Lyx ett sovrum stuga över 3 våningar. Veckouthyrning inkluderar färska handdukar och sängbyte vid ankomst. Fantastisk utsikt från bottenvåningen och sovrums balkong. 5 minuters promenad från Looe hamn. Helt självständig med inbyggd diskmaskin, kyl / frys, tvättmaskin / torktumlare och fri utsikt. Plattskärms-TV i vardagsrum och sovrum. Gratis trådlöst nätverk. Jacuzzi med dubbel dusch. Beläget på en sluttning med utsikt över floden ger denna pittoreska stuga med vacker utsikt en känsla av lugn och avkoppling.

Stuga tillgång

Platsen för Pendruffle Cottage är helt unik som ligger på en kulle med underbar utsikt över East Looe River och havet. Tillgången från huvudvägen till stugan är väl skyltad via en dubbel träport genom en skogsväg med en vass högerböjning som leder upp till den utrustade parkeringsplatsen för Pendruffle själv. Stugan är då närmade från parkeringen med en nedåtgående lutningsväg med en handskena för någon med gångproblem med Pendruffle som andra stugan på vänster sida. Stugan har sin egen väg med en stigning med några steg upp till bottenvåningen uteplats och ingång.

För att komma åt Looe från stugan svänger du till vänster längst ner på Pendruffle vägen gå upp vägen tills du kommer till några steg som leder ner till Barclay House uppfart där du kan komma åt "St Johns Walk" som leder till huvudvägen som för mycket Första delen har ingen gångväg så att du behöver ta hand om det. Utförsåkningsturen in i byns centrum tar bara cirka 10 minuter. Alternativt är det en 2 minuters bilresa för dem som inte tycker om uppförsbackan promenad tillbaka

Wonderful cottage and location

We had a wonderful time in Looe, hiking and cycling. Pendruffle Cottage is beautifully located and we had everything we needed to enjoy our 2 weeks vacation! Contact with the owners was great, with tips where to eat etc. In short, we recommend Pendruffle Cottage if you want to explore Cornwall!

Top Quality accommodation.

Great quality accommodation... Clean, warm, modern windows and doors, great jacuzzi bath, almost everything you need for cooking prep etc, WiFi, blue Ray, netflix, amazon alexa etc etc definitely recommended.

Very comfortable and tranquil.

Perfect for two people looking for some peace and quiet. Slept really well in a large and comfortable bed. Cottage was well located for use as a base for coastal walks during the day and an easy walk into Looe town meant that lots of different restaurants were possible for evening meals. Highly recommended.

Cornish Getaway Recommended

The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. An ideally located cottage, 10 minutes walk from the beautiful seaside town of Looe, and 5 minutes from train station. The host provided everything we needed for our stay, and was helpful throughout. The cottage itself in a very quiet location, ideal for a peaceful break, overlooking the Looe Valley with nothing but nature at your doorstep. Highly recommended!

Well designed holiday cottage for two

Well designed holiday cottage for two, withgreat views across the river valley. The cottage was well-equipped and suited us very well. Visitors should be aware that the property is on a hillside, and consequently access is via a number of steps. Also, pedestrian access to Looe starts on an A-road with no walkway.

Relaxing

We stayed for 6 days from 17th to 23rd June 2023 We had a lovely relaxing time in the cottage with everything you could need there, the bed is large and soo comfy didn’t want to get out of it ! The weather was kind to us which is unusual we always seem to pick the wrong week with the u.k weather being a bit hit and miss and we spent the week in shorts It’s in a great location to explore surrounding areas Just be careful on the little lane up and down to the parking space it freaked me out it’s very steep with a sharp turn but my little car managed it lol ! The owners give you a call to welcome you and are at the other end of the phone if you need them Loved the bedroom balcony highly recommend 😍😍😍

Pendruffle Cottage in Looe for 5 Nights in September

The cottage is situated on a hill side just outside Looe town centre. It’s suitable for people without mobility problems due to an inclined pathway from the car park and steps to access the cottage. There’s a designated parking spot which is great. The driveway leading up from St Martin’s road is narrow with a steep and sharp right hand bend but take it carefully and most cars will be fine! I’d recommend driving down into Looe to avoid a walk along the busy road with no pavement. The cottage has views over the tree tops lining the valley. You can’t see the river from the cottage but the view is still nice. The cottage was clean and comfortable, well equipped and fairly spacious with three short flights of stairs leading to the kitchen and then the bedroom and bathroom. Towels and linen were provided. It has a free view tv in the lounge with Wi-Fi and Netflix (sign in yourself) which was welcome. I’d recommend this cottage to a couple wanting peace and quiet as a base to visit places such as Looe, Polperro and Mevagissy.

Gemütliches kleines Cottage!

Wir sind Selbstversorger und haben alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchen. Sehr gute Ausstattung! Das Doppelbett ist sehr breit und super bequem. Im Wohnzimmer konnten wir es uns abends gemütlich machen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist toll.

Entspannung pur!

Pendruffel Cottage ist ein wunderschön, gepflegtes Cottage in ruhiger Lage mit wunderbarer Aussicht ins Grüne. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet allen Comfort, wie zu hause auch. Besonders die voll augestattete Küche hat mich gefreut! Zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt und kann frischen Fisch kaufen oder in einer der sehr guten Bäckereien einkaufen. Die Küste läd ein, schöne Wanderungen auf dem West Coast Path zu machen oder die Gegend zu erkunden. Insgesamt sollte aber jeder der kommt, gut zu Fuß sein, denn das Cottage liegt am Hang und es gibt viele Treppen. Dafür wird jeder mit wunderschönen Aussichten und Sonnenuntergängen über dem Fluß belohnt. Danke für die schönen zwei Wochen im Cottage und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great Base

I could not recommend this place enough. The accommodation is set out well and well appointed. Everything you might need and more has been provided down to Tassimo coffee. Looe is a fantastic place to be and the accommodation provides great access just a 10 minute walk away. Ok, the walk is uphill with quite a few steps but it gets the blood pumping. If I visit this part of Cornwall again I’d definitely look to booking this property.

Beautiful property and location

Enjoyed our stay . Everything had been thought of to make guests feel at home. Only downside , which is not any fault of the owners , is the access from Looe involves a short stretch on a busy road without a pavement which was problematic for our dog. We had to carry him for that part which was very difficult up a steep incline! All in all we had a great time and would recommend the property .

Lovely property

This property was lovely, great for a couple ( and dog !). Really clean and good place to stay, loved the bedroom and its views. Short walk into Looe, very short part of which is on road without pavement but really no problem. Only shame was the awful weather, but that can’t be helped !

Perfect place for a respite from Covid-19!

We had a lovely stay at Pendruffle cottage in Looe. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. The place is quiet, which is perfect for relaxing! We opted for a holiday in a cottage during Covid-19 pandemic to generally cook our own food (or pick up takeaways) in order to avoid crowded restaurants. The kitchen provides everything you need to prepare a decent meal. The only thing missing was washing machine (laundry) detergent. We had our breakfast and dinners on the terrace each time the weather allowed it! If you are hikers, we strongly suggest to walk to the lovely fishermen’s village of Polperro. Polruan is also a must. If you want to get away from the sea, a visit at National Trust’s Lanhydrock park is worth the 30-minute car ride.

My wife and I bought this cottage as our Cornish hideaway. We loved it so much we decided to share its uniqueness with other couples who wanted something that little bit different.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We stayed in this actual cottage years ago when it was part of the hotel. When the cottages were subsequently separated from the hotel and came up for sale we liked it so much we bought it.

It is in a unique spot away from the hustle and bustle of Looe but only a matter of minutes away. With its stunning views overlooking the estuary that flows into the sea and its amazing sunsets it offers a real feeling of tranquillity and calm.

With it's unique layout over 3 floors, that all flow into one another and it's beautiful views you cant help but feel relaxed.

The ground floor terrace or bedroom balcony is where you can enjoy an alfresco breakfast and a romantic evening glass of wine while watching the summer sun set over the Looe valley/river.
