Secondary place to stay

We came down to the Isle of Palms for celebrating my mother-in-law‘s 80th birthday and the house wasn’t quite big enough so we used this apartment which was 3 minutes drive away to for overflow. It was a great apartment. They were doing work on the lower basement level when we were there, but that should be all done by now. The bedrooms are good. They were spread apart from each other with bathrooms in the middle. Great view and nice pool to swim

Great stay

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at this property. I don’t think the decor is as dated as the other reviews made it sound. It was perfectly fine for a family of four. The location was great, and it had easy access to the pool, beach, and walking path. My only complaint is that a beach property in the beach in the middle of the summer should be stocked with more towels. There were 3 beach towels and 5 bath towels. Only one hand towel in the whole place! I was glad we had brought a few of our own towels to take down to the pool and for sweat when my husband played tennis on a hot day.

Wake up to an ocean view & sounds

Beautifully appointed villa. Just steps to the beach. You can hear & see the waves from your balcony. We walked the beach everyday. Very clean & stunning views.

Fall Break escape

Love staying in Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes Resort . This Summer Cabin Condo was perfect and was very clean . Perfect view of the ocean from the balcony and living room, and only steps to the beach . Definitely coming back to this one .

Perfect Stay

The condo was equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean, amazing view of the beach, and we absolutely love Wild Dunes. We did have some issues with noise from another condo in the middle of the night, but we called Wild Dunes security and they addressed the problem immediately. It was a perfect trip!

Fall vacation

Very clean and nicely decorated condo facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. This condo had everything we needed. We would def stay here again. There does seem to be mold on the ceiling in the dining room above the table near the vent that needs to be addressed. Other than that the condo is exceptional.

Disappointed

Having vacationed in Wild Dunes for many years, this was the 1st time to rent there using Vacasa and were very disappointed. While the individual unit was well-stocked and in a great location, we were never advised of on-going building construction noise that would prevent enjoyment of the balcony as well as continual drilling, hammering and sawing inside the unit starting as early as 8:00 every workday. A text was sent @ 2 days before arrival @ fencing in the parking lot but nothing was noted in January when we first rented nor when the final payment was due. On the website, the estimated nightly rate using the dates to rent (for June) was considerably lower than what our actual bill was. The door lock was also a challenge in that it frequently timed out when trying to get thru the 10 digit sequence with all green lights.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary

Beautiful Condo, Excellent location and the View over the ocean was Perfect. The maid service is outstanding, our unit was Spotless. You can see they even cleaned the light fixtures in bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. As far as Maintenace, TV in master bedroom did not work and took 3 days, multiple calls and text to resolve. The remote is still broken and I hope they replace it for the next guess

Terribly disappointing

This condo was disappointing. The furniture and condo itself is old and outdated and the unit has not been well maintained over all. The washing machine was not working from the onset. We contacted the management company immediately and no one came to fix it for five days, despite many complaints from us. We had a lot of other issues as well-broken light switches, drawers not opening easily, an iron that didn’t work and an ironing board without a pad. The pool was also shut down for a couple of days for some unknown reason. Overall, we would not recommend this property.

Been gone too long!

Had a great stay at the Summer House property. We have not been to Ilse of Palms for 30 years. Check in was a breeze and the property was on the quiet side of the island. The owners clearly made an attempt at updating some of the furnishing. We enjoyed watching the deer and the sunrises in the mornings and hanging out at the pool! The view from the balcony was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Condo!

We had a fantastic weekend at Summer House 309! The condo is as advertised on the website. The view is spectacular. The condo is a short walk from the beautiful beach. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Ocean front view! Easy access to the beach and the pool.

This particular property had some major issues with the TVs in the bedrooms. Maintenance came 2x time and for three days we did not have TVs in the bedrooms, unacceptable!!The drapes are outdated and needs to be replaced!!

Winter weekend away

Property was well taken care of and more than what we needed for our short stay. The elevator didn’t work on Friday and Sat morning, but we called Vacasa and they contacted the property managers and it was fixed. (Or someone else also reported it). We would have lived better weather to walk on the beach, but the high winds and high tide didn’t work with us. Will do it again in warmer weather for sure.

Great location, needs updating

We always love our stay at Isle of Palms, Summerhouse. This property is great itself but needs attention. The furniture in the main room is dated, worn and needs to be updated. Showers were a little moldy and ceilings around air vents are stained. Carpet on the deck overlooking the pool is old and needs to be replaced.

Great ocean view

Comfortable unit with a great view of the ocean. Mostly clean, though mold on ceilings and on master bedroom curtails need to be addressed. Enjoyed the table and chairs each morning for family breakfast. Need coat hangers in the closets.

Summer House

This condo is in a great location. its just large enough for 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to cook. The over all appearance is a bit worn. The twin beds where full of sand. I had to wash the bedding on the second day. The worst problem was the mold. There is mold around the air conditioning vents. It made the condo smell like mold. We ended up leaving a day early because it was so off putting.

Perfect condo with perfect views!

The condo was wonderful, comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The view couldn't have been more perfect! And working elevators were a huge plus since this vacation was especially for my 86 year old mother who is 100% dependent on a walker, if the elevator had not worked it would have been a game changer, so we are thankful for that! We loved so much we are looking into a return visit next May!
