BelĂ€get vid havet i New Jersey Avenue, kan du komma Ă„t stranden och strandpromenaden utan att korsa gatan! Huset har nya matta genom hela, nya rostfria apparater och bĂ€nkskivor i granit i köket, och kabel-TV och wifi. Familjer och vĂ€nner kommer att njuta av den omvĂ€nda levande layouten med en öppen planlösning. ÖvervĂ„ningen huvudsakliga bostadsyta ger ett vackert redone kök, med plats för 9 (ett 6-personers matbord och 3 barstolar vid disken). Familjerummet Ă€r öppet mot köket och har en utdragbar soffa i full storlek och en skjutbar glasdörr som gĂ„r ut pĂ„ en andra vĂ„ningen balkong. TvĂ„ sovrum Ă€r belĂ€gna pĂ„ övervĂ„ningen (ett med en dubbelsĂ€ng, ett med tvĂ„ enkelsĂ€ngar), samt ett badrum med badkar / duschkombo. NedervĂ„ningen ger gĂ€sterna ett annat sovrum (tvĂ„ enkelsĂ€ngar), en dubbelsĂ€ng och ett badrum med dusch. Den nedre glidande glasdörren leder till bakdĂ€ck med en sluten utomhusdusch och grill. Despite a gray and rainy week, we had a great vacation at the townhouse. Plenty of room for 6 adults plus a baby, and we were inside a lot! Perfect location to get around to shops, restaurants, beach and bay. The house is slightly dated, which is fine, but the stains on the white sofas and carpet were a bit of a turn off. Out back space is very small, as indicated in pictures and description. The front balcony is a great place for morning coffee. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location for family getaway!

My family including 4 kids were looking for a place in Lavalette close to where our extended family were staying. We found the perfect spot. Close to the beach, restaurants and ice cream! The owner was very accommodating and everything was as promised.

Great week

We had a group of 3 adults and 3 teeen/teens. There was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. The location is perfect, beach block and in the heart of Lavalette! Will rent here again.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay. Property was as advertised. Easy walk to the beach - close to the boardwalk which was nice for walking in the morning. Walking distance to some restaurants and Colonial Bakery. Can hear early morning and late night road noise which is was the only negative.

Nice place. Good Value

Place is nice, clean and close to the beach. Could use some modernizing but overall it was good. Main living space (kitchen, living room & two bedrooms) are on the second floor which can be a problem if you have someone who doesn't handle stairs easily. That's not a knock on the place just a heads up. Cannot beat proximity to the beach and private driveway for parking was great.

Fun, relaxing family vacation

Overall we had a good time. The location was just a short walk to the boardwalk and beach entrance, which was great for our toddler to walk. It is also located right across from a delicious ice cream spot called Salty’s! The bay was a short drive from the house where they had playgrounds which our toddler loved playing at. There was enough space inside for all of us, 4 adults, a toddler and an infant and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The outside shower was a good asset to have after a fun day at the beach.

Unfortunately this was an awful beach rental experience


Unfortunately we entered into horribly dirty and vile conditions. We dealt with bathrooms floors filled with hair and dirt, old and dirty showers with used soap bars inside. Thank goodness for the outside shower! Our entire family would not and did not shower inside. The couches were covered with crazy stained and dirty slip covers. Thank goodness we brought blankets from home to cover so we felt comfortable sitting. The kitchen stove and microwave were left dirty and gross. Even the plastic placemats were stained and dirty. We were forced to start our vacation with a trip to the store buying a large amount of cleaning supplies and had to clean. We let the owner know with no reply. Sigh. Sadly, we were so incredibly disappointed and angry with the amount of cleaning we had to do to just be in the rental. We were also disappointed with the description of outdoor spaces. Please note, the upstairs deck is NOT a deck. A small balcony that only fits 2 chairs. And there is NO deck out back as stated. There is a landing out back for the outdoor shower. The only table is an old dirty plastic table that seats 4. Thank goodness we had great weather and spent as little time as possible inside. So upset from start to finish. I would not recommend this property unless the owners fully update bathrooms and appliances, replace all furniture, paint all walls, power wash entry ways and know this does not have outdoor space for families. So sad to say we were extremely disappointed and stressed during our vacation.

Pretty Good

We enjoyed our stay in Lavallette, great weather, and the accommodations were pretty good. The layout of the townhouse was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. The outdoor shower was great, my boys really liked showering there. There was plenty of TP and cleaning products. My husband and I liked the balcony, we sat out there every night. The kitchen could have been stocked better with utensils and cooking equipment. We made due, but there wasn't really enough forks and knives for our group. The window treatments were not darkening enough either, so my kids were up really early every day. And we would have appreciated one additional tv. For the size of the unit, I'm not sure why it only has one tv. The walk to the beach was perfect. And having ice cream across the street was great too! All in all - this place was great for booking at the last minute, but could use a little more comfort and updating for the cost of the rental. Thanks for sharing your home with us! We love the NJ Shore!
