Loved our stay here! Very clean and Well provisioned with plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and ice packs. Beds were very comfortable and lots of room to spread out. Super convenient location— literally a 2 min walk across the street to the beach and plenty of dining options! would def book again the future.

Perfect, clean and spacious home base for our family

We had a great stay at Haleakala Shores. The unit was very clean and well furnished. Spacious living space with 2 bedroom spaces on either side and 2 nice bathroom spaces. We had everything that we needed during our stay. Parking spot was very convenient. We loved being directly across the street from a beach and beautiful ocean view. We didn't use the pool because we were busy on outings but it looked nice and well kept. Communication was great with very clear instructions for arrival and departure.

Comfortable stay

The property had everything we needed, and was exactly as shown in the photos. The beds were comfortable, the couches gave us room to spread out, the kitchen had everything we needed for a couple of meals at home. There were some added things we hadn’t seen that were great - ice chests, boogie board, pool noodles, chairs, umbrella and a wagon for beach days

Beautiful Location

Loved this location. So close to the beach. The amenities in the condo were great along with beach toys. We watched whales and sunsets right from the deck on some nights. I don't have anything negative to say!!

Perfect!

This condo was perfect for our family of 5 which included 3 teenagers. We loved the convenience of the beach across the street and being central on the island to so many places to explore. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance. We felt right at home with all the provided supplies for comfort inside the condo and with chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and more for adventures on the island. Communication was amazing and any need was met quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Wouldn’t have changed a thing!

This has been, by far, the BEST rental property I’ve stayed at. Location was perfect — just a two minute walk to the beach. The actual property was perfect: great size rooms, comfortable beds, laundry unit in the location, AC and fans in both rooms, spacious seating area, balcony eating area, etc. Not only that, but they had anything you could think of that you would need for the beach. Beach towels, cart to take your supplies in, beach umbrella, volleyball and volleyball net, cooler — I just truly can’t say enough good things. This rental property made our vacation go as smoothly as possible. Mahalo!

Happy to recommend this unit and happy to come stay here again! It was also very easy to deal with the property management - communication was easy and clear.

Better than I could have imagined.

The rental was huge, clean, and beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay-- chairs for the beach, a cooler for road trips, every dish and appliance we needed. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the pool was lovely. It was so great to have designated parking. We could walk to the beach in minutes, and the property is near lots of great shops and places for food. We really felt at home in this apartment and cannot wait to come back. ❤️

Location!

This was such a convenient location for our family, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It housed us comfortably and we will most definitely be back. Only constructive feedback would be a suggestion to have softer light bulbs in some of the lamps (not fluorescent), but that was a very minor. All in all, we were very pleased.

Very Nice Stay

The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms are clean and we especially appreciate it. The fluffy towels. The beds are comfortable and nicely furnished.The unit’s location is excellent. The pool is nice, not very big, but definitely enjoyable. The outside structure is dated and the elevator area needs cleaning and painting. We recommend this unit as it is a quaint reminder of how a family can afford a beautiful week in Maui without having to pay high resort fees. We would love to return someday.

Back to Haleakela Shores

We have been coming to Maui since our honeymoon 45 years ago. Many times at Haleakela Shores and it never disappoints. A408 is a beautiful unit that we would highly recommend. Few rental units have as nice an ocean view. Nicely and recently updated. Best parking spot in the development. Very quiet. Well stocked for the beach. Management company very responsive when we had a plumbing issue. Another vacation in paradise.

Good Location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the building is a little old, it has everything you need for your stay. (Tableware, beach amenities, etc.) Since the sea is right in front of us, we could go to the sea right away. We also saw many turtles on the beach in front of us. In the morning, we could see whales from a distance. We were able to walk to the shops in Kihei and a short drive to Wailea. The only thing that bothered me was that there were birds chirping on the roof in the evening and it was noisy. It's fine once you get used to it, but it was surprisingly noisy at first. However, I would stay there again. The key was electronic, and check-in and check-out were also mobile, which was very convenient. I'm Japanese, but I used a translator and had no problems. I was able to contact the management company (Rentals Maui) at any time and was able to stay with peace of mind.

Wonderful

comfy, quiet (we did not see any other renters) Easy access to the beaches and stores. Weather was great. The AC units were loud and annoying but it did keep the temperature down. The price was right I'll be back. Thanks
