Som en slutenhet kommer vår gäst att njuta av en 180 graders utsikt från Ko'olaubergen och slås samman i det djupa Stilla havet! Känn dig som hemma med HD-kabel-TV, GRATIS höghastighetsinternet och men det är på kanten av Waikiki och Ala Wai vilket gör det mer avskilt men tillräckligt nära för att uppleva Waikikis "stadsliv." Det är en kort 5 minuters promenad till den världsberömda Waikiki Beach. (INGEN luftkonditionering i vardagsrummet, ENDAST sovrummet!)

Platsen är perfekt (445 Seaside Avenue)! Gå till Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center på cirka 5 minuter och den nyrenoverade International Marketplace på cirka 5-7 minuter. Alla Waikikis bästa stränder ligger bara några minuters promenad bort!
Ta ett uppfriskande dopp i utomhuspoolen eller koppla av i bastun och jet-spa. Ha ett snabbt träningspass i gymmet innan du simmar också!

Upplev kulan och solen, maten och nattlivet och "The View" med mycket Aloha här på Island Colony.

Everything you need to have a good time in Honolulu

Cross-breezes with balcony door and windows open allowed me 2 weeks without an air conditioner which was amazing! Incredible location and amenities, fully functional kitchen, although a little oddly arranged. Comfy bed, plenty of towels and sheets and supplies! Gorgeous views! Would highly recommend!

The futon beds in the living room were great for my 2 teenaged boys( 15&16), no complaints about being uncomfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and the amenities at Island Colony made for a great vacation.

Beautiful unit

They loved this unit on the 9th floor. The room was nice and clean, beautiful view of the ocean. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and lagoon. Air conditioner worked really well, kitchen had everything they needed to cook too. Everything was perfect!

Overall a simple place to stay with sound infrastructure and was as expected. Kitchen did not come with many amenities (nor utensils, pots, pans), but it is not a show stopper. Centrally located; 5 minute walk to the Waikiki; having AC was good. Faucet in tub was broken (constantly dripping), but we made it work.

Great view

My stay was lovely. The building is well located right in the middle of Waikiki shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the Udon place up the street, world famous with a long line. Order on-line, pick it up without any wait and bring it back to the apartment. I loved the view of the sunrise every morning. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows. The leather couches and the outdoor furniture was functional, but not excessively comfortable. However, the location and the view more than make up for it.

Definitely didn’t realize the amount of noise that would come with the property. Sirens and road noise all day/night. Front door left ajar when arriving at property, back door doesn’t open properly, water consistently drips from tub.

Great people, great service, issue with hot water for families with small children

Let me sum it up from the title. Great people, great condo, did not have a dishwasher, but who cares on vacation. The kitchen faucet was leaking. It was replaced immediately. Only issue for families with small children. The hot water in the building fluctuates from cold to searing hot. Our family was able to adjust when this happened. You might wish to keep on eye on younger kids when they are bathing.

Good location but lacking some bonus items

We stayed here in June and it was a great location. You do need to figure in $40 a day in parking to your overall cost and there are no real alternative places to park if you rent a car. Easy walking distance to the beach and all of downtown Waikiki. It was clean and had AC as well as lots of large windows for tradewinds. I wish it had some basic spices and more than one pan to cook it, but there was a rice maker and plenty of pots. Other places I have stayed also typically have a cooler and some other swim gear but this particular unit does not. We bought some and left it there. Other than those nits, it is a good deal and much better than a hotel if you want to eat healthier with a full kitchen.

Great location

Overall a good experience, but there are a few things that could be improved. For start the silverware needs to be replaced with some that are the same and look appealing, there was only one spoon. Since this is a beach property a small cooler should be available. The blue blanket needs to go because it is loosing material. And one last thing the shower does not have a constant temperature, now is hot and the next minute is cold. These are a few items that need attention, otherwise all good.

Great location but everything else just okay

This place wasn't the worst place you could stay but I wouldn't stay here again. The location was the best part about this place. It was like a 15 minute walk at the most to anywhere you wanted to be, so that was really nice. It is advertised as "professionally sanitized" but when we arrived, there were layers of dust built up on things and there was stuff on the walls. It wasn't terribly dirty, just not as clean as I was expecting with the way it is advertised. The shower is absolutely horrible, it runs scolding hot and then will switch to freezing cold in an instant; which was mentioned in previous reviews and they said they would be fixing it but hadn't. The bed was totally uncomfortable, very springy and hard. And the communication was also lacking a bit. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place but it's not bad if you're low on options.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Front desk told me 3 different things about the work out gym at the facility. Turns out to be cash only and only said that last minute never advertised it when checking in. The shower in the Airbnb itself does not work well. Water fluctuates between burning hot and ice cold but there’s a sweet spot of warm water but it doesn’t stay for long. The back door barley closes you basically have to pick the door up from the bottom and slide it across the whole thing and it makes a god awful sound

Great place! Needs a couple things

We stayed in this condo for 5 nights between Christmas and New Years and loved it. The condo was clean and had up-to-date furnishings and great views from the living room and lanai. Our 18 & 21 year old daughters appreciated having two separate pull-out couches instead of having to share :) The location was great - convenient to walk to the beach and all over. The more adventurous of our group even walked to Diamond Head and back. The convenience store on the 6th floor was great, as was the Duke's Marketplace around the corner. Loved our dinner at Zigu nearby. Downside: the place was lacking a few very basic things that a place like this should have: a spatula to flip eggs/pancakes, salt/pepper/oil (which they said they no longer provide due to covid but that seems a little ridiculous at this point - we know it's not transmitted through things like that), a couple extra pieces of silverware - there were only 4 mis-matched and poor quality forks and not enough spoons for all of us. The hair dryer was worse than those on the walls in the cheapest of hotels. We shared this information with the agent and they may address it but didn't during our stay. Less than $50 in a couple of small items would have made it everything we expect in a place.

It was decent

If this were a hotel I'd give it 2-3 stars. There's nothing fancy going on here, and there are some things a little run down on the property and in the room. A wall AC unit is cobbled into the bedroom and does not service the rest of the condo so my kids were pretty warm all week out in the livingroom on the futon beds. The balcony door is broken and you have to drag it open and closed. Bathroom sink doesn't drain well and the bathroom was a little grimey in the corners. But it was serviceable, again, about whst you'd expect from like a motel 6 or something like that. The "full kitchen" wasn't even stocked with a full set of silverware. There were a few old pots and pans with the nonstick coming off them so we decided not to use them. The coffee pot was broken so we had to plug it in to make coffee and then be sure to uplug it before we left for the day. But again, it was serviceable, I'm just not excited about it. The property was also just okay. It's a mixed live in condo building and rental property, which makes navigating repairs or issues with your room or whatever a bit confusing. The hotel front desk staff don't do anything for you besides check you in and give you your access fob for the building, everything else you deal with Alii Beach Rentals. And Alii Beach Rentals standard response is "no", they were not accomodating for anything I asked them for, which wasn't much. They also sent a repairman into our rental when I wasn't there with no advanced notice, so I wasn't happy about that, and then he didn't even fix anything. I don't think I'll be using Alii Beach Rentals again. This was the most affordable place I found but I booked last minute. Next time hopefully I'll have a little more advanced notice and can book elsewhere.
