Perfect Getaway Place for Families

Beautiful place, with everything we needed for a fun weekend away. The clubhouse was perfect for the teens, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the splash pad was right outside our door for our littlest ones.

Mother's Day Get-A-Way : The prefect retreat at The Sun House!

Exceeded ALL expectations. The property is clean, well-maintained, and stocked full of all the amenities needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The décor is stylish and not overstated... felt more like a spa retreat than a townhome/condo. The unit location at the Resort is quite convenient... only a few steps from the pool entrance and the splash pad is easily accessible as well as visible from the porch or mater balcony. The north/south orientation of the unit also provides a great mix of sun & shade throughout the day without the blast of early morning or late afternoon bright-light as the sun moves overhead. Communication with the property manager was timely and easily understood. The only problem we had was with the fancy electronic lock at check-in, and that was resolved quickly and the lock wasn't an issue the remainder of the stay. Beds were very comfortable in all of the rooms, in-suite baths made for plenty of privacy and convenience. The shuttered windows allow plenty of light and we enjoyed the mild spring weather with many of the windows open and ceiling fans keeping us cool :: our four-year-old granddaughter called it "The Sun House". All of the appliances large and small were in good repair and the fridge, dishwasher, and wash & dryer were all high-quality and worked great. There's plenty of seating for 20 people to dine without being crowded and that doesn't include the kiddie table - which was a BIG HIT with the grandkids. ALL of the kids, big & small young & old, enjoyed the pool, the waterfall/slide, and the hot tub... and the neighboring tenants were welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful and blooming and the lizards visited often! Should we have the opportunity to stay in the area again, we will be back for more fun in the sun!

Super responsive

Rented for a St George tournament for our young athlete. Great stay. Clean, comfortable and fun. The owners were readily available when we had a hard time accessing the unit with a door code. The issue was immediately fixed. Couldn’t be more happy with the effort and response to our concern. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Poolside paradise

This place was awesome for our family of 8! Kids loved the bunk room. Parents loved this large master bath and comfy bed! Super clean, great location and supplied with everything we needed. Whenever I reached out to the property manager they were quick to respond and always helpful. We’ll definitely stay there again!

Splash pad didn't work

We rented this specific property for one reason and that was because the splash pad was right outside the back door. We have two small children and it would have been perfect for them to play and splash all day out the back door, but unfortunately, the splash pad would not work during the daytime. It would come on at 6:45 am and turn off at 7:30 am and wouldn't work the rest of the day. We messaged the property owners about the issue multiple times, they said that they would try to get it working, but nothing was ever done to fix the issue. I'm sure that it was as simple as a timer or something that was set wrong and we even offered to fix it if someone would walk us through it. We were there for three full days and didn't once see anyone trying to fix the problem. The home was beautiful, but we were very upset that the splash pad wasn't fixed while we were there.

we went for a cheer competition and stayed a few more days it was amazing. Beautiful home nice amenities. my only complaint would be the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and the Foosball table was broke, those were small things though.... Again amazing place.

Great rental for a family

Our family of 5 stayed 4 nights. Plenty of room to spread out. The pool gate and splash pad are right off the back patio. The clubhouse had a nice ping pong table and pool table. We would stay again.

Great unit best location in the Resort

The location is perfect with pool and splash pad right out of the back door. Property was clean and comfortable, good mattresses in the bedrooms and great kitchen. Owner responded quickly to calls and texts. Octillo springs is a nice resort community, the pool area is built around younger kids, it's great for toddlers to under 12 crowd. Older kids/teenagers may get bored with how the pool is set up. Overall we had a great time with our 9 and 5 yr olds and would definitely look for this unit again.

This property is so much fun. There is something for everyone, from pickle ball and pool to ping pong and swimming. The pool is right outside our back door and the sound of the water takes you right to paradise.

The unique benefits are that Ocotillo Springs is far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy St. George and all that it has to offer. Guests can bring their food and clothes and spend their entire stay right in the community!
