Härlig villa mycket rymliga hus med enourmous grunder och fantastisk utsikt över öppna landskap.

Detta traditionella, stenhus är rymlig Charentaise bondgård ligger i ett fantastiskt läge och är utrustad med en mycket hög standard.

Huset ligger på toppen av en kulle med vidsträckt utsikt över öppna landskap i en vacker och fridfull plats, men den lokala byn är bara en mil bort med snabbköp, boulangerie, barer och gratis tennisbana. Dina närmaste grannar är över 200 meter, över banan och ner för backen.

De 3 tunnland mycket privata skäl är främst som att gräsmattan så massor av utrymme att spela eller bara koppla av. Det finns en utomhus, helt inhägnad pool och täckt grillplats med utomhus bord och stolar för 12, vilket gör uteservering ett verkligt nöje.

Den lokala staden, Ruffec, med sin fantastiska fiskmarknaden och överflöd av butiker och stormarknader ligger bara 15 minuter bort. De vackra gamla städerna Confolens, Angouleme och Poitiers är mindre än en timme bort och de historiska städerna Cognac och Jarnac är inom räckhåll.

Området är perfekt för promenader eller cykling (huset är utrustat med 2 cyklar) med ett antal floden och sjön fritids områden bara en kort bit bort.

Själva huset har 5 sovrum (2 king size-och 3 tvåbäddsrum) alla på övervåningen, med många synliga bjälkar och alla kring en enorm landning. Det finns två badrum på övervåningen, både nyrenoverade och med duschkabiner och ett kast översta fritt stående bad. Det finns ytterligare en toalett på nedervåningen. Alla sängkläder tillhandahålls och är av hög kvalitet med bomullslakan och fluffiga vita handdukar.

Nedervåningen är ett fullt utrustat hus kök med utbud spis med dubbel ugn, kombinerad mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, vin / öl kyl, stor kyl och frys, diskmaskin, frukost bord och stolar och en full uppsättning av matchande porslin och glas.

Loungen är enorm med braskaminer i vardera änden och mer synliga bjälkar, mycket bekväma soffor och en lång matsal matbord.

Det finns en separat TV-rum med en widescreen-tv med alla engelska kanaler som levereras via friaste, surroundljud och en DVD-spelare med en omfattande samling av DVD-skivor. Detta rum har också en bäddsoffa.

Huset är också utrustad med en tvättmaskin, torktumlare, strykjärn och strykbräda.

Detta hus och grunder har gott om plats för barnen att leka och har en full storlek bordtennisbord, darttavla och två cyklar för gästerna. Väluppfostrade hundar är välkomna.

Peaceful gite with lots to do and see nearby

We had a wonderful week here and thoroughly enjoyed the sprawling farmhouse and grounds, the stunning views, wildlife, and peace and quiet. A deer visited us one evening which was magical and there was nothing but the birds to listen to during the day. The village was perfect for fresh baked bread and pastries, and the Carrefour express complete with fuel pumps at the end of the lane was the perfect pit stop after a day out sightseeing. Lots of pretty villages and larger towns within striking distance if you wanted to explore. Or just relax at the gite where there were plenty of places in and out of the shade in the gardens and terraces, and by the pool. We’d recommend lots of insect repellent as the flies were incessant this time of year, especially around the pool area. Of course, it’s to be expected as you’re in the countryside, but it didn’t stop us having a lovely holiday here. The Carrefour had plenty of citronella candle options and there were lots of candle holders at the gite to keep the insects at bay in the evenings. Lots of games and a boules set provided as well as a great collection of inflatables if you are staying with kids. Thank you to Diane and your team for making us so welcome.

Three Generation Family Holiday

We had an enjoyable family holiday. The generous proportions of the rooms and extensive external area means you can spread yourselves which is useful for the differing generations with various spots to eat and enjoy a morning coffee. We appreciated the badminton/etc as plenty of play items for the youngsters. The pool was a great attraction . We found the proximity to Champagne Mouton ideal for shopping and the two parks, especially the zip wire for the youngsters and the tennis facility. It was disappointing the local bar was closed considering still August. The area at Rejellant near Ruffec was impressive with a play and beach area area for youngsters as well as older children. We made a number of trips to villages and towns close by all of which were interesting so all in all a good week despite the weather being somewhat disappointing for August.Thank you to Diane for the kind gifts on our arrival.

A lovely very large property with loads of space for all. Pool and pool area spacious and plenty of sun beds. Gardens massive with plenty of space for kids to play and explore. Great internal and external seating areas with a BBQ as well. Parking for 4 or more cars. Just a mile to nearest supermarket, newsagent, PO, chemist and bakers. Ideal location.

Heerlijk familie huis

Met 2 gezinnen hebben we hier 2 heerlijke weken gehad. Het huis is super mooi en rustig gelegen, vanaf verschillende zitjes is het uitzicht fantastisch. Het huis is enorm ruim, de keuken is geweldig en de kinderen vonden de "gameroom" erg fijn! Het huis bleef bij de hitte koel en dat is prettig. Het huis is zeer sfeervol ingericht, een echt Frans familiehuis. De tuin is groot en prachtig, maar niet omheind (het zwembad gedeelte wel). Kortom, echt een aanrader!!

Wonderful!!

We had the most wonderful holiday at Maison Neuve! The house is beautiful and incredibly well equipped. We did not need anything as it was all there. The various areas outdoor areas were incredible and we spent most of out time outside playing games and laughing. It is an incredible family home!

Lovely rural location. Well equipped house.

Our extended family stayed here following a wedding in St Emilion. The house was really comfortable, and had everything we needed including towels for the pool. We loved the outside space, perfect for BBQ and happy hours were spent in the pool. The location was great for activities including kayaking, cycling,walking and there are lovely restaurants nearby.

Beautiful house with fantastic facilities in lovely rural location.

We loved our holiday at Maison Neuve. The house is perfect, loads of living space downstairs, a beautiful country kitchen and extensive grounds with a gated pool. It has amazing views over the surrounding countryside.

Perfect!

Just back from our week’s holiday at Maison Neuve with our family of 12. Everyone loved it, especially all the space! We much appreciated how well presented and equipped it was: we wanted for nothing. Lovely pool and very practical covered area with enormous table to enjoy barbecues. Beautiful view across the valley, and it was nice to have all that grass to play French cricket and frisbees. Very peaceful location, but only a short distance to pretty riverside villages. Highly recommended.

Relaxing stay in the Countryside

Huge house with lots of space to relax and with 4 grandchildren that's amazing. Beautiful views from the front of the house. Grandchildren spent most of their time in the pool or garden but when exhausted would flop down in front of television and watch a video, or played with the toys provided or games and there were so many. Beds were very comfortable so we slept well. Great places to visit from here and some amazing restaurants. Kitchen very well equipped, and we had a few barbecues. All in all a lovely stay

Fantastic property for family holiday.

Maison Neuve is an exceptional property offering privacy and lots of space. The property is bursting with character and authenticity. The property is very well maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped to easily handle large family groups. The bathrooms are modern and the showers are beauties. The interior is all we were hoping for. The outside of the property is a joy- so much space for kids to roam and play and the swimming pool is perfect for both kids and adults. This property provides the best of both worlds, seclusion and you are only a five minute drive away from petrol stn and supermarket in Champagne Mouton. The surrounding area around Ruffec is bursting with places to see and things to do. The Le Clerq supermarket, 11 miles away is HUGE and Ruffec also boasts some great cultural venues. Restaurants are sited in stunning locations with lovely well priced food. Bracantes are held on a regular basis in summer and are a must to visit, the French know how to car boot sale!! To find this property when you arrive - from Ruffec drive to Champagne Mouton take the first left at Carrefour Supermarche drive for a mile and simply follow signs for Maison Neuve. We can't recommend this property enough and will certainly be hoping to return again.
