Mike and Wanda — WOW. What an incredible stay. From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special. The heated floors alone deserve their own five-star review After long days on the snowmobile trails, coming back to warm floors felt like winning the lottery (or at least finding a gas station with no line in Vilas County ).The bed? So comfortable we briefly considered “accidentally” extending our stay. The living area is absolutely beautiful — cozy, inviting, and the perfect place to unwind with a drink and swap trail stories.But the true highlight? Our morning “wake-up crew.” Nearly 30 deer gathered around the house each morning like we were hosting some kind of Northwoods wildlife convention 🦌🦌🦌 It was honestly magical. Coffee in hand, snow falling, deer everywhere — we’ll remember that forever. It felt like a Hallmark movie, but with more camouflage and fewer city people.The proximity to the trails was absolutely perfect — hop on and go. And that turnaround driveway? A dream. Anyone who has ever maneuvered a trailer in the snow knows that’s no small thing Everything about this place is thoughtful, comfortable, and truly dialed in for a proper Up North experience. We made memories here that we’ll talk about for years.Thank you, Mike and Wanda — we will absolutely be back! 🛷

The cabin was a great place for our friends winter getaway! Mike and Wanda were very friendly and helpful with local suggestions. They even dropped off some corn for us to feed deer who came right up to the door to eat. Very close to Boulder Junction's main street and lots of other activities.

Great Location

Mike and Wanda were a pleasure to deal with. The communication with them from beginning to end was seamless. The house was cozy and very clean and they had a bowl of snacks waiting for us. The driveway was large enough for our 3 place snowmobile trailer and we were able to easily access the trail through the back of the property. The house is located close enough to town so that we could walk into town if needed. It was also nice having deer hang out in the front yard most of the day. I would definitely stay here again!

Snowmobile weekend stay

The Amazing Grace Retreat property worked great for our group snowmobiling weekend. Would definitely stay again. It's conveniently located, has a nice circular driveway which was great for parking the trucks & trailers. The property itself is very modern, clean and kept in very nice shape. While it's close to town and convenient is was quiet and peaceful, we had deer right outside the window in the mornings. Mike and Wanda are fantastic hosts, glad we were able to meet Mike upon check-in and get an overview of the property. Highly recommended.

Amazing Stay at Amazing Grace

The hosts met me at the home and showed us every part of the home. The home was exactly as listed and more, the hosts went above and beyond with a gift basket and full tray of toiletries for our use. We had a perfect stay and will be back soon.

Beautiful,secluded home

House is beautiful and comfortable. Lots of deer and turkey visitors daily. Just a few blocks from downtown but you'd never know it. Set back in the woods and you can't see or hear the neighbors. We've already booked our vacation here for next summer.

Always a great stay!

We come up every year to celebrate our kids' birthdays. Despite the lack of snow we enjoyed our stay. We loved seeing "our deer friends" every morning and afternoon. The cabin is perfect for just 2 people or the whole family.

So cozy and clean

10 out of 10. Host was very nice when he met us at the property to let us in and go over a few things. We stayed to do winter activities and the heated floors were awesome after a long day/night on the lake icefishing. Very clean place with everything needed in the fully stocked kitchen. They even had a basket of snacks. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Great location, walked for coffee every day. Such a well kept home, lots of personal touches & so clean. Highly recommend & hope to stay there again. Was also perfect for bringing our dog, which is hard to come by.

Good off-water property

It was a nice centrally located property in town close to many lakes. Good place to stay if you like to bring your own boat and fish a variety of different lakes.

Nice Getaway

Clean rental nestled in the woods. Deer seen regularly on property if you are looking for some up close encounters. Communication with Mike was top notch. We did lose internet /tv connection for a bit, internet was restored in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we left a few things behind but Mike and Wanda packed them up and sent them on their way… very grateful! Thank you

Loved our stay!

The property was just as listed. It was very clean and came with almost everything you could need. It was a very quite and peaceful property yet close to downtown. This made it an easy walk to shops and other establishments. The owners were wonderful. They checked in periodically to make sure everything was alright. We loved our stay and would absolutely book here again the next time were in the area.

Beautiful Northwoods Retreat

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and comfortable. We were close to many lakes for beach and fishing outings. The downtown area for shopping and food was within walking distance. Mike and Wanda were helpful and accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great trip. We cannot wait to come back in the near future!

We absolutely Love Boulder Junction and the Northwoods! There are so many fabulous lakes, towns, trails, etc.etc. Can’t seem to ever find enough time to explore all of the surroundings! ( Just so much to see) If this is your first visit or one hundredth we are sure you will agree! So much to do so little time.
