to wear your bug spray.

Moms’ Getaway

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The apartment was clean, had a nice sized kitchen, comfortable beds, and Valentina was very responsive to any questions we had. Our suggestions for improvements would be to have more seating in the living area, The apartment can sleep 8, but there are only 4 actual seats in the living area for people to sit. The other suggestion would be to add a few more kitchen items, such as some sheet pans, another sauté pan, more cooking utensils. We cooked most of our meals and had to make do without a few of these items.

My stay

It was a very nice house. The house was very clean and cozy. The manager was amazing and very sweet. I really enjoyed talking to her. There were lots of mosquitoes there and it would have helped a lot if the whole outside porch would have been screened in. This way we couldn't even sit outside on the porch cause of the mosquitoes. My friend there were were too many plants there tight around the house and that has made it worse with mosquitoes. It was a little walk to the beach so the house is not right on the beach, but if you drive over to the beach you have to pay to park the car. Most our overall stay was great.... Thank you for letting us stay at your house.

Enjoy

The outside pictures are a little misleading just on the size of the property smaller then what pictures lead you to believe but is still very beautiful inside very clean and beautifully decorated do not suggest this for families with teenagers or anyone going for a partying beach vacation. Ideal for couples. Beach is about 5 to 10 minute walk again its a quiet beach not many people some small local shops. Overall we enjoyed our time here

Week Retreat

A little disappointing

Cons: The pictures that are listed are very different than the actual home. It feels very cluttered. There were lots of rules and these were tape ALL over the house. We were asked not to wear shoes into the home and had to take them off on the porch. The beach was quite a walk and there isn’t a sidewalk to get there. The beach was riddled with jelly fish. I’m not sure if this is seasonal or what but we never went back to the beach that was close to the house, we drove up the island to the public areas. Pros: The owner has lots of items stocked that you may typically have to buy. That was great! Dish soap, chlorox wipes, laundry pods, spices, coffee quality garbage bags. The house is also in walking distance from a few shops, a bike shop, coffee shop but some of them were closed during the week. Overall, we would go back to the area but unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again.
