Quiet, Pleasant Loft

We enjoyed our stay very much. The loft is very clean and nicely furnished It is walking distance to many restaurants and downtown shops and bookstores. The yard has been newly landscaped with comfortable chairs and covered parking.

Perfect cozy accommodation!

My second time to the Sarasota area and I planned my trip around being able to stay at this accommodation. Very clean, comfortable at just the right price. The host was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this cottage.

Fine Vacation Place

I like that the apartment is clean with comfortable modern decor. The neighborhood is quiet . The host is very pleasant but communication is limited. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.

Cozy & Comfortable

We had a great time at Michael's place. The communication was super easy. He was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. He was flexible with check-in and check-out times. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. Lido Beach was about a 15 minute drive and lots of places within walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for being such a kind host, Michael!

Highly recommend

We stayed in this property for 2 weeks and could not have been happier. The location is fantastic the hospitality of the host was brilliant and the accommodation was perfect for us. The area of Laurel Park felt very safe and welcoming. Close by were places to eat breakfast, grab a coffee have lunch or go for dinner. A little further but still walkable were more restaurants and shops. It was a short drive to some of the glorious gulf coast beaches. Great location. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and we could not fault the facilities supplied. Ample kitchen equipment should you want to stay in and eat, great lounge area to watch TV and relax and a comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage and hangers. There is also Wifi available. We found everything to be clean and in good working order. Perfect for us. Michael made us feel at home and was a brilliant host. He was happy to answer any questions we had and was a great help with his knowledge of the area. It was good to know he was on hand if we needed anything. Thank you Michael. We would highly recommend this property if looking to stay in the Sarasota area. Five stars all round.

Comfy Refuge in Laurel Park

My wife and I were in town for a stressful family event. Every evening we were so grateful to have Michael's elegantly appointed carriage house to be our refuge. Our host gave us a comprehensive tour of the rental when we arrived. Every design detail was expertly conceived and executed. We slept soundly each night and enjoyed the convenience of the full kitchen by day. Anyone looking for a lovely rental within walking distance to Sarasota's vibrant downtown area, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, shouldn't look any further than this unique carriage house.

A Perfect Affordable Vacation Rental

I was super impressed with the quality of the construction of the cottage and all the great new appliances. Had a modern decor theme and the location was ideal. You could not do any better than this rental.

Pleasant setting near Downtown

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was convenient to many restaurants, live theatre and opera, shopping. The host was pleasant and the unit was nicely decorated, fresh and clean. We are looking forward to returning.

Wonderful property and location!

This truly felt like home away from home. Plenty of room to work remotely for a few days and also vacation. The location was perfect-so close to walk downtown. I would prefer staying here over a hotel!

Perfect Location

Carriage House is perfectly located with a short walk to downtown and historic neighborhoods complete with restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. Easy drive to Siesta Key Beach and Lido Beach. The Host is amazing, we would stay again and highly recommend!!!

A great Home-Away-From-Home!

I loved my stay at this lovely property. Every amenity is top-of-the-line quality, including full size washer/dryer, fridge, and gas range. Loved the safe and quiet location with just a short walking distance to downtown and the bay. The high-speed internet was a plus and there is plenty of storage throughout the apartment. Michael was a very gracious host, and I would highly recommend this property for either a short or a long stay.

Exceeded expectations.

Perfect location (we walked everywhere). Lovely apartment (better than the pictures!). Amenities were excellent. Well appointed apartment. Cute deck. We have traveled extensively -- I am very picky. This one is A+.Michael is a great host. We definitely want to come back.

Fun and convenient location, comfortable and charming 'cottage'.

Michael, our host has done an amazing job of designing, decorating and stocking the rental with nice dishes, pots/pans and kitchen equipment to meet the food preparation/comfort of his guests. This allowed us to enjoy a combination of cooking in, packing picnics and dining out. There are shops, restaurants, galleries, museums, grocery stores and even a quaint cinema within walking distance. We had so much fun and wish we had more time to enjoy this location. Michael has done it 'right'.
