Perfect Getaway

The home was ideally located close to all the resort activities. Lovely home with a great layout for friends/family weekend as everyone had plenty of their own space. Enjoyed watching the deer from the deck on their morning hike up the hill. Perfect for a relaxing vacation, but still 5 minutes from anything you would need. Highly recommend!

Cozy Mountain Home

We stayed in this cozy home over Christmas! The VRBO description doesn’t do it justice. It is truly a home away from home! It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. The location was great and extremely quiet. The only issue we had was that we could not watch the tv in the living room. There was also a dvd player attached to it but we could not get it to play any dvds either. However, there is a tv in the garage bonus bedroom and we were able to watch tv up there. All in all, I would highly recommend this rental!

Great place!

Perfect place that had EVERYTHING! Even had a sewing kit that we desperately needed for our wedding we were getting ready for! Hosts were great and very responsive too!

JMU Graduation

Perfect place for our family to stay for the JMU graduation weekend. The house is very clean and extremely well-stocked with multiples of almost everything you could need in the kitchen. Lots of space to spread out and the beds were very comfortable. Tons of extra pillows, blankets and towels! Lisa was very prompt with replies to questions and so easy to work with. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the crowds on campus and 20 mins to CrossKeys Winery for a group brunch! JMU parents, this is a home run if you have a group or want to be away from the crowd!!!

Great House and Great Location

We really enjoyed out stay at this property. It was very clean and the location was great for getting to the ski slopes. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Communication with the host was extremely prompt and they took care of a small issue very promptly. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 out 5 was the tv had no streaming apps and we tried to watch a dvd movie but the remote was very finicky. And most of the bedrooms didn't have tvs. Also the loft bedroom was really a hallway with a day bed in it. I would have given it a 4.75/5 if an option because just a few minor things but overall a great place to stay.

Wonderful Massanutten Option

Perfect for families or small groups. Lots of care went into ensuring the kitchen and other rooms are well-stocked. The location halfway up Massanutten makes it convenient for getting to the ski-related areas and out to the nearby town.

JMU visit

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting our daughter at JMU over family weekend. Our family of 6 had all the room we needed, and the place was immaculate. The house is just beautiful and so well thought out. Love all the windows and being nestled in the trees. I don't think I've ever stayed in such a well stocked place, and the owners supply just about everything needed (other than food). Everyone said their bed was very comfortable and slept well. It was a beautiful and easy drive to JMU. My family all want to stay here again and now want to plan more trips to the Harrisonburg area. Highly recommend!!

Mother/Daughter Ski weekend

This was a memorable trip for our 11-year-old daughters. We all thought the house was beautiful, the nicest one on the block! The bedroom setup was perfect, and the rooms were a good size, with lots of options for sleeping arrangements. We didn't use the private bedroom over the garage. Location was great, 5 mins to all the activities - skiing, snow tubing, ice skating, and water park. The kitchen was well equipped. Lisa was quick to respond to my questions. It was a great visit!

Relaxing and Peaceful

If you want a cozy peaceful getaway, this is the house for you. They have everything you could possibly need except food. If you have food this a great pspot to be snowed in. I didn't want to leave.

Family time

The house is in a great location. Had a small back yard. Very well stocked for cooking dishes and pans. Nice gas grill , ping pong table and corn hole games. Nice deck for siping coffee, eating and enjoying the birds chirping. In very good condition and clean.

Perfect family accommodations for Graduation weekend!

We absolutely loved this house! It offered everything we needed and more. The room over the garage was perfect for parents and a 2 month old! The main floor bedroom / bath was wonderful for grandparents. Kitchen was stocked with every gadget needed for cooking there. Beautiful place to stay for a special occasion:)

Warm and Welcoming

Upon arrival, it was every easy to feel the warmth of this home from the moment we opened the door. The physical warmth was compounded by the warmth of the hospitality offered by the host, Lisa. We had to reschedule due to a winter storm and so we had more communication than usual by arrival time, all warm, informational and accommodating. The home offered spaciousness yet quiet nooks to get away. The kitchen was fabulous for equipment and space. At one point there were 5 adults around the island preparing dinner and there was still plenty of space to spare. For sleep, there are lots of options and the beds are very comfortable. This area of Virginia is just lovely with much to do in and outside of the resort. We are definitely looking forward to a return visit. Thank you, Lisa!
