Family Christmas vacation

Wendy is an amazing host. She was very timely with her responses to all the questions and concerns that I had. She was very detailed in her communications and provided information on every step we needed to take from the moment of booking through the immigration processes, setting up transportation, scheduling dinners and checking in and checking out . If ever we had a glitch she was on top of it to straighten it out. The home is beautiful and true to the pictures in the listing . Very clean and comfortable and plenty of space for our family of 8 . She made my Christmas wish come true and had the most amazing Christmas tree set up prior to our arrival . Is was more beautiful than any of the decorated trees on the resort. Daily maid service kept the house impeccable. The pool was cleaned daily. The chef made a hot breakfast everyday . My only complaint with that would be there was no variety in what was served but we could always go to the buffet on the resort if we weren’t satisfied .Having use of the golf cart was very useful as we had one family member with mobility issues so this was extremely helpful with getting around . Some of the resort restaurants are not ADA friendly so that would be something to keep in mind when traveling. We had a couple days where we didn’t have hot water. The front desk was quick to respond to try and resolve the issue and we had mix up where they forgot to schedule our BBQ at the villa. None of these small things effected our stay

Hello everyone! My name is Wendy Emrich and I currently live in Leland, North Carolina. I'm married to my wonderful husband Joe and have two great children -- Sean and Samantha. My father was in the Air Force, so I traveled a lot in my younger years, but I spent most of my youth in upstate New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1987, created my advertising agency in 1990 and after many years of being in business, I sold my agency in 2017 and retired. With retirement, comes vacations! After vacationing at the Lifestyles Resort in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for many years, my husband and I finally decided to build our dream villa. A place where our family and friends can enjoy time together and hopefully yours will too!

It has 6 spacious bedrooms each with king size beds, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, a large open concept living room, 2 dining room tables for 12, 7 large televisions, plus a built-in entertainment bar within the kitchen. The outdoor living features a gorgeous balcony, covered terrace, pavilion, a beautiful private pool and a grand entrance to add to your getaway.

1. Transportation
Upon arriving at the Puerto Plata, DR airport (POP), you and your guests will be provided FREE transportation to the Lifestyles Resort. Also, FREE transportation back to the Puerto Plata airport after your vacation.

2. VIP Dark Blue Band Bracelet (Equivalent to Shareholder status)
As guests of our villa, each person in your party will receive a dark blue band bracelet providing you access to various VIP restaurants, bars and beaches.

3. All-Inclusive
No worries about signing a check or keeping track of your expenses. All food for breakfast, lunch and dinners, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream, etc. are all included in the mandatory all-inclusive rate of $165 per person per day.

4. In-Villa Breakfast Chef
You will receive an In-Villa Breakfast Chef each morning at a specified time of your choosing. Enjoy freshly made omelets, eggs to your liking, toast, pancakes, bacon, meats, cheeses, muffins, croissants, fresh fruits, juices and smoothies.

5. Restaurants & Bars
With over 18 restaurants, 27 bars and several beach side grills to choose from you'll be able to experience many of the freshly made foods and blended drinks the resort has to offer.
