Post & Beam Cottage - Tillgång till stranden, Mountain View - Nära Acadia och stränder

Stuga med stolpe och balk med öppen planlösning. Grova skurna timmer och trägolv ger en mycket mysig kabinkänsla. Utanför fastigheten har ett stort öppet däck, täckt bakre veranda, eldstadsområde och en stenlagd uppfart med en basketplan. En kort promenad ner en privat väg till stranden ger tillgång till vatten för kajakpaddling och utforska Raccon Cove. Fastigheten är också centralt belägen i Lamione och ligger nära alla dess bekvämligheter, bara 1 1/2 mil från Marboro Beach, 1/2 mil från sötvattenssimning på Bloomfield Park på Blunt's Pond och 3 miles från Lamoine State Park, och Lamoine Beach. Alla saltvattenplatser ger båtåtkomst till Frenchman's Bay. Om du gillar golf är Bar Harbor Golf Course bara 5 minuter bort. Båda delarna av Acadia (Mount Desert Island och Schoodic Pennisula) och Bar Harbor ligger inom 15-20 minuters bilresa. Staden Ellsworth ligger inom 10 minuter för enkel tillgång till matvaror, presentbutiker, restauranger, filmer och till och med LL. Böna.

Alternativ för flera familjer - Hyr två eller fler och spara. Vi erbjuder också två andra fastigheter i Lamoine # 182554 & # 359029 på Raccoon Cove en tvärs över gatan och den andra 2 1/2 miles bort. Den ena är en avskild stuga vid havet med en öppen planlösning. Grova timmer och trägolv ger en mycket mysig känsla. Den har 2 sovrum i huvudstugan och ett tredje privata sovrum i en bungalowstuga vid havet. Utanför fastigheten har en täckt skärmad veranda med en sydlig utsikt över Racoon Cove med en enastående utsikt över Cadillac Mountain i Acadia National Park. Båda stugorna sitter nära stranden och ger tillgång till vatten för kajakpaddling och utforskar Raccon Cove. Koppla av vid en vacker babling bäck i trädgården.

Den andra är en stuga vid havet med en underbar privat sandgrusstrand. Det erbjuder 4 sovrum och tre badrum och kommer att sova 10.

A week near Acadia National Park

I’m sorry to say that I did not appreciate the bugs and spiderwebs inside the windows when I opened up to get air. I Had to buy an air mattress because the downstairs bed was not only uncomfortable, but had very noisy bedframe

Great Spot

The cabin was roomy and comfortable. Close to 2 beaches and easy to get around. Quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Some updates / fixes would be helpful but overall very nice.

A great stay

This property was great. Clean, cute and roomy with all the touches to enjoy our stay. Big porch. Grill. Fire pit. The location was perfect for us. Close enough for all the sights but just outside it all for the "quiet" we were looking for.

Perfect Cabin

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outside decks & firepit as well as the peaceful surroundings. We explored Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Ellsworth, and saw fireworks from Marlboro beach. The only reason we gave a 4 star rating for cleanliness was because the microwave and some of the dishes/silverware had not been cleaned or not cleaned well which were minor issues. Otherwise, the cabin was clean. Overall, we enjoyed the location and would rent the cabin again.

Fantastic stay!

We loved our stay here and hated to leave. The home is clean and bright. The bedrooms are all comfortable with plenty of room to store your belongings. The loft is cozy and a nice spot to curl up and read a book. The downstairs is open and spacious - which is fantastic if you have a larger crew with you! The porch/deck has plenty of seating for gathering. It is perfect for enjoying the quiet of the morning with your coffee, the sunrise, and neighborhood deer. A portion of the porch/deck is covered so you can sit out there on those rainy days or stay dry while grilling dinner. The yard is large and perfect for any outdoor games you might want to bring with you. The property is perfectly located off the beaten path, yet a short drive to Acadia and surrounding areas. After walking around town or long hikes in Acadia, it is nice to have a quiet and relaxing home to return to. Marlborough Beach is around the corner - it is not a traditional sandy beach so don't expect to set up a sand chair with the kids, but it is a great spot to catch the gorgeous sunsets while looking for beautiful rocks and shells (beware of mosquitos!) Nate was fantastic with communication, and I hope we have an opportunity to rent from Nate and Becky again. You won't regret your stay here.

Great place to take our granddaughter!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Our granddaughter loved playing on the swing and slide. The yard was very large which was great for our dogs to play. Nate was very responsive when we had an issue with the microwave which turned out to be unplugged (that was embarrassing 😳). The porch was nice for morning coffee. Sadly we did not have an opportunity to use the fire pit.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Great cottage for tourists that don’t want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Nate and Becky were great at answering any questions I had and provided a beautiful, clean, well maintained cottage! The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee, daytime lawn games and evening fires! The beach is only a few miles away and was great to take walks and picnics, Bar Harbor and Acadia Park was just a 20-25 minute drive and the town of Ellsworth was perfect for shopping and had all we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Great place 2nd time at this house

This was our second time at this house and if available next year we are thinking of booking again. It checks all the boxes comfortable, very relaxing after hiking in Acadia, lots of space, dog friendly, just a great house.

Relaxing and beautiful family-friendly getaway

Lovely spot on the mainland close to Acadia Nat'l Park! The basketball court was great for our 9-year-old; our 6-year-old spent hours on the play structure. We loved making s'mores at the fire pit. Beautiful wide open skies at night. The Schoodic Peninsula was gorgeous and an easy drive, as were our favorite spots on Mt. Desert Island. Would definitely stay here again!

The Best of Maine!

This a great property!! Extremely quiet location between 2 beaches and a freshwater lake. Close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Lot’s nature and a great view of the sky above. Every accommodation needed is available. We will be back!!!

Private home close to Acadia and Bar Harbor

This home was perfect for our vacation with friends and family. Large kitchen, great outdoor space for our dog, private location. Short 30 min drive into bar harbor or Acadia where there’s plenty to do and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quiet and beautiful home that we loved

This is my favorite home so far and we have been coming to bar Harbor for years. It was relaxing and secluded and only about 35 minutes to downtown. My family including our 2 dogs loved everything about this place to name a few the back yard with the deck and comfortable deck chairs, the beds, and the fire pit. Family visit

Loved the cottage. very relaxing retreat from the crowds of bar Harbor. Had my sister down from Bethel and my daughter with her 14 year old son, and her boyfriend. Fit us all very well. Close location to all the fun spots of Mount desert island

Great property

We had a great time staying at this property. The house was extremely comfortable and cozy. About 30 minutes to Bar Harbor, and easy access to the rest of MDI, the schoodic peninsula and Ellsworth. The house was a nice quiet place to come home to after the days’ adventures. It felt like staying at a friend’s house that had all the little things you might need, like scissors and tape in the drawer and all the cooking supplies needed. Beautiful, Comfy, Relaxing

The owners are wonderful! The property is exceptional! The owners were helpful and accommodating when COVID ruined our vacation plans. It was no disappointment when we were finally table to visit. The home is beautiful! Well stocked kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds, cozy sofa, the patio/deck/yard layout just beg for your company. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor are easy enough, Ellsworth offers all the needs you could have, and is also an easy drive. We enjoyed every second and I genuinely did NOT want to leave. If I am able to return to Maine, like I hope, staying here again would definitely be a possibility! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed Cottage on Pasture Way. Excellent communication by the Owners, all questions answered timely and professionally. Excellent location between Bar Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula just along the coast. Really gave us an authentic Maine experience. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies. It's lovely inside and out, convenient location in relation to Ellsworth for everything you need, but a more secluded location at the same time.
