Beautiful, well appointed cabin and lovely setting… We loved the porch and morning fires. Very peaceful and private. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Cabin in Beautiful Location!

This was our second stay and we had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and the property is amazing. The proximity to Highlands can't be beat either.

What a charming rustic cabin in a beautiful private setting! We stayed in winter, so were not able to take advantage of all the cabin has to offer, but it was cozy and comfortable for our getaway. Downtown Highlands is a short drive away. There's so much to do and see all around. We hope to return!

Wonderful property and home!

All of us enjoyed this lovely home and though it is tucked away in a beautiful setting, it was so convenient to everything. Perfect for teens/college-aged children.

Lovely cabin

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautifully maintained and well equipped to meet our needs. Katherine was a sweetheart; property manager, Stephen, was responsive and easy to communicate with. Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting and minutes to town.

Awesome House for friends and family

We had a group of Dads and Kids stay for the weekend. Everyone had plenty of room and fun things to do. Concierge went above and beyond for our stay as well.

Dream cabin

Wonderful trip! The cabin fully accommodated our group of all ages. We did not get to enjoy the grounds too well due to unexpected snow but it did not hinder our stay at all. Truly a gem we would love to visit again!

Awesome Holiday

We stayed at the Big Billy Cabin for Christmas and had a wonderful time. The cabin is awesome. Meticulously kept up with lots of space. The concierge service was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Big Billy Cabin Delivers

Rented this for family Christmas with 13 family members and it was perfect size wise and location. Great game room for family fun and perfect for adult relaxation. We will rent it again!

The home met our expectations and more! Owners easy to work with. Plenty of room for our 3 families to vacation together. Area has plenty of activities nearby by: Hilking, fishing, site seeing several waterfalls, restaurants (however we loved this homes kitchen and pantry and several fireplaces with awesome recreation room we ate most meals in). Janet met us at check-in and welcomed us showing us the home and property and was helpful in answering questions of the area. Thanks Janet! We will return for sure! Lhufford -Ohio

Amazing Stay minutes from Highland

This property was absolutely amazing. The historic Joe Webb cabin was crafted with the most detailed architecture. Our family enjoyed staying there and making memories in the great room and on the back porch. The basement is filled with light and endless entertainment. You can not beat the location as it is just minutes from Highland. We loved our stay here and look forward to returning!

Top Notch

I’ve stayed at a million places in Highlands and this one strikes the best balance of close to town but enough space to enjoy the outdoors. It was an INCREDIBLE cabin (coming from a cabin snob). Fireplaces galore, wonderful covered porches, games for the kids, hiking trails, river, etc. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

80th Birthday

The house is absolutely beautiful on a large piece of property that abuts a creek. We had four families gathered and had room for everybody with multiple entertaining areas as well as indoor and outdoor fire places. The location is excellent and we would gladly stay there again if we were to have a large gathering.

The concierge Janet was fabulous! She promptly answered any question I had regarding the house and area. Additionally, the house was not sterile like so many VRBO’s. It was truly set up like it was your own personal residence. My family was there over Christmas and it was simply magical! We spent nights with a fire, playing games and even had a local chef prepare a meal one night! It was simply the trip of a lifetime! Katherine, words cannot fully express the beauty of your home.

Property was awesome! House is super cool and unique. Creek running through property that was picturesque and kids loved playing in. Only consideration was we had small kids and furniture was so nice I was continually worried kid may break something. Otherwise awesome!

Incredible home

This is one of the coziest homes I’ve ever stepped foot in! We loved our stay so much and cannot wait to go back. The property is gorgeous. The trail down to the river was such a gorgeous surprise! Follow all the way. It’s beautiful! Can’t wait to visit again when it’s warm. The primary bed was so comfortable and the steam shower was amazing! There are just so many good parts to this house. I could go on and on.

Great quick getaway

This home was a lovely place to quarantine with our older kids. Everyone had their own space to work and hang out. The weather wasn't great but the porch with huge fireplace was so cozy and we had morning coffee, afternoon snacks and after dinner games out there. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a really good layout. The basement was fantastic for games, etc. It was very nice to take our dog. She loved the acreage and all of the new smells. We can't wait to go back!

Delightful Thanksgiving in the Highlands

What a beautiful property for our Thanksgiving getaway. We had plenty of space for each of our children and their children to sleep and play. Our kitchen was well equipped for our many meals and especially our Thanksgiving meal. We loved gathering around the many fireplaces with a gracious supply of split wood. We hiked and played outdoor games on the beautiful property. We had the incredible support of our personal concierge Stephen,who was available 24/7. Such a memorable time at Big Billy Cabin! Thank you!

Magnificent Private Cabin!

Our family of six absolutely LOVED our recent stay in this luxurious cabin. The cabin is very spacious, clean, cozy, private and well equipped with amenities. The owner has provided everything you could need. We felt so welcome. Just sitting on one of the grand porches and listening to the creek and wildlife was worth the entire stay. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Local shopping in Highlands is only 10 minutes away. We are so appreciative that we were given the opportunity to enjoy this amazing home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
