HD Acres - Rustic Retreat nära Road America och Kohler Golf

En kvarts mil in i skogen tar dig till vår husgård som ligger på 40 tunnland som har allt - dammar, skogar, gräs, stigar och fruktträdgårdar. Du känner att du är borta från allt men du är verkligen nära lokala attraktioner. Bara 8 miles från Road America, 10 miles till Kohler och 10 miles till Whistling Straits.

Huset har ett stort ätkök, 2 badrum och 3 sovrum med dubbelsängar. Familjerummet och köket har stora bildfönster för varje säsongs naturliga skönhet. Den privata trädgården har utsikt över ett litet damm och har en eldstad.

På vår hembygd hittar du en flock kycklingar som vandrar fastigheten, om du gillar färska ägg, släpp oss en anteckning när du bokar din vistelse så kommer vi att se till att färska ägg i gården väntar på dig. Om din vistelse är på sen vinter, hittar du oss troligt ute i skogen och knackar på träd och samlar sap för vår hemlagade lönnsirap.

Perfect Retreat

This is our second time staying at HD Acres and the cabin is a great place to stay if you are in town for Road America. Not too far away and it is a quiet, clean cabin on beautiful property. The host is great and very tenative. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay for Road America

Stayed with a group of friends for Road America. The house was exactly what we needed for a “home base” while we spent the weekend at the track. The property is lovely, only complaint I have is that I didn’t have time to spend more time outdoors there!

A Welcoming Retreat

A very nice place to stay! It was clean, spacious and homey. The outdoor area was beautiful and peaceful. It was everything that we needed and we felt so comfortable here. We would definitely stay again!

Race Team Track Weekend

Traveled to Road America for a weekend endurance race. Chose to stay off site and this cabin nestled in the woods was the perfect choice. Great place to stay, quiet, clean, and the owners are very nice. They take great pride and care of their property and it made our trip even more special. Thank you!

Rustic retreat was far from rustic!

Driving up the winding tree lined driveway was so pleasant - and when we walked in the house, we found a lovely, modern home. Everything was included (coffee maker, washer & dryer were very appreciated) to make our stay great. Lori communicated EVERYTHING to us well before we started our drive clearly and adjusted the bill when I discovered I had us coming a day earlier than we planned. The grounds were beautiful - landscaped, flowers around the house, pond with a frog. My travel buddy is a birder and enjoyed morning coffee “birding” from the kitchen window. We came for June Sprints and hope we can stay with Lori & family for the Runoffs Fall 2024!

Great Stay!

It was a wonderful stay. Perfect location. Great property. Loved the outside firepit and pond! Delightful. The rooms were comfortable. The picnic table in the dining area was super fun for the four of us to eat and play board games. Thank you for giving us a super vacation!

Exactly as advertised

Loved the house and the country location. Home was immaculate and exactly as pictured. Hosts were easy to work with. We stayed on a very hot weekend and the window air conditioners struggled to keep the house cool, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Great Oasis in Farm Country

What a great country setting to stay for a few days! It was like finding a great little oasis in the middle of farm country. The house was easy to find and within a 10 minute drive to Sheboygan Falls, Kohler, Plymouth and Elkhart Lake. It was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Get relaxing getaway

Great property and host, it was just a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do. The house was equipped with extra fans as no AC.!!opened the windows at night and a cool breeze was all we needed. Loved the chickens roaming the grounds. Next time we might as for eggs for our breakfast.

Beautiful quiet location

We had a very nice time. It was the perfect place to come back to after our days attending a horse competition my daughter was in. We would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the yard, chickens and pond. Wow, what a nice place.

H-D Acres Stay

Stayed here for a fishing weekend for my Dads Birthday. Really nice property in secluded area. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. The house was really clean and I thought even nicer than the pictures. Fun vibe with the free ranging chickens and frog pond. All the grounds were really well taken care of. The wifi and tv are kind of what you would expect being off the beaten path. But just encouraged the teens with us to enjoy the outdoors and spend more family time. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely come back again.
