Cabin

Cabin was great, only downfall was that the wifi didnt work the whole time we were there and service was terrible so couldnt hardly use our phones during the stay. Location and privacy was great!

Good but a few things need more attention

Property was far enough away from town for quietness but close enough to have easy access to everything. Communication could be better. Manager responded after my stay was over. The hot tub works well but needs drained and cleaned and filter changed. When we turned on the jets the water had a stagnant smell and then we seen several pieces of mold in the water. This is an easy fix with more attention to detail. The living room tv has 3 remotes. We never did figure out how to watch anything. Again easy fix, leave some instructions and label the remotes since there’s 3 of them. The fireplace is a nice feature and made it feel more cozy. Overall it was a nice cabin with a good location.

Cozy and quiet

Definitley not super private like some cottages, but good convenient location. It was very clean where it mattered, i dont mind a little dust around hard to get to rafters. But if youre super picky its slightly dated and dusty in some areas. As previous reviews mentioned the bed isnt the best, but not terrible. The arcade game upstairs is a great touch as is the pool table. Didnt use the jetted tub in bedroom becasue the hot tub was great! The kitchen area is nice but no keurig, only 1 wine glass, and pretty minimal on other utencils and items. Also, the vacasa listing said wood burning fireplace, but there is only a gas one. Overall excellent cabin and would stay again! Just being honest so others know what to expect. Thanks again!

Amazing get away!

I think the best part was the location being close to everything. I loved the jetted tub, pool table, and arcade game (highscore on Mappy) 😋 the only suggestion I have is "oven mitts" I couldn't find them anywhere but I'm also hard of seeing 😂 I also couldn't understand how to flip through channels in the bedroom on the TV. I pushed soooo many buttons and it wouldn't flip the change. I tried all 3 remotes. It was stuck on a good channel so I wasn't really complaining. Overall it was very nice, my husband and I really enjoyed the place! 🥰

Was Disappointing

The hot tub never worked properly. I had to callto have it filled. There were lots of leaves and the jets never worked even after calling maintenance. I rented a cabin for the sole purpose of having a hot tub. And the bed frame was awful. We both walked into the corners thst stick out so far both bsshing our shins.

City slicker get away

The cabin was beautiful. Very clean except the mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The hot tub was warm, but not hot. The jets on the hot tub were barely functional. The main road up the mountain was less than 40’ from our balcony. Plus there were cabins upon cabins packed in right next to us. Not exactly a secluded getaway like I was expecting and I feel was presented in the listing.

Affair of the Heart Cabin

Unfortunately, didn't love much about this cabin. Could not use the hot tub the whole time we were there. I have pictures of it if anyone is interested. Living room fan did not work. TVs had to be connected upon arrival and one remote was missing a cover. There was some kind of creature behind the wall near the fireplace that made a lot of noise. There wasn't a propane tank for the grill so we could BBQ. The bed was not very comfortable. We have stayed at Sherwood Forest in the past but this was far from our best stay.

Cute Cabin

Cabin was very nice and located in a beautiful and convenient location to GSNP. There were two big issues the hot tub did not work which was a real disappointment after long days of hiking. Also the thermostat was set on a fixed temperature of 67 degrees which was too cold when the temperatures outside were in the 30's.

Should have been so much better!

The property looked the same as in photos & the location was great! A little bit of money & attention to detail could make this property great! Things like a toaster that works, a few hangers, an igniter so the grill works, dishes in the cupboard that are clean & dry, knives in the knife block, a spatula to flip the food you’re trying to cook. There is also, currently a problem with a pretty active critter in the fireplace chimney that needs to be taken care of. Vacasa was the managing company. They text me back right away when I contacted them about a few of the issues, but then they needed to contact someone local. I don’t plan to rent from them again

Nice cabin, close to everything

This cabin is in a great location! Master bedroom very nice and the hot tub, deck, grill, pool table and video game are all great extra amenities! We did have an issue with the cleaning prior to arrival as we found some areas that weren't cleaned well and dirty dishes in the cabinets. Also the kitchen accessories could use an update - there weren't a lot of serving utensils or glassware - esp wine glasses. It was very nice to have a supply of dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and even shampoo/conditioner which isn't often given in vacation cabin/house rentals! Overall a great little cabin and perfect for our getaway!

I booked this for a surprise getaway with my boyfriend and it was perfect! We had an issue with the toilet as soon as we got there and it was fixed within an hour. Wed definately stay here again!

Nice little cabin

We really enjoyed the pool table, arcade game, and hot tub. Clean, comfortable, close to everything but far enough to feel out of the city. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great Cabin

Everything was wonderful EXCEPT the hot tub was broken. This is not something that just happened either. We still had an amazing time but it definitely put a little damper on the trip.

Retirement Getaway

We rented the Affairs of the Heart cabin for our first retirement getaway. It worked perfectly for us! We visited the surrounding areas during the day and came home to sit in the hot tub. Vacasa did well with communicating needed information from the time we made our reservation to the time we checked out. Over the hill from Sherwood Forrest is Farm Winery. The cabin is up in the hills, but close to the main road in Pigeon Forge.

It was nice

It was a great stay and awesome views the only thing I would’ve liked better was if the sink in kitchen was fixed it was completely inoperative. We couldn’t wash dishes we had to basically eat out the entire time the pipe was broken under the sink! Other than that it was great!
