Wonder experience

Pulling up to the property you first notice the beautiful woods all around it. We din’t get to use the outdoor fire pit due to rain but very well done and looked so enjoyable. Very clean inside. Lots of different areas to hangout inside and outside the house. Hot tub was fantastic. Blackstone grill worked perfect. Lots of pots and pans. Plenty of plates and cups. Huge kitchen with lots of seating. Fireplace worked great. Firewood for sale on property right across from the house.

Weekend getaway

We needed a weekend getaway after the holidays to decompress and this was the perfect cabin for us. We had all the amenities we needed to stay in. Enjoyed the quietness and beautiful fireplace.

Cabin in the Woods, Not a Hotel

Cabin is sufficient. No live support for needs - keycode didn't work at check-in and had to wait for messages to be returned, had a power outage without any emergency lighting supplies, had aggressive dogs attacking from neighboring cabin occupants, etc. Cabin has worn furniture, kitchenware, floors, etc. One way gravel road access up steep climb. About 20 minute drive to Hocking Hills, to Logan, to Rockbridge, etc. Cabin had most items expected for normal needs. Washer and dryer worked well. Hot tub was around 100 and sat 4.

Perfect family getaway.

For our group, this property was private, cozy, clean and comfortable. It had everything equipped for our needs and the hot tub made an especially nice experience for after those long day hikes. We also enjoyed gathering together outside by the perfectly placed fire pit where we made more memories, laughing and looking at the beautiful stars. We started a “HIDE THE DOLLAR” game in this cabin. So if you stay here, find our family in the guestbook and the rules to the game and keep it going! We loved it here and will definitely be looking to return. Thank you to the host for providing such a lovely getaway and opportunity.

Quite stay

Overall a great time, enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing in nature. Was a small mistake with the code to get in but when we called the property owner they took care of it right away.

Family Vacation

It is a very cozy cottage. Plently of room for everyone. Very well furnished. An amazing cottage near many area attractions. My only suggestion would be more seating in the livingroom for everyone to be together. Overall it was the best weekend! And the best hosts.

Blue Ash Cabin

Overall, it was a great place to bring the family. You are about 20 minutes from everything. I only had 2 small complaints, we did not get the door code before we arrived and second the top deck railing was not very secure. Having small children that high up with a wobble railing they wanted to hold on to was not good for my mama heart. However, we slept great and had plenty of things to do at the cabin after a long day of hiking.

The cabin was perfect for our family. The cabin is in quiet area within the forest. It’s was close to the all the trails, City of Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. Hot tub was very nice.

Girls trip

There were 4 of us and we loved it! Plenty of space and it was beautiful! We hiked 2 of the days there and the drive to the state park was easy (“back roads”) but we had no trouble finding it. If I could leave any negative it would be that there needs to be more seating in the living room. There was just a couch and then bar stools at the table, so watching tv upstairs together wasn’t as easy. Otherwise a great stay!

Hocking Hills 2 night stay

This is a nice cabin in the Hocking Hills area. We enjoyed the location and the amenities (hot tub, Foosball table, not far from hikes). The place was clean and we appreciated the ability to relax after a day of hiking. Check-in was a breeze. Happily used my 4 wheel drive to navigate the hilly gravel drive (which is no joke for those who are more familiar with the Great Plains...lol). Overall, we were very happy.

GETAWAY

Very nice property. The cabin was clean. We loved the hot tub and fire place. It was great for a few days getaway. The only negatives were the smell of the water and the cookware needs replaced ( only one small pot and one useable skillet).

It was a beautiful place to stay.

Hello, it was a great place to stay. Clean and the property owners were great. A few household updates in the kitchen supplies may be needed. Some of the pans, just from use need replaced. Fiid stuck very easily even with butter ir spray. The toaster needs updated, the one side liked to stick and caused the bread to burn. So, that could be a fire issue if people are not watching. Overall will recommend to friends and family. Thabk you!

Place was not difficult to find. Good location. Loved waking up to deer grazing nearby. Place was clean and inviting. Surprisingly quite soundproof from outside noise. Enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit almost everyday and night. Ash Cave and other sites not too far away.
