Perfect location!!

This location was tucked away near the Pass. It felt like we were at a secluded beach. The view was amazing! This will be a regular spot for my family from now on.

Grand Pointe Condo 408

We had such an amazing trip! The condo was absolutely perfect. It was clean, accommodating, decorated very cute and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. It exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be coming back!

Very accommodating home. Had 3 rooms with private bathrooms, washer/dryer. Stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the home. Would suggest a regular can opener instead of electric because it didn’t work very well but that’s my only complaint. I would definetly book again!

Girls Getaway

Beautiful views and plenty of room. The condo was very clean. The only issues I have is that furniture in living room needs to be updated, and the master bedroom mattresses and the twin bed mattresses were so hard! They definitely need to be replaced!

Great location, roomy condo

Great space for our family of 4. We love the location and walkable restaurants with beach, bay, pools and options for all! I would recommend a deep clean of air vents and such but overall felt clean. Also would recommend rugs in some areas to soften the tile and the moisture of the doors are open. I also think all beach rentals should include beach towels and chairs but it wasn’t advertised- I just think that’s something we shouldn’t be responsible for bringing or purchasing. Overall it was a great stay.

Amazing place, great view, very clean & quite. Love being on the beach. Would highly recommend a dead bolt for the inside of the door. Little children like mine can easily get out in a heartbeat. Overall 5/5 experience and we will be back.

The location to the beach is great. Glad the building was not a high-rise since we had the Grandkids. And loved that each room had a bathroom. It was great to have an icemaker in the unit.

Not exactly accurate in listing

Check in was easy. View from balcony is phenomenal! Nice touch from Vacasa for leaving welcome samples of soap, Toilet paper etc!. Furniture had broken springs in couch and recliners. Multiple stains on couch and recliners. Decorative couch pillow was ripped. No instructions on working the tv/dish network. Kitchen very well equipped. Cabinets under sink have the finish peeling off. Bedrooms were large and clean.. Outdoor hot tub, outdoor grills not functional. Indoor treadmills not functional. We were told by on-site property manager that all above had been non functional for several months and that repairs may be done for when "busy season" started. Internet very slow and not secure. Internet password was non functional. Required many calls to Vacasa. Some responses from Vacasa were very timely and precise to issues. However it took 8 days and several calls to Vacasa to get a response regarding the non functional grills, hot tub, and treadmills. Since the weather was cool, the lack of grills and exercise equipment did cause some disappointment. My spouse was so frustrated that he began documenting each issue as we discovered it and the response (or lack of response ) from Vacasa. We spent a lot of time sightseeing so we had fun In spite of all of the issues!

Nice room needs some repairs

The view was nice, the room and hotel were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The room needed a few repairs. In the second master every time you turned the water on in any room you would hear this god awful squealing noise. The toilet seat in the hall bath was broken and the stove didn’t work very well. There was no salt and pepper in the room and the pots and pans need to be replaced. The pool was clean and the beach was peaceful! Overall we enjoyed the stay.

With polish, this will be a 5 star

5 star would mean the unit and experience couldn’t be any better. Unfortunately this unit is being held back. All of what I wrote was communicated to VACASA via the “help” via the app during the first days of he stay and was not responded to until I made a follow up call to the “local” VACASA office. -the stovetop is useless. Will not remain hot. Has elements with the drip pans wrapped in aluminum foil. Not nice, and partly what limited it’s use. Some sort of old safety button in the middle of each element as well.. couldn’t boil water. Couldn’t cook bacon… wouldn’t stay hot. -the unit was not clean. Sand on floor day 1. Lots of sand when we used the hideabed in the sofa. No sheets for hideabed, just a sandy fitted sheet, and blankets in the closets that didn’t seem to have been cleaned. Extremely flat pillows throughout without pillow cases also in the closets. All pillows throughout the unit were very well used and very flat. -the floors have several iterations of tile install, and the main ones are needing deep clean. -the cover on the couch is dirty/stained, and need cleaning/replacing. -we think the unit was recently pained, prob post-Sally. It was done without regard and the paint is over missing frames, electric box (didn’t impact or stay, just not neat) -electric plugs push into walls -the big beautiful porch has amazing furniture and view. Unfortunately, the tiles are loose and coming up. The random table to the left is to disguise the loose tiles -the vacuum n the unit does nothing. Of course that was needed as we wanted to try and clean up the sand upon check in. We found a broom and swept. -kitchen sink is very worn and the cabinets have the white exterior veneer peeling back badly. Location is amazing. Pools amazing. Outdoor grill area amazing. Unit needs updating and through deep clean. I will look to stay at Grande Pointe again, but will book away as that unit was in front or condition, and they did not respond to our checking concerns, or offer any remedy for the inconveniences caused, especially not being able to cook for our large family…
