Overgrown with poisonous weeds, reeking of cat urine, and in clear disrepair â this property is nothing like the listing.We were disappointed to find that the property was not as presented. Overgrown weeds â including poisonous hemlock â blocked the address post, and we were immediately hit with an overpowering cat urine/litter box odor upon entering. The smell only intensified overnight. When we raised this with the owner, she suggested it might be lingering cleaning products or that the extreme heat made odors more noticeable, recommending we open both doors to air it out or run the AC fan continuously. She stated she would âlook into it after our stayâ and follow up with the cleaners, but offered no immediate solution beyond airing it out ourselves. Smelled very strong of ammonia. Our noses burn d by the end of the day. Inside, there were no mattress or pillow protectors, the towels smelled musty, water pressure was poor, one toilet took ages to refill, most door hinges were loose so doors wouldnât close properly, curtains had scratches, and a lamp had visible cat bite marks (we did not bring a cat) The home had a âFor Saleâ sign in the yard and is listed as pending on Zillow and Realtor.com â something never disclosed in the listing. The property felt neglected, unhealthy, and unfit for guests.
