Major Issues - Safety and Cleanliness
Multiple issues with this home. The house was not clean upon arrival. There was broken glass in the floor and vomit on a throw pillow on a bed. Housekeeping did not come until the next day to address these issues. They do not wash bedding after every guest per housekeeping. Deck needs replaced, but maintenance just keeps nailing down nails and painting over rotten deck boards. We called before our vacation and asked if the deck had been addressed. They told us âyes.â We recommend bringing outdoor rugs for your own safety until the deck is replaced. Railing is wobbly and not safe. Pool was full of sand/dirt upon arrival. Carpet has trails of dirt. Tile is cracked and broken. Furniture is very old and worn out. There were only 4 coffee mugs in the whole house. The kitchen faucet leaks. There was an outlet without an outlet cover. Vacasa never addressed that even after we sent them a picture of the safety hazard. The WiFi is not good so streaming is pointless. We saw roaches and ants. They did add a foosball table and arcade that was fun for the kids. You have to walk up a rather steep sand dune with no boardwalk to access beach. They donât supply dish towels or rags for the kitchen. Vacasa was very unprofessional during each interaction. We do not recommend dealing with them. All in all, itâs a large home with a long list of maintenance needed, and the owners do not care.
