Close to everything!

DO NOT RECOMMEND - Roach Infestation, Damage to Unit, and Lack of communication

Read this for an honest review of the place! First of all upon arrival and throughout our stay, we encountered numerous unacceptable conditions. There was a roach Infestation (not just 3-5 roaches, over 10 roaches and alive) one of which CRAWLED on my daughter. We called to report to Vacasa an hour into checking in and were told they refuse to relocate us or refund us because this was not a good enough reason.. It was so unsanitary and disgusting! After calling for an update regarding our complain, since they NEVER provided us any call back, they stated they would reach out to the 'local team' and would have pest control would come. ONCE AGAIN, we call to ask when pest control would come and they couldn't even tell us and pretty much told to deal with the roaches until they come. The roach infestation is still going on. Aside from the issue above there were more problems that just made the whole place uninhabitable. The refrigerator was leaking water, leading to a slippery kitchen floor and potential safety hazard. Dead dragonflies in the pool, probably because of damage to the screening of the pool which also is UNSAFE. We attempted to reach Vacasa multiple times to report these issues and seek assistance but received minimal to no communication or follow-up, which only added to our frustration. 100% will never book here again. If I could add picture to this review I would because we have all the proof. Do not book here!

Great location and quite place

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful vacation home and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The location was perfect - nestled in a serene area with breathtaking views that provided the ultimate relaxation. The amenities were top-notch; from the cozy bedrooms to the well-equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. The cleanliness of the vacation home was impeccable, which immediately made me feel at ease. The gate service was exceptional - the host was friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Overall, my experience at this vacation home was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home. I can't wait to return for another stay in the future!

3 day Orlando trip

The beds in this condo were probably the most comfortable I’ve slept on at a VRBO. The water park area at the clubhouse was an awesome “freebie” for us after spending so much at Universal! We had drinks from the pool bar and ate at the clubhouse. Food and drinks were delicious. The only cons were, the master bath drain is backed up and tub fills quickly during your shower. The guest bathroom’s towel rack did fall off when we tried to hang a towel back up, but I’m sure these will be fixed. There is NO seasonings, like salt and pepper, so make sure you bring some. There’s a grocery store in the vicinity. I was able to DoorDash everything that I needed!

The place was nothing like the pictures, the bath tube, walls, floors, beds, sheets, towels, everything was disgusting, pool was really gross, mold in bathrooms, no cover in mattresses just a very tiny dirty sheet, the place is very unsanitary, unpleasant smell everywhere, the customer service was horrible, the Brno was helpless as well. We left the place in the same day, had so much stress trying to get relocated or refunded and they didn’t, we had to pay for another stay eith another vacation rental. Don’t go there, do t go with Vacasa or even bebo, they don’t help

Good place

Had a great vacation. Property was as depicted. Liked the clubhouse didn't like you couldn't bring water. I understand drinks but I don't like paying for water when I already have it. Don't forget your code or a pic or you can't get in. Rooms were nice i wish beds were not springy and wish it had one king in master but didn't kill vacation. It was easy to keep cool appliances were nice.

The wifi didn't work, and the pool heat wasn't included in the stay and (without my knowledge) needed 72 hours notice if we wanted the pool heater on. Otherwise, everything else was good and I would recommend this property in the future.

Mold, no sleeping in.

The size of rooms were decent. Smart thermostat is nice. Would be wise to invest in smart lock. Further issues with guest entry can be resolved instantly and remotely. Pool needs a better cleaning crew. Water is green. Pool had sediment at bottom. Hose was left out , mold / algae outside pool, late check in denied, parking limited. Mold smell was REALLY REALLY BAD. house needs Damp rid™ and a decon team to get rid of mold smell. Downstairs bathroom fan was EXTREMELY LOUD & shook up the upstairs bedroom waking anyone at anytime it was used. Saturday morning the maintenance team rides in a EXTREMELY LOUD 4whl truck VERY early in the morning for trash or gardening or pool. Expect no sleeping in. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place.

Great Place but Beds not so good

The place was exactly as advertised. The only problem is with the master bed. It was very hard and springs sticking out. My wife never slept in the same room as me due to the bed situation. We actually came home a day early due to this. The beds in the house need replaced. Everything else was as advertised and very nice.

Disappointment

Actually, the house wasn't like in the pictures. The coat, on living room, was too old and inappropriate to a rental house. The microwave had a tape in your door?? One of the beds was broked?? Our vacancy in this house was a totally disappointment and got my family and I very upset!! I don't understand why a house in Champions Gate doesn't have maintenance!

No internet and alarm going off

Was trying to work from the property but internet did not work the whole time I was there. The cords to the modem and for the cable were frayed and not properly installed. I could not of been the first resident that had that problem. I had to get a hotel to get on online. Also the alarm system constantly was beeping (took management two days to get it to shut off).

Horrible Stay

I’ve booked with VRBO for almost 10 years. Stayed at Championgate 7 out of those 10 years. I did everything required to acquire this property. This was my first time dealing with the company ‘Vacasa’. Even had to put all of my guests on the list. Fast forward, Got to the gate, gave the man my license and confirmation number. He said my name wasn’t on the property. Told me to pull around and tell Vacasa to add me to the listing. When I called, the representative told me to lie ( those were his words, just tell a little lie) and tell them that my address was somewhere else at another property. That worked. Got to the property, everything was good, or so I thought. I opened the silverware drawer to get my son’s spoon for their cereal and a roach crawled out of nowhere. I took pictures. Then the next night, we made tacos, left the remainder out on the island, I turned the kitchen light on and about 10 roaches scattered. Me and my sons went to the pool at the property, I spent almost 30 minutes trying to get all of the dead bugs out of the water. Pool water level was low as well. Come to find out, the net above the pool was hanging down. This really put a damper on my trip. Communication was great but nothing came from talking to them.
