Wow!! This villa is spectacular. We had 5 couples and the villa is large enough to have privacy yet very easy to gather all together. We enjoyed every part of the house from the pool room and sauna and hot tub to the outside pool We ate our meals at both of the large tables inside and outside. Pietro was very responsive to our requests in particular after a large thunderstorm he came right over to reset a circuit breaker that went out. The housekeeping services lead by Daniela were wonderful as well. The setting of the villa is on several acres looking out over the beautiful Tuscany landscape. Thank you again Pietro.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We took our family to Italy to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The villa was perfect for a large family, with all bedrooms having private bathrooms. Pietro and his team were phenomenal and helped me with planning and recommendations. I would highly recommend this property.

Our family and friends (group of 13) could not have been happier with our stay. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. So clean, easy communication, great location for Florence and Pisa day trips and numerous amazing wineries. Evening meals at villa were amazing and incredibly fun. Highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Podere Maiano. We had 11 people including three grandchildren under six years old. Pietro and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. They helped us schedule delicious meals including a pizza night and a special feast for our final evening there. Every dinner there was eaten at the large outdoor table and ended with memorable conversations and laughs. The villa was exceptionally clean, the pool and hot tub very well kept, beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. We had plenty of room for family time and privacy. The setting of the Villa is spectacular with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. The sunrises were beautiful and worth waking up to see. Our family would vacation here again without hesitation.

Home was stunning, expansive, stuff for everyone, great location. We had a beautiful wedding for Leslie's daughter and wife. Pietro and his staff helped greatly with this. The home cooked dinner was amazing. This brought our blended family together! Then we all took day trips, sometimes together, sometimes in small groups. every turn was a scenic beauty.

Wonderful Stay

This was, simply, the most incredible vacation our group of 16 has ever experienced. Not only was Villa beyond perfect, our host and his staff were so gracious and helpful. The whole experience was perfect. Pietro and his team were extremely hospitable and attentive. The villa and grounds were spectacular! Newly remodeled Tuscan farmhouse that has all the comforts of home with en-suite bathrooms; new firm beds; modern kitchen appliances, a wonderful pool, and plenty of indoor and outdoor places to entertain. It is 5 KM from Buonconvento, which has the largest grocery store (Coop) in the region and plenty of other stores and restaurants. The property owner, speaks perfect English and checks in on you every day. The housekeepers are wonderful.

Unbelievable Villa - Trip of a Lifetime

I brought my extended family of 18 people to Tuscany and we had an incredible stay. Communication w/ Pietro was great as was everything about the villa. Location close to Buenconvento was great w/ grocery store, cafes, and restaurants just 5 mins away. Members of our group made easy day trips to Pienza, Montalcino, Sienna, and Florence. The property and villa are somehow even better than the pictures. Our group enjoyed the morning sunrise over the valley, walks around the vineyard, a lot of time spent in the pool, and the outdoor seating and dining areas. The en suite bathrooms in every room were nice with a group of our size. Last but not least, Pietro helped coordinate 3 dinners at the villa: a cooking class w/ 2 local Italian women, a pizza chef to fire up the pizza oven, and a prepared dinner w/ the same ladies from the cooking class. These 3 evenings were easily the highlight for our group. The meals were delicious and the chefs all charming and knowledgeable. We can't wait to come back.

Amazing villa

We had the good fortune to stay at Podere Mainao in mid-September. The property is amazing. Very clean, spacious and well-kept. Centrally located to other local towns in Tuscany. Pietro, the property owner, was available and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to return

Tuscan Fun!

We had a fantastic stay at Podere Maiano! Pietro was an excellent host and helped us organize activities and meals during our time there. The house was beautiful and well located for wine tours. We would definitely stay at Podere Maiano again.
