Scenisk balkongutsikt över False River! Njut av detta uppgraderade, moderna sjöhus bara 35 minuter från LSU och några minuter från antikaffärer i centrala New Roads eller St. Francis. Naturligtvis kommer du också njuta av fiske! Stort vardagsrum / kök med öppet fönster mot floden. Dessutom bara 3 minuters promenad från Sand Bar, som har band, sandvolleyboll, mat och dryck. Stort täckt område på bottenvåningen tillåter gott om areal för kräftpannor, grill och underhållande.

Observera att False River är 6 fot lägre än normalt, tillfälligt under de kommande månaderna. Att docka en båt kan vara svårt, men vattnet är tillräckligt djupt i slutet av piren för båtåtkomst.

This spot is fantastic. They stay was peaceful, enjoyable, and relaxing. Great property on the river. The owners were so nice. We wnjoyed every minute of it. Also, the fishing and the pier is exceptional. We will definately be back

First time staying on the river and I enjoyed every bit of my time there. The house was perfect and Mitch made sure to accommodate us very well. I would definitely recommend this house if you want a relaxing stress free time.

Fabulous stay on False River

I absolutely loved this place! We felt comfortable there. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Endless hot water is a super plus with 3 ladies and 2 teen boys... lol! Towels are super fluffy, beds are comfortable, dock was nice, and you can see the sunrise and the sunset from the upper deck. I think what I appreciated most, however, was the owner checking on us to make sure all was good. We will definitely stay here again!

Great getaway!

Lakefront Scenery!!!!

First of all this lake house is wonderful!! The location on False River doesn’t disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the home and the ability to fish from the well maintained private fishing pier/boat dock. The interior of the home was so well decorated that my wife picked up a few ideas for our own home. Spacious, updated, with all the creature comforts of home. Our family will definitely be visiting this home again and in the near future. Lastly but definitely not least, Mitch was more than helpful, courteous, and kind throughout the entire rental process. I could tell that he was genuinely concerned about our enjoyment of the home and the ease of its use. I’ll never forget him because we have never been treated with so much care and concern when renting any vacation home before. We rent vacation properties all the time, but this was an experience that my family truly enjoyed. K and M Daniels

Perfection!

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful camp with exceptional amenities! Totally relaxing. Could even hear bands playing at the Sandbar at night! We will definitely be staying here again.

I could not recommend the place enough....it checks all the boxes: very clean, stocked with everything you might need, plenty of room, well done interior and furnishings, very responsive host and perfect sunrise/sunset views from the veranda!!! Truly, a home away from home!

This house is great. Beautiful spot on the lake, extremely well decorated with lots of extra amenities. Located close to lots of attractions so we did several day trips. Really enjoyed our stay, hated to leave. John is a great host.

I was so happy with this property!

My husband was born and raised in New Roads, LA. For the past 20+ years I've been visiting, we always stay with my mother-in-law. Due to the holidays, there were too many out of town guests to fit at her house, so we took the opportunity to stay on the river for the very first time. My goal was to find a place comfortable enough for our immediate family (with a 16 yr old and 3 yr old) and for hosting a couple meals for the out of town family. Holidays and family are hectic so a peaceful location to enjoy the serene water would be the icing on the cake! This rental did not disappoint! There's a super comfy chair in a window overlooking the pier and water where I was able to steal 30 minutes in the morning just to enjoy the peace. The house was spotless and thoroughly stocked like an actual home! I was able to cook full meals and host a jambalaya dinner for the family. I tend to find that the kitchens in VRBOs lack enough paraphernalia to comfortably cook large meals. They even had dishware for toddlers and a high chair that I never travel with! It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for such a great stay!

Christmas Getaway with Family

We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! We loved the comfy beds, updated interior, lake view, etc. We want to come back! This is such an amazing place on False River. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental! It provided instant vacation for us. Provided almost everything that we needed to have a wonderful Christmas stay with the family and local extended family. We cant wait to come back!

Scenic getaway!

We had a wonderful time when we stayed at this property. The house is very comfortable to stay in. We had plenty of room for six people. There is also a nice area outside to enjoy the weather. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. It is also close to a lot of nice restaurants and other stores for picking up food or other needed items. Definitely recommend this as a nice place to stay. Would love to stay here again.
