Nice place in a convenient location

It was a pleasant stay and well stocked. The host was great at communicating and making sure we had the information we needed. I would recommend using GPS to help you get around the one way streets in Ketchikan.

Perfect VRBO

This was the perfect location for Ketchikan, centralized and in a great area for walking distance as well. The rooms were very private and very spacious. The unit was fully stoked with everything which made things very easy for me traveling with my family. We hope to stay here on all of our future Ketchikan trips.

Adorable stay

My family came down to fish and visit some family in the area. This was the perfect, clean and adorable place to stay. The home seemed to have about everything we needed for cooking/washing/relaxing. The bedding was lovely and the art was beautiful!! We would absolutely stay again!

Great location clean and modern

Perfect place for our family. They had a crib and a baby seat and the bed arrangements worked great. Two bathrooms, very clean and close to everything. The grill worked great! We are from ketchikan and we’re home for a funeral. It was a great setup and would definitely stay here again. Also loved the entryway to take shoes and coats off with a couple of seats. Very nice.

Extremely nice rental, super close to everything

We were even more pleasantly surprised than the pics - this place is NICE. Very well kept, extremely clean, has everything you could need. Plus, a fantastic washer and dryer which is helpful if you end up getting soaked in the Ketchikan rain. We had a rental car (which was necessary), and it was less than a mile to just about everywhere we needed/wanted to go. The hosts were very communicative, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location

This place was very comfortable and an easy walk to town. It was perfectly between town and the grocery store. It had all the amenities needed for the kids, myself and grand parents. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend others.

got lost

our one and only complaint is that, because we are unfamiliar with Ketchikan, we did not know that there is a 1st ave and a 1st street. we arrived after dark and were looking for the address on 1st street. It took us a long time and asking people questions before we found the place.

No regrets

The location is great! We walked or took the bus everywhere. The bus stop is conveniently a few steps down the hill. Take the nearby Rainbird trail, a lot of steps, but worth it! The kitchen is nice and big. Check what is stocked in the kitchen before hitting Safeway, which is a short walk away. This home is just as advertised,

Everything was great (because there were only 4 adults)

No complaints about property. Everything was in good condition and easy to communicate. My only complaint is that even though you could technically have 6 adults, 4 is a realistic max. Fortunately not all of our group came and we only had 4 show up.

Lovely place to stay

While in Ketchikan this was a lovely place to stay. Easy walk to the bus and the supermarket. The walk into town was about one mile and was safe and easy. Plenty of things to see along the way. The owner was very responsive. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Alaska Experience

Location is close to downtown, easy to get to activities such as fishing and far enough from downtown to be quiet at night. Owners are responsive and very easy to work with.

Hi! I'm Rebecca, and along with my husband Oscar, we love Ketchikan. Oscar is a life-long Alaskan fisherman, and although I only started fishing in the last 7 years, I have grown to love it too. We also like exploring the beaches here in Ketchikan. There is always something new to see on our little island.

When we are not in Ketchikan, we like to travel and see what the the other 49 states are up to. We try to make it to Hawaii any chance we can, to get that vitamin D.

So we welcome trades for Hawaiian housing!

We have remodeled this unit with fishermen in mind. There is plenty of room and beds for all your fishing buddies or family, and a large kitchen for tasting the fruits of your labors.
