Great Condo

We were very impressed with the condo and the owners. They communicated with us when we had questions. It's located near restaurants and highways. We will try to use it again when in the area.

Disney World

The property looks like Disney World on steroids... Not a welcoming building and terrible location. Had to drive 6 - 10 miles for decent restraunt. The apartment itself was spacious and clean.

The Grand Castle

We had a wonderful time staying at the castle in Grandville, Michigan. The employees who worked there were absolutely amazing if we had a lightbulb out or anything like that we called the office and they came right over to fix it. Pool was wonderful. It was easy to get onto the highways or to get any place whether it be to Lake Michigan or downtown Grand Rapids. We would absolutely stay there again. I give them five out of five.

Fun Environment

Clean. Great rooms and beds. Plenty of space to relax. Covered parking garage was a huge plus during that blizzard!

Very nice stay

We stay at the castle every year while visiting family. The apartments are spacious and clean. We love that the amenities have outlets for the kids when we don’t have our scheduled events. The library, the game room, the gym, etc.

Perfect for race weekend!

Right off the highway and only a few minutes to starting line in the park. Finding the designated parking was a bit tricky, even with the photo instructions, but once we figured it out, it was a breeze! Condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Thank you for providing washing machine pods and dryer sheets! We will visit again!

Perfect Landing

The furnished apartment was a perfect spot to land when a need arose to be closer to the Grand Rapids area for six weeks. To be able to have a place to come back to, relax and cook meals was invaluable. Those in the apartment building were so kind and those that managed this VRBO were ever so helpful as we needed to extend our stay. It was also the perfect spot to get many places easily and quickly. Plus, who doesn’t like living in a castle.

Grand Rapids greatness

No better place to stay with a friend or 2 just outside of Grand Rapids. The castle is cool. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. I absolutely loved the place. If you’re running a Spartan race in millennium park u can’t possibly pick a better spot for home base

Grandville Castle Family of 4

It was great to get to explore the Castle. 2 adults, 2 teens. We had a great time. The apartment was very nice, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. Only caveat was there was only one tv - in the living room. We would stay there again and will tell friends and family about it.

Great value. Apartment did have a strong smell of Marijuana. Website also did not give instructions on the pin number to enter the building. Only to gain enterence into the room.

Nice stay in a good location

We stayed at the Grand Castle apartment for a week. We were visiting our two kids who both live in the area (Walker and Holland). The unit was comfortable and well equipped and maintained. Liked the fact that it had a full sized washer and dryer. Unlike some VRBO rentals, this one didn't happen to have spices left from previous renters. There is a Meijer grocery store quite close by in Jennison. We were able to buy everything we needed there. Be ready to take groceries up to the 11th floor in the elevator. Those that lived full time seemed to make this easer by using a portable wagon. It was a great plus to have the trash chute so close to this apartment. Just a few steps away, and trash was taken care of without going outside. It was also a great plus to have parking inside. It did snow during our stay and this prevented the chore of having to clean/scrape the cars. I would rent this place again.

Smell

The Castle itself was so awesome! The thing we did not care for was our unit and getting to our unit. The unit itself was nice and clean but the smell was not. As we went down the corridor to our room the smell of cigarette smoke was bad. When we entered the room we could smell something but decided later perhaps it was the smell of smoothing they cleaned the room with . But after sleeping.there another night it seemed what we were smelling was some kind of spray to cover up smoke smell. We were staying there because of a wedding near by as well as some other family members. We went to visit others in their rooms and they definitely did not smell that way nor did the corridors you had to walk to get to their units. And when they came to see us they commented on the smoke smell. So we know now it was not our imagination. I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews but I would suggest you not stay in this particular unit. If we had not paid so much money to stay at this pace we would have not even unpacked our belongings and left to go find another motel. We had booked way ahead and our cancellation date was over by July 15th I think. Otherwise the place is so neat with the castle. If you have mobility problems you might not want to stay there. To get to our room or go visit family in different units it was quit a walk. Plus changing elevators to get to the right tower they were in.

Unique castle getaway for families

The apartment was just as advertised. Clean with modern furnishings. The check in instructions were helpful. Do follow the instructions as the castle is a big place when you receive the check in email. Our son had a blast at the pool and the game room. Mitten housing communication was prompt. No complaints. Only smiles and wonderful memories we shared while staying inside a castle.
