My family of 4 (2 teen boys) recently stayed at Heart Rock River Retreat. We loved everything about it. Cabin is as advertised. There was plenty of space for everyone with the upstairs loft having a bed for 2 & an en-suite bathroom and the downstairs bedroom having a bunk bed (bottom bunk queen size) & another full bathroom just right outside the door. This would be a great place for families larger than mine as 3 children could easily use the bunk beds and another could sleep on the couch. There's also a lot of floor space in the upper loft. When not in the park, my husband loved using the upstairs desk which faced the large window over looking riverside and I loved sitting outside on the deck, listening to the water roll by. The river runs just behind the cabin! The cabin could not be more conveniently located to Glacier's West entrance! It's probably a 5min drive to the park entrance, yet the cabin's tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood.
The cabin was clean & the owner is organized with labels on each light switch & under the countertop & a binder of info. I didn't cook during our stay but I could see the kitchen was well stocked. We had plenty of towels (really good, large ones, at that), tp, paper towels, trash bags, etc. I bring all that stuff with us, but I could see, the host had everything stocked for what a visitor may need - including bear spray. The host did a great job of communicating before and during our stay. I definitely recommend this place.
